Completing the first scenario in Legend Mode willunlock the ability to play Legend Mode, AdventureMode, and Free Mode with a co-op partner.

In Legend Mode and Free Mode, choose whichscenario to play and which warrior to use from theSelect Scenario screen.

A warrior with th icon displayed by his or herportrait is considered a recommended warrior,which means that he or she will be at anadvantage in that particular scenario.Each scenario has a recommended element( ), and recommended warriors can wield aweapon belonging to that element, thus dealingmore damage to enemies in that particular battle.

Winning a scenario in Legend Mode will unlockaccess to further scenarios. Scenarios completedin Legend Mode become available in Free Mode aswell.

Heart Container - Increases the warrior'sth gauge by one heart. Piece of Heart - Collect four to create a heart

Press / when your Magic gauge is full to usethe Focus Spirit ability. While Focus Spirit is active,your attack power and speed will increase and youwill be less susceptible to knock-back.Additionally, defeating a certain number ofenemies will yield various special bonuses.

Powerful enemies willperform certain attacks thatleave them exposed to animmediate counterattack.When this happens, a WeakPoint gauge will bedisplayed above theenemy's head. Once a battle starts, you will be tasked withvarious missions.Complete each mission in turn to move closer toclaiming overall victory in the battle!

Enemy troops spawn from enemy keeps andoutposts.Capturing these keeps and outposts will give youand your allies a great advantage in battle.

If one of your allies is in trouble, try to help thatally out before he or she is defeated. If yousuccessfully come to an ally's aid, that ally'shealth will be fully restored.You should also bear in mind that if an alliedcommander is forced to flee the field of battle, or ifthe Allied Base is lost to the enemy, you will losethe battle as a result.

You will win the battle if you achieve the victoryconditions.Victory also means that you get to keep any

Each weapon belongs to an element, and some ofits attacks will be boosted by an elemental effect.

Selecting a warrior bearing a weapon of therecommended element for a particular scenario willallow you to inflict more damage on the enemies inthat scenario.Warriors marked with th icon on the SelectScenario screen can use weapons imbued with therecommended element and are consideredrecommended warriors.

Fire

An enemy sent flying will explodewhen it hits the ground, causingdamage to other nearby enemies.

Water

Defeating enemies will slowly fill up yourexperience gauge. When the gauge is full, thewarrior will level up, which means increased attackstrength and maximum health.Additionally, leveling up midbattle will fully restorethe warrior's Health and Special Attack gauges.

Choose a warrior you would like to level up, andthen enter the Bazaar ( ). At the TrainingDojo, you can spend Rupees to make the warriorlevel up.But remember, the higher the warrior's level, themore expensive it will be to increase!

A warrior's maximum health increases at certainlevels. It can also be increased further bycollecting heart containers and pieces of heart.

The warriors who can acquire the heart containersor pieces of heart in a given scenario arepredetermined. You can see which warriors canacquire them on the Select Scenario screen( ) or the map screen in Adventure Mode( ).

Heart ContainerWith each of these, your warrior's maximum healthwill increase by one heart.

Some weapons you find might come with skills thatgive them special effects useful for battle ( ).At the Smithy, you can sell weapons, remove skills,appraise sealed skills, or fuse weapons to transferskills from one weapon to another.

1. Select a weapon to enhanceChoose a weapon you want to improve with a skill.You can only choose weapons with one or moreempty skill slots.2. Select a weapon to dismantleChoose a weapon to use as material. You can onlychoose weapons with skills attached.3. FuseFuse the two weapons. The second weapon will beconsumed in the process.

Choose the warrior whose weapons you want tofuse, and then enter the Bazaar ( ). SelectFuse Weapons in the Smithy to spend Rupees onfusing weapons.

Your aim in Adventure Mode is to defeat the DarkRuler and save the kingdom of Hyrule.With each battle you win, you will unlock newmaps to explore. If you use Item Cards to search amap square, you might discover a new route, apowerful weapon, or something else entirely.Travel from map to map, battling and searching asyou go, and before you know it, you'll be the heroof Hyrule!

You can choose to play as any of the warriors youhave unlocked in Legend Mode.However, some maps restrict which warriors orweapons are available to you.Using Legend Mode and Free Mode to train manydifferent warriors is the key to success inAdventure Mode!

The battles in Adventure Mode are divided into twotypes:

Challenge BattlesThese are small battles, fought with just the onewarrior you control. Fight to complete the missionobjective!

Adventure BattlesThese are large-scale battles, fought together with

Assist them bywinning battles on their maps! The battles will beharder than usual, but you will be well rewardedfor victory.
