Message from the Headmaster This yearbook has been produced by a team of staff and pupils from the Senior School, Ekali. Thanks to them for all the hard work they have put in to make this issue a success. We hope this publication gives you a flavour of Campion - its international character, its happy atmosphere and its range of activities. l have enjoyed my 5112 years as Headmaster of Campion and wHI cany away many happy memories of its staff and pupils. • Follow the wind away from the city; away from the exhaust fumes, con­crete canyons, noise and stress. Let the wind carry you over land and sea, in pursuit of aeolia~ pleasures.

• Let the wind drive your boat across seas Which have been a paradise for endless generations of Greek sailors. Here, there is neither turmoil nor bo­redom. Only the soft hiss of water rushing past the hull; the constantly changing panorama; the play of co­lour and light.

• If you are bolder, let the wind lift you above the earth and sea. Fly a glider. Realize man's oldest dream; to frolic among the natural inhabitants of the air.

Sailing and gliding are two pastimes which bring man and nature togeth­er without the intrusion of engines, or a need for fuel. Their energy is the wind- -itself a product of nature.They offer a respite from the city; an oppor­tunity for recreation and exercise.

• It may seem odd for an energy company to recommend these sports. But while the energy gap per­sists - and the accompanying need to conserve foreign currency- con­servation is important to all of us.
