We are the last cab off the rank….
Which has both advantages and disadvantages
as I stand between you and the
Much of our story has already been told by my colleague
Dr Jean Marc…..
We as a department already have an extensive global and Asian network
We teach courses in the region, and have been for years…….Vietnam, Cambodia and Myanmar….and have
further plans for future expansion
We have a diverse staff and a diverse student body
…and our present and future strategies exist within the confines of our current
Vision and Mission…….as follows……

1 To be the leading preferred school in graduate business and management education in Asia and in the world in terms of academic excellence
2 To utilize interdisciplinary approaches in graduate business education, information technology and organization development that Sustain social systems development GSB.
3 To conduct and utilize research and best practice that impact business education and industry practice
4 To aggressively recruit diverse and quality students to enroll in GSB programs.

5 To promote and make known the strengths, opportunities and
distinctive programs of the GSB
As for our Mission…….

To provide and develop competent interdisciplinary managers who are
ethically grounded, able to visualize the dynamics of industry, leverage
technology,within an international, multiculturally
diverse environments
So what is our strategy for the future?
We must continue to do what we are doing, but in addition, we must…….
1 Promote “active” MBA programs which give “on-the-job training to students”
2 Provide chances for students to experience multi-culturalism by welcoming a diversity of students
We must also……………..
3 Focus on ASEAN and ASEAN+3 and +6
4 Look beyond ASEAN, to expand our existing networks to other countries e.g., England, USA, Australia, France and Germany
5 Encourage students to visit and travel
to many countries especially Asian countries
We should market ourselves as an academic HUB where east and west
come together to promote transform and diversify learning
And we should do so in terms of our
Values, KnowledgeSkills + Morality
In conclusion, we wish to remain inspirational within our region
and beyond.
