The problem of water pollution bypesticides can be understood only incontext, as part of the whole to which itbelongs - the pollution of the totalenvironment of mankind. The pollutionentering our waterways comes from manysources: radioactive wastes from reactors,laboratories, hospitals, domestic wastesfrom cities, chemical wastes from factories.To these is added a new kind offallout -the chemical sprays applied to vegetables,fruits and crops in gardens, forests andfields.
