Movie Editing Screenshot In the first image you can see that Charlie has just started editing, at this point we have not added any affects, opening credits, ambient noises, or affects. We basically had the raw video of which this is only half. The second image shows the fully extracted video before cutting. For this we basically cut all the scenes roughly and made a video out of it. Next we will have to deal with continuity, as we cut the video down to the correct size. As our group went through the editing stages we made sure that we took screen shots of each stage. We took pictures of the raw video, editing, special effects and the final upload. We did this because we thought it would be useful to look back on.

In the first image you can see that Charlie has just started editing, at this point we have not added any affects, opening credits, ambient noises, or affects.

This next image shows us where we are at the point where we have finished trimming each scene and have started editing the cuts. This makes the video flow smoothly. We also had to make the video smoother. This basically made and camera jolts invisible.

Next we started to add noises to the film, we didn’t actually have any music but we overlaid natural ambient noises, just to make the scene more realistic. Charlie also started to fine tune his cuts by looking at them much closer on the editing bar.

Finally we started to add opening credits to the film, this made the sequence look more professional as if we were going to release it as a film. As a group we chose the font for the movie, we wanted to make this look professional and straight on, but also sinister. We decided that if we chose the font as a group we would be more happy with the final product.

Lastly I have an image of us uploading our video to YouTube. Basically after each member of our group had watched our movie, and we had checked for any slight errors we decided it was time to upload our video to the public.
