We are in the last stages of editing…
Here are a couple of our opening credits. We have decided to keep
a simplistic design to these particular titles because we think it creates the most effective mise-
en-scene for our opening sequence.
We kept the making of the titles until to the end, this way all of our footage would be more or less ready and we could slot in
the titles with more ease. For the other titles, we are going
to add different effects, but without being too over-the-top,
we still want our thriller to have a stylish but sinister opening.
We have used our own names as well as making some other names
for supporting actors/actresses etc.
We actually took great detail in making sure the other “members”
of our film (Crew & Actors/Actresses) were evenly
distributed (male/female roles), and also culturally different, this
reflects the names we have chosen. This is because
“Paperchain” is set in London, present day, therefore we want to
include, within the titles, some elements of London which
distinguish it from other places in the world, one of which is its diverse culture of inhabitants.
We created our made up distribution outlet in Adobe After Effects
It is called ‘Diamante Pictures’It has been spelt incorrectly in our opening, but I will change this.
These are the choices of effects we could use for the movement of the text…
