Steam distribution options

Large output from a single unitThe Condair EL is available with a singlecylinder for outputs up to 45kg/hr anda double cylinder model for outputs ofup to 90kg/hr. Up to four single unitscan be controlled on a master/slaveconfiguration for outputs up to180kg/hr.

Touch screen control panelAdvanced user interface offers detailedoperational control and diagnosticreporting. A USB connection allowsperformance data to be downloadedinto Excel, as well as software updatesto be loaded.

The Condair EL electrode boiler steamhumidifier provides hygienic steam for either in-duct or direct airhumidification.

Servicing is simple and quick throughreplacement of the steam cylinderwhen it becomes full of scale. The humidifier is rapidly returned tomaintaining humidity control.

The steam cylinders of the Condair ELlast up to three times longer thansimilar models due to advanced waterquality management and stagedelectrode use. The unit is easy to installand its touch screen controller makes itsimple to use.

Advanced water quality management extends cylinder life, whilst saving water and energy

The Condair EL’s steam cylinders last upto three times longer than other similarelectrode boilers’, reducing maintenanceand the cost of consumables.

Water conductivity managementConductivity levels in the steamcylinder are monitored to ensure themineral concentration of the waterremains at an optimal level.

When the conductivity of the waterbecomes too great, the precise volumeof water needed to reduce the minerallevel sufficiently is drained andreplaced with fresh water. This differsfrom other electrode boiler humidifiersthat use a timer controlled drain.

By intelligently monitoringconductivity, precisely controllingmineral levels and minimising waterdrainage, scale build-up is inhibited,extending the cylinder life, and waterconsumption is minimised, which inturn also reduces the energy needed toheat the fresh water.

Staged electrode useOnly the lower sections of theelectrodes are initially submerged inwater. As they become encrusted inscale, the water level rises to submergeclean electrodes. This staged approachto water level control ensures optimaltransfer of current to the waterthroughout the cylinder’s longoperational lifetime, without any dropin performance or efficiency.

Easy to serviceThe Condair EL informs the user when a cylinder is full of scale and needsreplacing. This is a simple and quickprocess of draining the unit, removingthe old cylinder and replacing it with anew one. This straightforwardmaintenance keeps downtime to aminimum and maintains humiditycontrol.

Operates on mains waterElectrode boiler humidifiers operate onmains water without any need for ROwater treatment. This simplifiesinstallation and reduces on-goingwater consumption.

A USB connection allows allperformance data to be recorded andexported into Excel for advanceddiagnostics. Upgrades to software canalso easily be made via the USB port.

BMS connectivity is included asstandard with Modbus RTU, BACnet IPand BACnet MSTP master or slavemode. Optionally BACnet IP certified,MSTP certified or LonWorks certifiedcan be installed.
