PTF IBSB Social Events

Our vision

� The IBSB PTF is created to support and enhance the

education of IBSB students through school life and

events involving Parents, Teachers, and Friends!

� The IBSB PTF is developing a series of multicultural events

to make children understand better our world and be

prepared for their life journey

Back to school

� Children were welcomed in the new year in a

memorable way for their entire life

� All 350 children had a personal memory as the panel was used for the first day of school, but as

well for the each class group photo

Diwali

� With the help of our Indian community we

have presented for the first time to the children in the school, in adapted way for each Key

Stage groups the concept of Diwali, its meaning and the custom for this day.

� All children received leaflets and bookmarks

explaining the event.

Hannukah

� With the help of our Jewish community we have

organized workshops for the children in all Primary to understand how it is celebrated in Israel or by its

community around the globe and what it means.

� All children received leaflets and bookmarks explaining the event.

Halloween Party

� PTF has organized the Halloween party

where we celebrated the winners and participants in our Pumpkins and Costumes

contests

� All winners received gifts and diplomas

� Sponsor: PTF for the gifts

Saint Nick Brunch @ Sheraton

� Opportunity to socialize, IBSB PTF organized the

event where Children enjoyed being with their friends and the gifts received

� Sponsor: PTF (for the gifts)

Il Presepio

� Children organized an exhibition with Il Presepio from the eyes of the entire

world. Great work done by all.

� Also, all of them had the chance to taste the traditional Panetone

� Sponsor: PTF and GRANO

Chinese new year

� 400 leaflets and 400 bookmarks for Chinese New Year

� Catering to taste Chinese traditional food for this event

� Materials for the workshops around the school

� All events were communicated in the school weekly

newsletter, going to more than 600 people – parents and teachers

Martisor event

� 400 leaflets and 400 bookmarks for Martisor

� More than 1000 photos for children with BCR logo on the frame

� Cake pops for all children

� 4 workshops with all school – making Martisors, greeting cards, canvas and painting ceramics

� School event to celebrate 8th f March

� All events were communicated in the school weekly newsletter, going to more than 600 people – parents and teachers

World Book Day

� 400 leaflets and 1200 bookmarks for World Book Day (4

bookmarks for each child)

� 3 Authors invited to talk about the books and how a book it’s made – Stan Cullimore, Carmen Tinderle and Claudia

Marinescu

� All events were communicated in the school weekly

newsletter, going to more than 600 people – parents and teachers

Easter Eggs Competition

� All children in Primary participated in our

contest to design the best traditional or funny eggs.

Saint George’s Day - organized by Light Into Europe

� British community celebrated the St George’s

day in an event where the children from school read poems and had the chance to

understand the purpose of Light Into Europe

Sports Day @ Lia Manoliu Stadium

� Celebrating sport in a day where all three houses

are competing

� PTF together with Teachers and School staff organized the schedule, activities and sponsors

to ensure we have refreshments, equipment, fruits & yoghurts, coffee for adults

� Sponsors: Tchibo, Mega Image, Danonino, Sunwavepharma, Borsec

Pool Party @ Club Daimon

� Celebrating summer season

� PTF together with Teachers and School staff

organized the event, including pool activities for children – 37 people participating

� Sponsors: PTF - for the pool props

Summer Show

� Every year for the summer show the PTF is

contributing with the buffet and with various sponsors or partners to ensure a great event

for all

� Children and Teachers are preparing a great show

� IBSB community has a big sport community

and we are willing to endorse our key partners sponsoring our events.
