The UniRex® URC

The advantage of the UniRex® URC lies in the robust and simpleconstruction.ibW supplies three products for the batch operation.

The machine elements that get in contact with the product are

available in 1.4301, 1.4404 and 1.4571.

The stator of the UniRex® URC mixers is either available in a hose pipe,

at three guiding shafts made of round bars or directly fixed at the

mounting flange.

The first two designs are for installation into the vessel from above or to

be lowered into an open or closed vessel. Both designs are available for

without pressure as well as under pressure operations and/or vacuum

respectively. For this purpose, there are various types of seals and sealunits with thermo siphon system available.

Optionally, the UniRex® URC mixers are offered

RotoRex ®

Pilot Beam Mixer

The operational area ranges from liquid to very viscous media,the special advantage is:

Technical Structure:

Depending on requirement profile, ibW works with or withoutstorage (PTFE support bearing) and seal in dip part. Therefore, the

RotoRex® Pilot Beam Mixer is applicable without any problems

also with strongly abrasive products. Depending on design, two

different series are available. With the standard version, the turbine

is led by three round bars. For products with an easy and fast

cleaning requirement, the turbine is hold by a shaft pipe. In this

shaft pipe, special seals between stator and agitator wave are set.

Thus, the penetration of the media between shank pipe and drive

shaft is prevented. All product-affected parts of theRotoRex® Pilot

Beam Mixer consist of 1.4301 alternatively of 1.4404 or 1.4571.

Side Entry Mixer TurboRex® DRSKThe economical and professional solution for big vessels

The TurboRex® Side Entry Mixers

are designed for extensive mixing tasks in big vessels. Due to the side entry,an efficient performance is achieved and the work process simplified. In

addition, the bottom and top areas remain free.

Due to the short mixing shaft, the bending

strain remains low and thus the mixer can be

equipped with a smaller dimension. The asy-

mmetric flow enables to do without a flow

blocker.

Vessels with big diameter and relatively low

height, several mixers are attached outer

mantle of the vessel at a certain radial angle.

Thus, sediments are avoided to greater

extend.

Various sizes of mantling flanges enable the

usage with various vessel types. In combi-

TurboRex® – DRSKSide Entry Mixer by ibW

The high quiet running typical for ibW Mixers are achieved by reinforced and encased bearings and stablesteel bearing bars.

In order to meet any kind of mixing demands, there are different kinds of mixing elements. Optionally axialface seal for the side entry fitting is available. This has the entry directly at the fitting flange and thus thechange of the axial face seal is fast and easy. Via an additionally available standstill seal, the axial face sealcan be replaced with full vessel.

Components that get in contact with the product are made of stainless steel 1,4301or 1,4571. For usagewith aggressive products, it is possible to coat the components that get in contact with the product withhard rubber (Emoxit).

The standard paint of all mixers is RAL 6011, Reseda green; other colors can be used at request.

There is a choice of 2-pole, 4-pole, and 6-pole IEC motors, in general produced in IP54. Optionally it canbe produced in IP55 with Ex-protection in Eexell-T3 or EEXdell-T4.

TurboRex® Two-Hand MixersType DRH with rotary current gear / type DRHL with pneumatic gear

The TurboRex® Hand Mixer From the series DRH and DRHL are all purpose mixers which are

designable to be fitted for special mixing dispersing applications.

For the gear there are the rotary current gear and pneumatic gear alterna-tives. Depending on the field of application, the rotary current gear can bedelivered in Ex- or Exd-Design.

The two handles on the sides enable an easy operation. The mantle of the rotary currentgear can be equipped with an on/off switch with a CEE-plug. All gears are fitted with areinforced and encased bearings. For heavy industrial usage, all mixers can be equipped

with an additional bearing. Thus, the mixer shaft is protected from damages in roughhandling and the shaft length can be extended to 1000 mm in total.

Optionally we offer an integrated 300 mm protection bushing for the shaft.

In order to meet any kind of mixing demands, there are different kinds of mix-ing elements.

TurboRex® – DRHLTwo-Hand Mixer with pneumatic gear

TurboRex® – DRHPLSingle-Hand Mixer with pneumatic gun mixer

All pneumatic motors used are special gears for mixing. The free movable blades are adjusted automaticallyin case of wear out.

The inlet and outlet air supply is via a screw thread connection based on inch at the housing of the gear.Optionally, a locking screw can be integrated to enable a continuous control of the speed. For the exhaustair damping there are various sound absorbers available.

The TurboRex® DRHPL is equipped with a robust industrial pneumatic gun motor with aplanetary gear. The mixing shaft is connected directly to the shaft.

With a switch, the model DRHPL-10 can be switched to left or right revolving.The pressure meter at the handle of the gun enables a continuous regulation of the speed.For both models, a second handle option is possible.

Container and Barrel Agitators

With the ibW TurboRex® DRF the medium can be mixed directly in a

60-220 litre barrel through the bunghole. The mounting flange is equip-

ped with two lifting handles. The reinforced and enclosed bearingsensure a long service life. All barrel agitators are equipped with a folding

propeller type KP125 as a standard feature. The mounting flange, shaft

and agitator unit are made of stainless steel type 1.4301. Special mate-

rials are available upon request.

Container Agitators Typ TurboRex® DRC and DRGCWith the ibW TurboRex® DRC/GC container agitators the medium can be mixed directly in 500

- 2,500 litre containers. A support mount with reinforced and enclosed bearings and a support

frame are available as accessoires and recommended for each agitator.

All agitators are available as fast-running (DRC) and slow-running (DRGC) versions and fitted

with a propeller type P150 as a standard feature. Other agitator units are available upon request.

On the standard version the shaft and agitator are made of stainless steel type 1.4301. Special

materials are, however, available upon request.

Various agitator securing fittings are available

for different container types. Various support

frames and a threaded seal are also available.

The threaded seal can be supplied with a sup-

port mount.
