Peer Support
Yesterday students in Years 5 and 6 had an enjoyable day of peer support training. This year the format was changed to include more interactive activities at school. Thanks to Mrs Vines for organising the day and to Mrs Jessett, Mr Marzinotto and Mrs Peart for organising activities and to Mr Skinner for organising the BBQ. Whole school peer support will commence on May 29.
Soccer Congratulations to our girls’ soccer team who played Woolgoolga PS in today’s PSSA Knockout round. Although going down 1-4 Mr M reported that all girls played well and never gave up.

School Banking day is WEDNESDAY
It was wonderful to see 10 students who made a deposit last week, which is the most deposits I have seen so far this year…so Well Done to those students and parents who are committed to regular saving, and in turn, a great fundraiser for our school. Our school receives a Regular Savers Contribution of $5 for every 10 deposits processed per student.
So, for those students who are new or regular to school banking, a friendly reminder on Wednesdays you need to hand in your deposit book into the tray situated in the office first thing in the morning. For every deposit made at school, students receive one silver Dollarmites token. Once students have individually collected 10 tokens they can redeem them for an exclusive School Banking reward item in recognition of their regular savings habits and they will receive their reward as the next school assembly.
If you would like to know more about School Banking, please ask for a 2019 School Banking program information pack from the school office or visit commbank.com.au/schoolbanking
