BACKGROUND

My name is Sarah Njoki Macharia and I am a business consultant operating in the geographical regions of Kenya and Africa. I help business in Kenya and Africa and subsequently in other parts of the world, achieve their objectives, faster, easier and with more grace using simple methods and common sense approaches.

Physical Exercise

I carry out regular physical exercises. My regime usually involves :

Brisk walking

Sessions involving lunges, twists, bends, lifts, squats, sit-ups, press-ups.

Stretching and Deep Breathing [Yoga]

Brisk Walking

I take thirty [30] minute walks two or three times a week.

Brisk walking involves quick, thrust of the legs together with the rigorous swinging of the arms back and forth

Brisk walking benefits the heart, lungs and brain together with other limbs and muscles.

It carries great benefits for maintaining healthy blood pressure

Lunges, Twists, Bends, Squats, Lifts, Sit-ups,

Press-upsLunges shape and tone thigh muscles, strengthen the coreTwists shape and tone the stomach and abdomen muscles. Leg lifts shape and tone thigh and buttock muscles. Sit-ups shape and firm stomach muscles.

Stretching and Breathing [Yoga]

I do ten [10] minutes of Yoga every day

Various stretching positions synchronized with deep breathing work on body muscles to make them firmer.

Yoga positions can benefit, one, two, three or more muscles in single movement.

Physical exercise and Yoga leave me with more physical energy.

Physical exercise and Yoga relax my mind and I am more alert for the tasks ahead of me

I am happier and have a greater sense of fulfilment which I easily transfer to my tasks and my clients.

My energy is replenished and I feel restored and mentally strong for my professional tasks

Physical exercise and Yoga requires one to organize their schedule and to commit to it. To follow-up no matter how many excuses one can come up with-

I hit three birds with one stone-I grow mentally by perfecting the art of commitment, endurance and leadership

I feel and look good

And I savor the wins- I am grateful and my sense of gratitude is ever stronger

I observe and study my client's mental and physical conditions.

I am able to make a point to include tips for great mental and physical health in my consulting assignments
