Some were by the boat ramp and some others elsewhere in the area. A deputy advised he had spoken to various campers and they were complying.Sunday, July 23, 20171039 A Valley County officer advised he had a couple vehicles going over 90 mph from the Sleeping Buffalo turnoff headed east on Hwy. 2. He was able to stop the Washington pickup, but the white SUV he locked in at 96 mph, he wasn’t able to get. It may have had out-of-state plates. The officer said there was a lot of traffic on Hwy. 2 going over 90 mph. MHP dispatch was notified.1119 RC dispatch requested a deputy to assist their officer in trying to find suspects in a burglary place. A deputy will respond.1131 A Glasgow female requested to speak with an officer. She said she was getting more harassing texts from a male. She said this was the third time she had reported him to an officer. An officer was given the caller’s number.1208 A deputy requested a CFS be started for vehicle theft. At 12:16 p.m., the deputy reported that the vehicle had been located north of Wolf Point and it had been burned up. All the contents were lost. A Wolf Point officer will take over this investigation and believes he already has a suspect in custody. No need to enter it into NCIC.1302 A Fort Peck male advised sometime during the night someone used what he thinks was a pickup to pull up some of the wood posts around the playground at the Pines Shelter House. He said he texted a F&G officer and a deputy about it. 1527 A Fort Peck female reported a black Chevy Monte Carlo zipping in and out of traffic. She advised the vehicle went to pass them on a hill and they had to slam on their brakes so the suspect vehicle could get back in their lane so they wouldn’t hit an oncoming vehicle head on. She was willing to write out a statement. A deputy advised that the male suspect was supposedly out on a boat at the dredge cuts. The deputy will be clear but will be remaining in the area for awhile.2009 A Nashua female stated they had a flat tire and had been trying to change it for a while, but can’t get it off. She has her 3-year-old there as well as her brother and boyfriend. A deputy advised that there was a lug nut that was stripped, so they were leaving the vehicle there tonight and will take care of it tomorrow. Her father was enroute from Poplar to pick them up. The vehicle was off the road and wasn’t a hazard.Monday, July 24, 20171501 A dead bat was found laying outside at Glasgow,
possibly foaming at the mouth, but they can’t tell because it was dried up. A female was patched up with someone from the Health Department, who advised the bat was negative.1603 The John Rogenes place was reporting a brush fire in the CRP field. Richland, St. Marie and Nashua fire departments were paged. Daniels County was also sending people. By 5:17 p.m., Daniel’s County advised Richland, St. Marie and Nashua could return home as they had the fire under control and were in mop up. A neighbor wanted to speak with a deputy or fire marshall as half of his pasture was burned up.1637 A fire was reported north of Nashua, which was the same fire from the call No. 1603 at the Rogenes place. 1703 A Glasgow female requested a card be started for a scam, and advised a deputy would fill it in tomorrow.1743 A Glasgow male advised a female was on her way to the PD to report that he won’t give her her stuff out of the house that they shared. He said he will not give her her stuff back until she pays the $200 for rent she owes him. This information was given to a deputy as well in case she went to their office. 2306 An alarm company gave an address as being in Wolf Point. It turned out to be a false alarm and was at a Frazer address.Tuesday, July 25, 20170556 A Glasgow caller reported a brush fire about 11 to 12 miles northwest of Cal Shipp’s place, then said it was 13 miles northwest of Glasgow. At 6:37 a.m., they were in mop up.0829 A Valley County female reported a one-vehicle accident with a lone occupant who was standing outside his vehicle. The airbag had been deployed. An undersheriff and a deputy responded. The eastbound lane was open by 9:01 a.m.0927 A Glasgow female reported that a dog had escaped again. They were both at work. An officer was notified.1949 A Valley County female was activating a test for the Health Department. 2019 A one-vehicle accident occurred in Glasgow – one occupant. Unknown if she was injured, but no one was saying they didn’t want an ambulance. At 8:38 p.m., a one-vehicle accident was reported on the top of Jensen Trail above the bowling alley. He advised there was someone inside, but didn’t know if they needed an ambulance or not. The female was complaining of chest pains and was rather incoherent. She was out in a field. An ambulance was paged.Wednesday, July 26, 20170943 A Fort Peck female from the Fort Peck Marina called to advise a woman bumped a vehicle with her trailer and wasn’t sure if she needed to have it investigated. A deputy and a trooper went to the scene. Contact insurance information was exchanged. The owner of the vehicle can come in to the PD to fill out a form if the damage was over $500.1237 A Glasgow female received a call from someone saying they
were the IRS and were putting out a warrant for her arrest and gave her a number to call back. She hung up on them and called the number. They said it was the IRS, and when she asked if it was a scam, they hung up on her. She didn’t give any of her personnel information.1449 A St. Marie male advised about another male who was afraid of another male, so if the officer tried to speak with one of them, he couldn’t be around. A deputy was notified.1525 A teller from First Community Bank reported a pickup pulling a large camper hit the underpass and then turned on 1st Ave. S. by Valley Bank. She thinks it may have stopped, but can’t see past the bank. An officer was notified. The caller advised there was debris on the roadway.1730 A Glasgow female reported water rushing into her basement from an unknown source. She was patched up with the water department.1836 A St. Marie male asked to speak with a deputy about someone stealing the lug nuts out of his dad’s vehicle in front of an address at St. Marie. He said it happened a couple days ago. They got it fixed today. He was patched up with a deputy.1852 A Glasgow female reported a dog in a car with all the windows up in the parking lot at the Cottonwood. She said it was a gold Subaru sitting under a tree next to a Jeep. An officer went to the scene and advised the windows were cracked about 2 inches and the dog had a bowl of water and the vehicle was in the shade.2000 A Glasgow female reported a man laying in the middle of the road. He got up and was walking
toward the Ridgerunners. He was wearing a baseball cap, a white shirt, blue jeans and had a drink cup in his hand. She asked if he was okay and he said he was, but she was concerned with him laying in the road. 2031 A citation was issued for a parking violation.2259 A Valley County female requested a bar walk. There were some sketchy people in there. Dispatch called the caller back and she closed the bar after the people left. There was no further need for a bar walk-through.2300 A Glasgow jailer requested a deputy for a prisoner that was going off about a book or something. Dispatch saw this prisoner rip the television from the wall and smash it on the floor.Thursday, July 27, 20170212 A Glasgow male called to report someone standing right in the middle of the road. He thought they might be intoxicated and maybe trying to talk to someone. Per an officer, some people will be taking the person home to his residence with his roommate.1240 A Glasgow female called in and reported she thought someone was living in a condemned house. The police chief was advised.1242 A Glasgow female called in and reported a large brown dog was laying on the road at a Glasgow location. She believed that he may be injured.1334 A Wolf Point couple are having grazing issues with personnel from YDOC Corporation.1500 A warrant was served on one adult female in Glasgow.1617 An officer advised they were at a residence for violation of a protection order.
