I started using Norwex fell in love immediately and soon after came to realise that I wanted others to know all about these products as well This came at the right time for me as I was looking at finding a top-up job but never found anything that I was passionate about On the 31st of August 2016 my journey with Norwex began The beginning was slow and I doubted that I would have much success but with training and support from my upline Lisa Peacock my confidence and knowledge increased and so did my party bookings I was 9th in sales in Australia in December 4th in January 1st in February I then successfully recruited and became a Team Leader In March I qualified for Goal 5 in Go For The Goal ndash the Trip to Africa

To top it all off Irsquove just found out I achieved 1st in sales in Australia again in March Wow I would never have believed it possible My love for Norwex is bigger than ever as I see firsthand the transformation with my Customers once they learn how to turn their homes into safe havens Itrsquos amazing what I have been able to achieve in just over six months with Norwex whilst still working my other job at least 3 days a week If yoursquore doubting yourself as I was in the beginning then I encourage you to dream big ndash if I can do it surely you can too

When did you join Norwex and what inspired you to become a Consultant

November 2010 Honestly I felt inspired after watching Marisha Kassey take off her makeup with the Body Cloth and thought WOW I need to be part of this company because that cloth is AMAZING

How has being part of Norwex changed your life and the lives of your family This is easy to answer The main thing Norwex has done for my family is to allow me to stay home with my 3 beautiful kids which means I dont have to put them into care I have made life-long friendships through Norwex too and Ill forever be indebted

What have been your major achievements in your Norwex career

2 things all the free tripshellip I mean WOW and the Team Ive built I NEVER in a million years thought Id have a Team as big as I do working beside me for the same cause Its so liberating

Hawaii was very special for me because I got to drive a Corvette for the first time lol kidding although that was pretty cool Hawaii was EXTRA special because it was my Honeymoon I was ecstatic that I earned the trip for free for me AND my husband Ben How many people can say they worked their way to an all expenses paid Honeymoon in Hawaii

Over the last few years Irsquove seen a number or articles and reports about the dangers of microfibre breaking down and ending up in our oceans Wersquove all heard about the damage that plastic microbeads can do and these have been banned in a number of countries around the world so of course wersquore aware of the potential damage that tiny synthetic fibres can do

In case you havenrsquot seen these articles online the potential damage from microfibres in our oceans is very similar to microbeads ndash as the microfibres break down theyrsquore not filtered by our water treatment plants and end up in our waterways where they can then work their way up the food chain Nearly all of these articles refer to synthetic fabrics used in clothing - dress shirts yoga pants fleeces and even underwear are all increasingly made of synthetic material and in comparison the number of microfibre cloths used worldwide doesnrsquot really compare

At Norwex we are of course aware of recent concerns regarding plastic particles from microfibre and fleece textiles potentially entering waterways during normal washing

While Norwex Microfibre itself has not been identified as a potential source of these tiny particles we are naturally concerned and will continue along with the rest of the textile industry to research the issue and determine next steps

PH Bit of everything really be it testing the new NCO system through to answering support tickets and calls from our Consultants There is no lack of variety thatrsquos for sure

RP What do you love about working at Norwex Home Office as a part of the Consultant Care Centre team

PH Most definitely the people I get to work with every day Itrsquos so refreshing to be part of a genuinely caring Team of people that also know how to have a laugh

RP What were you doing before joining NorwexPH Originally looking after tenants and property

managers for one of the largest Smoke Alarm compliance companies in Australia I utilised my technology studies to transition into the IT department
