Iggy the penguin

It would soon be Christmas but Iggy was sad because he wanted to see his Mum on Christmas Day. So he decided to go and try and find her.

He packed a bag and set off on his way in the cold snow to find his mum.

Iggy arrived at a dark forest where the trees looked scary!!.

All of the sudden Iggy felt something grab him! He was very scared he didn't know what to do?

Out of nowhere came a reindeer with a bright red nose. He helped Iggy get away from the nasty tree. Iggy asked the reindeer "What are you called?" The reindeer replied "red nose."

Iggy told red nose he was trying to find his mum for Christmas Day. Red nose said he could take him to Santa and he would be able to tell him where his mum was..........so off they went.

After along walk they finally arrived at santa's grotto. They told Santa they were trying to find Iggy's mum.

Santa looked into his magic bauble and said "Iggy your mum lives over the mountain at the igloo with the red door."

Iggy and Red Nose set off. Iggy was so excited to see his mum and it was nearly Christmas Day as well. They finally arrived and knocked at the igloo with the red door!.........................

The door opened and Iggy's mum was so happy to see her baby that she cried . Iggy was the happiest penguin in the world he didn't need presents because money couldn't buy hugs and kisses and feeling loved by mum.

Mum, Iggy and Red Nose had the best Christmas ever.
