THE BAZAAR: A GREAT SUCCESS

The great success of our Bazaar is to see, live and share as a great family that unites and or-ganizes with one objective: to serve God and our Parish. We are a family rich in talents and blessings. The celebration of the 60th year of the founding of the Parish is a special oppor-tunity to reflect and recognize that together and with God’s help we can do things that we once thought were impossible to accomplish. We all feel happy and thankful for what we all did together for this Bazaar 2015; our bodies got tired, but our hearts were gladdened to see

our house full of friends and visitors who enjoyed our Kermes and we tended to them with love and joy. God was with us, he filled us with his spirit of harmony and granted us a nice time. Both nights of the Kermes went off without incident; no one was hurt; we were all at the highest level of commitment to serve well and peacefully. The results of this Bazaar leaves us with big lessons that will help us to program and realize new and different celebrations and activities: 1. Daily strengthen more our sense of belonging, “we are all St. Pius X”. Together we form this great community. 2. We are a large community with many ministries and services that are an incalculable richness so we can do great and beneficial things for the good of this community. 3. St. Pius X has been, is, and will be a community leader, where innovative projects have been forged and cutting edge services have given inspiration to other parishes. 4. The major richness and potential of the community is its people, the ministries and the congregation that participate and support the celebrations and activities of the Parish. 5. We received from our founders a vision, a mission and a goal to be a community that hosts, serves, and shares the joy of believing in God and testifies to our faith through good works; it’s a story to be written, done and lived. Finally, thanks to all the organizers, servers and donors for their valuable help and confidence that with everyone’s efforts and God’s help what we received was multiplied. Now we are going to start on the construction of the arches, the buying of the house at 1049 N. Clark, security cameras, repairing the restrooms in the church and the buildings and give some help to our St. Pius X School. UN GRAN EXITO LA KERMES

El gran exito de nuestra Kermes es ver, vivir y compartir como una gran familia, que se une y organiza con un solo objetivo: servir a Dios y a nuestra Parroquia. Somos una familia rica en talentos y bendiciones. La celebracion de este 60 Aniversario es una a fundacion de la Parroquia, son una oportunidad especial para reflexionar y reconocer, que juntos y con la ayuda de Dios po-demos hacer cosas que creiamos imposibles de lograr. Todos nos sentimos contentos y agradecidos por lo que juntos hicimos en esta Kermes 2015, se nos canso el cuerpo pero se nos alegro el corazon, al ver la casa llena de amigos y visitantes, que disfrutaron de nuestra Kermes y los atendimos con amor y alegria. Dios estuvo con nosotros, nos impreno de su espiritu de armonia y nos concedio un bonito tiempo. Las dos noches de la Kermes transcurrieron sin el menos incidente, nadie se lastimo, todos estuvimos a la altura de nuestro compromiso de servir bien y en paz. Los resultados de esta Kermes nos dejan grandes ensenanzas que nos serviran para programar y realizar nuevas y diferentes celebraciones y actividades: 1. Fortalecer cada dia mas el sentido de pertenencia, "todos somos San Pio X" juntos formamos esta gran comunidad. 2. Somos una comunidad grande, con muchos ministrios y servicios, que son la riqueza incalculable para lograr hacer grandes y beneficiosas cosas en bien de esta comunidad. 3. San Pio X, ha sido, es y sera una comunidad lider, inovado- ra, donde se han frojado proyectos y servicios de vaguardia que han servido de inspiracion a otras Parroquias. 4. La mayor riqueza y potencial de la comunidad son su gente, los ministerios y la feligresia, que participa y apoya las cele- raciones y actividades de la Parroquia. 5. Recibimos de los fundadores una vision, mision y meta de ser una comunidad que acoge, sirve y comparte la alegria de creer en Dios y testimoniar nuestra fe en buenas obras; es una historia siempre por escribir, hacer y vivir. Finalmente gracias a todos los organizadores, servidores y dona- dores por su valiosa ayuda y confianza en que con el esfuerzo de todos y la ayuda de Dios se multiplico lo que recibimos. Ahora vamos a comenzar la construccion de los Arcos, la compra de una casa en el 1049 N. Clark, camaras de seguridad, reparacion en los banos del templo y de los edificios y daremos una ayuda a la Escuela St. Pio X. NEW PROJECTS FOR THE PARISH! St. Pius is a community in constant projection thanks to the dynamism and participation of its leaders and congregation. These projects will begin soon: 1. Construction of the Arches on the St. Pius X Plaza 2. Buying the house at 5049 N. Clark 3. Installation of Security Cameras in the church and buildings 4. Fixing the restroom in the church 5. Maintenance of various buildings 6. Equipping rooms with tables and chairs 7. Installation of the Internet System, telephone and antennas from Time Warder for the office, temple and buildings.

All this is possible thanks to your invaluable help.

NUEVOS PROYECTO PARA LA PARROQUIA! San Pio es una comunidad en constante proyeccion. gracias al dinamismo y participacion de sus lideres y feligreses. Pope Frances recently published the encyclical LAUDA-TO SI, PRAISE BE THE LORD! Where he insist on the care of our common home . We need to take care of it and act responsibly for the things that God created for the ben-efit of all. This Sunday we will offer a prayer in English and in Spanish that Bishop Mark J. Seitz sent us to be prayed in the church and in families homes for the care of the Earth.

ORACION POR EL CUIDADO DE LA TIERRA

El Papa Francisco publico recientemente la enciclica LAUDATO SI, ALABADO SEA SENOR ! donde nos insta a cuidar nuestra casa comun. A cuidarla y a actuar con responsabilida antes las cosas que Dios creo para ser-vicio de todos. Este Domingo ofrecemos una oracion en ingles y espanol que nos envio el Obispo Mark J. Saitz, para que la hagamos en el templo y en familia, por el cuidado de la tierra.

ASAMBLEA PARROQUIAL El 14, 15 y 16 de Octubre de 6:30 pm. a 9:00 pm. tendremos nuestra Asamblea Parroquial, en el Salon Comunitario. El Fr. Saul Pacheco, estara con nosotros guiando las reflexiones de estos dias y el Coro Nazareth nos ayudara con alabanzas y dinamicas de grupo. Estan invitados todos los lideres de minis-terios, las personas que estan en los ministerios y quienes tengan la intension de ingresar a algunos de los ministerios. Es el momento de realizar el cambio de lideres y dar un nuevo comienzo en el servicio a la comunidad. Oremos por el exito de esta Asamblea Parroquial.

PARISH ASSEMBLY We will have our Parish Assembly on October 14, 15, and 16 from 6:30 pm. to 9:00 pm. in the Community Center. Fr. Saul Pacheco will be guiding the reflections on these days and Coro Nazareth will help with praise and worship. All ministry lead-ers, ministry members and anyone interested in joining a minis-try are invited. This is the time to carry out the change in lead-ership and begin anew the service to the community. Pray for the success of the Parish Assembly.
