networks concerned to participate and play an active role….

-Implementation of the UNECE 1992 “Helsinki”
Water Convention on transboundary
rivers-specificity of the implementation of the European Water Framework Directive
in International Districts
2-Achieve a good ecological status of European water bodies by 2015
-Full implementation of the European Water framework Directive and its daughter Directives on groundwater, marine water and flood management.
3-Adapt to long term water challenges linked to Climate Change and prevent extreme phenomena:

Prevention and management of flood risk,•
Prevention and management of water scarcity and drought risk, •
demand management, non conventional resources…•
Measures for adaptation to the effects of Climate Change,such as green infrastructures …,
