My Dear Inner Wheel friends,
Warm Greetings to you for the month of March. I am here to showcase the Activities of District
through this issue of INNER LINK. With March comes the International Women’s day on 8th
March. Every day is a great day to celebrate the amazing women in our life, but International
Women's Day gives us an extra reason to do just that. It encourages all people to actively choose
to "celebrate women's achievements, raise awareness about women's equality, and lobby for
accelerated gender parity. It started in 1908, with 15,000 women taking to the streets in New
York City demanding greater equality, less oppressive working conditions, shorter hours, better
pay and voting rights for women.
District 313 has done very good projects to lend the helping hand to women in distress and
empower girls to become strong and happy women of tomorrow! I must say that we women are
fierce, bold and daring, also the best when it comes to Caring. I wish you all a happy women's
day.
March also celebrates International World Wildlife Day, International Day of Happiness, World
Down Syndrome Day. So let us join hands to save wild life and save Environment,. Lets all lend
our helping hand to the persons with Down’s Syndrome and let us all strive for HAPPINESS of all the people on this globe.
March also celebrates Holi, the festival of Colours. May God paint the canvas of your life with the
most beautiful colours, may he sprinkle peace, luck, success and joy for you on every step you
take!
Friends District 313 Conference Anubhooti was accomplished on grand scale on 16th March 2021
in the August presence of Association President Vasudha Chandrachud on digital Platform of
Zoom. I will covering it in my next issue of INNER LINK of April 2021. Till then…

Dear friends
Warm Greetings!
Every day, when I look at all the wonderful work going around me through our organization, I feel
fortunate to be the chosen one. Chosen as a leader of Inner Wheel in this pandemic year. Every day, I
thank god for choosing me to be his toughest warrior. It strengthens my belief that I am not ordinary.
It gives me energy and enthusiasm to put my creativity to work and try to do things that were never
thought of or done before.
We have just had our District Conference Anubhooti online. A year back we could not imagine that any
such thing can be possible. It happened because each one of you could adapt, adopt and lead the
change. Each one of you has emerged as winners in first half of the year. I'm sure we all will maintain
the same momentum in the second half of the year.
I wish you all the beautiful and achieving women a happy women’s Day!
Friends Holi the “festival of colors” is just round the corner. Let you all enjoy the rainbow of colours, fill
your hearts with love, warmth and care for your loved ones and for those who need your helping
hand.
I wish you all a happy and safe Holi! Save trees and save Environment !!

Club Activities of ZONE I
IWC Panvel IT & IWC Pen, donated 10 fans
Aai Day Care Centre for mentally challenged
IWC Manchar donated 5 temperature
guns, vit. C tabs, masks to students,
teachers to MG School
IWC of Karjat arranged a free blood test camp for all the
citizens of Karjat for test of blood Sugar, CBC , LFT, RFT,
PSA, CA-125 , HB- electrophoresis, thyroid, ferritin, CRP.
150 people took the benefit of this camp.
Projects of all 11 IW Clubs of Zone I
11 IW clubs of zone I with DC Anuradha, ZC PDC Savithri, ZSC Sushma conducted the projects of a) 10 Placards displaying thoughts
about being " good citizens " were handed over to *Prajanbodhini School* for their display in the school. B) food- grains and 10 water
bowls given for birds and 20 neem trees planted at the Oxygen Park at Talegaon. Plus oath was taken to protect mother Vasundhara.
C) 50 blankets and 50 first-aid kits for Kinara Vrudhashram. D) 45 sets of towel and hand towel, soaps, toothpastes, chocolates and
few first-aid kits for orphans of leprosy centre and 5 kits of blankets and first-aid kits for senior citizens at Udyogdham, leprosy
centre . E) 25 blankets and 25 sheets for needy farmers' boys' hostel, Gurukul f) Inauguration of library consisting of over 700 books,
created by IWC Talegaon Dabhade was done by DC Anuradhaji and Zonal coordinator Savitriji at Gurukul Hostel. 150 more books were
added by two clubs of zone-1 to the library.
