STIC / HSIN ADOBE CONNECT ROOMS For planned events or disasters, STIC will open a “chatroom” on the Homeland Security Intelligence Network and run it on the Adobe Connect platform. The requesting agency can be given “Host” access that allows them to invite whom they wish to join the room. This room may be occupied by other 1 st response disciplines like Fire, EMS, EMA and similar. To request that a room be set up, contact the Statewide Terrorism & Intelligence Center (STIC) (877) 455-7842 and ask for the watch officer. They will provide you with a hyperlink to the room once they deem it appropriate and open the room. They will ask who they should grant Host privileges to in order for that designee to be able to grant access to those involved in the event. It is highly recommended that you be vetted through Homeland Security Intelligence Network (HSIN) To receive access, please email your contact information to [email protected] Once your background has been completed, your information will be forwarded to HSIN. They in turn will send you an in-depth application document and then grant you access. Once STIC opens a room, you will receive a hyperlink to that room. Click that link and log on with your HSIN Username and password. STIC is the administrator for the room and one of the Hosts will grant you access after verifying you as an authorized participant. Once you enter, you will see this view.
