Accelerated and Sustainable Anti-Poverty Program
(ASAPP)
Goal To significantly reduce
poverty incidence in a sustainable manner
Target LGUs in Iloilo
• Passi City• Concepcion• Pototan• Tigbauan
ASAPP Implementation• Salubungan – both private sector and the
government shall endeavor to provide employment opportunities for the poorest of the poor
• Government to identify its programs, projects and activities for the poor households.
Salubungan Outcomes
SMEs identified the issues and bottlenecks that hamper their expansion and brought them to the concerned NGAs and LGUs on site.
NGAs, LGUs and SMEs pledged 9,295 employment opportunities for the poor in the pilot municipalities
Non-employing NGAs, LGUs, and SMEs identified their support activities to help the poor.
