food items were donated over the Thanksgiving holiday

weekend to the Church’s “Food for all” initiative. The items

were delivered to CALL and OUR Home food pantries and

will be distributed to help feed the hungry of our area. Thank

you to everyone who donated the items and helped load and

deliver them. I.C. parish continues to work toward Pope

Congratulations to the following students for earning

Pizza with the Principal: Avery Stachler (4th grade), Bridget

Fullenkamp (5th grade), and Ava Knapke (6th grade). We are

proud of your hard work, kindness to others, and responsible

attitude throughout the school year. Keep it up!

Our 6th graders taught us last month about St. Isidore

during a faith assembly. We learned that St. Isidore is the

patron saint of farmers and he was a very hard worker.

Isidore’s life was a model of Christian perfection. He and his

wife were very charitable and always willing to help their

neighbors in distress. They also taught us about another life

skill: “Begin With the End in Mind.” When we plan ahead

and set goals for ourselves, we can stay focused on those

goals and hopefully reach them!

We also celebrated Thanksgiving with our school

families. After our school Thanksgiving Mass in which we

learned about the 10 lepers, we gathered as school family

groups and shared in some activities before we enjoyed a

delicious Thanksgiving feast which included the traditional

fixings and great company! We have so much to be thankful

for!

Thank you to everyone who attended the I.C. Dinner

Auction on Nov. 4. The evening was a huge success and we

were able to raise $43,218.60 for the school. Thank you to all

the businesses and individuals who donated items. There are

also countless volunteers who make this fundraiser so

successful. The auction committee appreciates all of you!

“We Are God’s Holy Boys and Girls - One Big

Happy Family: We Follow the Leader, Jesus!”

With Gratitude Thank you for supporting the Ladies Auxiliary Bake

Sale. Thanks also to the ladies for baking all of the delicious

treats.

Christmas Party The Ladies of the Knights of St. John Auxiliary will

have their Christmas party Dec. 4th at 4:30 p.m. at the

Orchard Tree. RSVP to Rosie Gray at 419-305-3577 or

Diane Bruns at 419-586-6136.

Attention Ushers Plan “B” will be in effect for all Masses on the Feast

of the Immaculate Conception. When you arrive at church

check and see if there are enough ushers. If you are the first

one there start the prep work and secure enough ushers to

help you. Thank you.

Altar Rosary Christmas Party Ladies mark your calendar! Dec. 11th will be the

Altar Rosary Christmas Party! Doors open at 6:00 and we

will eat at 6:30. Our entertainment this year will be Dillon

Robbins, an accomplished young pianist who will play

dinner and Christmas music from 6-8. This year several

ladies have agreed to show their talents and decorate the

tables with their own creative ideas. Come enjoy a fun filled

evening of good food, great entertainment, and fellowship

with other ladies of the parish. If you wish to attend please

call Mary Butturini at 567-279-4753 for reservations by Dec.

6th. We also ask each lady to bring a canned good for the

food pantry in the spirit of giving for all those in need. The

meal will be $9.00 and will be catered by Bella's.

Helping Hands Needed Church Christmas decorations will go up at 2:30

p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 17th. We are in need of several extra

people to help put trees together. Three of them are brand

new 9’ trees. If you could spare an hour or so to help with

this part of the process, we would be ever so grateful. Please

Gift Cards For Sale!!!! Can you believe it is already Dec.? It’s time to think

about Christmas, and I.C. School can be a wonderful help by

doing your shopping for you! Giving gift cards for Christmas

is such a great idea and can make your life so much easier!

We carry gift cards to most local restaurants, national chain

stores, gas stations, retail stores, discount stores, Amazon,

etc. AND THE BEST PART IS THAT IT IS AT NO

EXTRA COST TO YOU!!!

For example, if you want a $25 gift card to Walmart,

you pay $25, and you receive the FULL $25 gift card! You

truly get what you pay for!

I.C. representatives are in the vestibule of the Church

after every weekend Mass to sell a selection of cards to you

right out of inventory. We keep most of the local businesses

on hand for immediate purchase, and we have order forms

for you to fill out if we don’t have your specific card that

day.

If you would like to order cards at any other time,

just pick up an order form, fill it out, and drop the order off at

I.C. School or Parish Office with your payment. Orders are

placed on Mondays at 9:00 a.m., and will be ready to be

picked up by Thursday.

To find the entire list of cards available, just go to

shopwithscrip.com and browse through the cards. There are

spaces on the back of the order form to write in your choices.

I.C. School thanks you for your support! Have a

Merry Christmas!!!
