EXPLORATION DRILLIING TECHNOLOGY


Exploration drilling is a procedure in which several test holes are drilled for the

purpose of evaluating the mineral contents of the ground in a particular area. It

is conducted to find out whether or not materials of value are present, and to

assess the quality of those materials. There are a number of industries which

use exploration drilling in their work, sometimes with their own drilling crews, and

sometimes through companies which provide for-hire drilling services. Job

prospects are relatively high.

WELDING AND FABRICATION


This highly practical hands-on short course provides an introduction to welding

and fabrication for students and some employees with little or no welding

experience, and leads on to a recognised industry standard. The course has

been designed for students who have completed some form of welding course

or who are currently working as welders, or those who have prior experience in

basic arc welding. ICMS offers training for careers in welding and metal

fabrication industries. Workers with these skills are usually in high demand

DUMP TRUCK OPERATION

(On-site Personnel)

This comprehensive dump truck operations training course will teach you the

valuable skills mining employers are looking for.

The course is run on a mine site where you will interact with excavators, water

trucks, light vehicles and other machinery. You will face the everyday hazards

you'll encounter when you finally get a job and you are working in a production

environment.

Also, you'll have the right certification to work within the coal, quarrying and

metaliferous mines – that's a lot more opportunities for employment.

LOADER OPERATOR TRAINING

(On-site Personnel)

ICMS-UNIMAK Training offers comprehensive on-site and open-enrollment

loader certification programs for beginner and experienced operators. We have

training programs for a wide variety of loader types.

FORKLIFT OPERATION

(On-site Personnel)

A primary function of forklifts is the loading and unloading or cargo from trucks

or trailers. Before entering a trailer you should make certain the trailer wheels

have been securely choked. If the truck is removed from the trailer you should

place a nose jack under the trailer to prevent it from tipping forward when you

enter it with a loaded forklift. You must also inspect the floor of the truck/trailer to

make certain it is in good condition and will support the weight of the loaded

forklift.

Forklifts, when operated properly, are a safe and efficient tool in a variety of

applications. Improper use can result in costly damage to product and facility as

well as serious injury. It is imperative operators know the rules of safe operation,

and follow them.

IT TRAINING (BASIC AND ADVANCED COMPUTER SKILL TRAINING)


Information technology is a general term that describes any technology that

helps to produce, manipulate, store and communicate information. Working in

the IT field can be a rewarding career path. While it can be expensive, some
