Roles and responsibilities of PYD

• Ensure that all data in AIMS, GSMS, RADIS and 7P

systems are updated and accurate

• Key in data early and submit before the deadline

• Review data/information after PPP and PPK validate

to ensure accuracy (within a week of 'cooling'

period)

Issue 1: PPP1 / PPK marks are less than draft marks

10

Verified by AIMS/GSMS

Assessed by PPP1

• PYD is eligible for 20 marks based on teaching load

• PPP1 / PPK are not allowed to give marks less than draft marks

Teaching (Quantity)

11

Verified by PPP1

• PYD is eligible for 15 marks based on teaching quality rubric and 5 marks for course assessment report, but PPP1 give marks less than eligible marks

• PPK does not give marks – this will effect PYD average marks

Issue 2: PYD key-in courses that are not listed in AIMS as Teaching Equivalent

12

• PPP1 should not verify incorrect teaching equivalent data • PYD should notified the faculty's academic office if any subject

taught was not listed in the system and not list the subject as Teaching Equivalent.

General Information

1. Quartile is the only sub-component that is able to overflow

between sections.

2. In general, leaders/inventors/PI/main authors will be able

to claim 100% full marks for each item, however,

members/co-inventors/co-researchers/co-authors will be

able to claim 50% of full marks for each item.

3. Research target (KPI) for AA is, in general, 50% less that

AC.

4. Each component has the own weightage, marking scheme

and sub-items that can be referred in eLPPT.
