Imt Ghaziabad is recognized as the front runner in Business education countrywide and
the executive PGDm program, which is now in the eleventh year of its operation, is one of
the most coveted and sought after full time residential executive management program. the
response of the companies for participation in the Placement Process has been overwhelming
which proves the continued faith and patronage of the corporate world in this accelerated
management program from IMT. It also confirms the robustness of IMT’s academic processes

in Ghaziabad and Nagpur, IMT has started its first international campus in
Dubai in 2006 to offer mBa Program. Imt has been consistently ranked

Imt has a fully networked campus with around 1200 nodes
connected with a backbone of 10 gbps fiber connectivity with multi
layer, high end cIsco campus wide network. Imt has 8 mbps (2*4)
metro ethernet connectivity which can be upgraded to 100 mbps
on demand. Imt has 13 enterprise level servers to support domain
service, security and storage service. the server room is designed
as per International standards. each faculty member is now
equipped with high end laptops and dedicated laser printers. entire
main building, library, mDrc building and hostels are equipped with
wi-fi networks. The Institute provides 24*7 connectivity @ 128 kbps
per node to each student at no additional charge. each faculty,
student and alumnus is provided with an official email account that is accessible anywhere. Computer labs and classrooms are
equipped with high end projectors and latest teaching aids. academic alliance with IBm, cisco and microsoft enables us to provide
world –class technology education. In near future, the Institute plans to implement video conferencing, advance level security solutions,

“Chakravyuh” – a 72 hour non-stop annual Inter B-school sports festival, held in February every year. We conduct various inter and intra B-school sports tournaments ranging from Football, cricket, Badminton and Volleyball to Basketball, table tennis and virtual games. It is one of the most awaited and strongly contested inter B-school event in the country.
passion – the annual management cum cultural festival of Imt Ghaziabad. It is a holistic event that continues non-stop for a period of 3 days. It is a memorable experience for participants as it opens new vistas of knowledge and ideas.

seleCtion Criteria
Imt has one of the most rigorous selection processes for

PGDm –executive program.
PGDm (executive) candidates are short listed for group
discussion and interview on the basis of their latest Gmat/cat
score or all India level Imt entrance test conducted in seven
major cities across India.

the theme of the summit was one of the most relevant topics for future managers, “turning strategies into results”, on which a
panel discussion was hosted. The esteemed panel included corporate honchos with rich diversified experience. The keynote
speaker to the event was mr. aquil Busrai, ceo –auil Busrai consulting & Former executive Director,IBm. In his speech Director,
Imt Ghaziabad-Dr. Bibek Banerjee emphasized on the need to distinguish between the mindset of planning and execution. he
cited the case of a batsman in cricket who has various strategies in mind while the bowler is running towards him but it is his
execution that fetches him maximum rewards and brings him to the record books. mr. Busrai reminded everyone of the stark
reality that in organizations, strategy goes hand in hand with seniority. though it is realistic to an extent but keeping the enthusiastic
minds at tactical and operational levels away from strategic decision making is about marginalizing them.
the house was mesmerized by the power talk of mr. sabharwal. he stated that the strategy to be adopted should be the one
whose present value of future returns is measurable and quantifiable. Strategy, according to him, is not a rocket science but a
bottom up approach of getting the fundamentals correct.
In sum, the conclave was an incredible value addition for the participating student managers. It enticed them to nurture strong
beliefs to be carried forward to the corporate arena. everyone appreciated the fact that planning coupled with meticulous execution
is the way forward for a falcon to move ahead, unperturbed.
