Since 2003 EURid is the registry that manages the .eu country code top-level domain upon appointment of the European Commission. EURid places domain name system (DNS) information into a centralised database and web and via email.
EURid is a not-for profit organisation established in Belgium whose membership includes the organisations operating the national registries for Belgium, Italy, Czech Republic and Slovenia, BusinessEurope, the Confederation of Computer User Associations (CECUA), the European Communities Trade Mark Association (ECTA), the European Multi-Channel Online Trade Association (EMOTA), the Interactive Advertising Bureau Europe (IAB Europe) and the European Association of Craft, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (UEAPME).
