Dear NAME, You are invited to participate in a fabulous marketing and philanthropic opportunity! The National Eating Disorders Association kicks off its 1st annual NEDA Walk February 2009 with partners across the country organizing NEDA Walks in support of National Eating Disorders Awareness Week. A NEDA Walk will be held locally on [DATE] at [Location]. We are hoping that you will contribute to the success of this event by providing [NAME OF ITEM OR SERVICE REQUESTED] as an in-kind donation. Proceeds of the NEDA Walk support critical programs and services that work to eliminate eating disorders and improve prevention, treatment and research. Eating disorders are potentially life-threatening illnesses that afflict more than 11 million Americans, but they are also treatable with your help.
Your gift will enable us to raise money to support critical services provided by NEDA such as their national, toll-free helpline, research grants, age-appropriate education programs, and website that is used by more than one million people per year for life-saving information and treatment referrals. Headquartered in Seattle, NEDA is the largest nonprofit organization in the world working to support those affected by eating disorders and serve as a catalyst for prevention, cures and access to treatment.
By participating, you will align yourself with an important cause that affects many in our community and you will increase your visibility and exposure in our community. [LIST an ways in which the donor will be recognized on printed materials, emails, etc...
