in memoriam GERALD F. KIRCHNER gERALD F. KIRCHNER was born in Irondequoit, N.Y. on April 24, 1930. After graduating from Irondequoit High School, he entered Paul Smith's College in September of 1949. While in college he was active in Resort Management affairs and a member of the Newman Club. In February 1951, he enlisted and was originally assigned as a cook. On November 29th of that year, while serving with his In fantry Division, Pvt. Gerald Kirchner became our first casualty of the Korean War. It is fitting and appropriate that we pay homage to so fine a young man whose earthly ambitions were halted so early in life. 5

gERALD F. KIRCHNER was born in Irondequoit, N.Y. on April 24,

1930. After graduating from Irondequoit High School, he entered
