Welcome to the In the Presence of Angels newsletter of-fering something for everyone from across the range of holsitic business and services that make up In the Pres-ence of Angels.

We are well into our process of turning this newsletter into a published magazine and we’ll keep you updated with this. Over the next few months this will come to be and you will have some great content to read, bought to you by a varietry of authors covering many subjects, all with an holistic perspective. We are very excited about these developments!

Body Care

The Angels urge you to care for your physical body. You are asked to eat healthy foods to exercise regularly and to avoid toxins.

This card represents the way forward for us and our children. As parents and caregivers we buy the food to give to our children. Let’s choose foods that nourish and foods that re-plenish and restore energy levels instead of foods that deplete and diminish.

Let’s ease them away from their computers, mobile phones and interactive games and re-connect them with nature by taking them for walks in the park or the woods to explore the natural world of trees, plants, insects, birds and animals. The Angels have sent me to Dubai!part 2, by Alison Ward

lASt month we heArd ABout the journey thAt promted AliSon wArd to reAliSe thAt She hAd to go to duABi And heArd how her FirSt viSit went. in thiS iSSue we heAr ABout Ali-Son And jAyne’S SeCond journey.

So the journey continues... Jayne and I went back to Dubai the following No-vember. Another successful trip, but it had a sour note to it. The person who arranged the first trip also insisted on arranging the follow up trip but some-thing just didn’t feel right. Her and her partner had decided to do the Angel Therapy course that I had done previ-ously with Doreen Virtue. They both decided they also wanted to pass on the gift of angelic communication. Won-derful; it would mean they could carry on the angel light work in Dubai… so I thought!

Strangely I wasn’t looking forward to this visit, I couldn’t put my finger on it but something felt very uneasy. I would sit and ask for guidance but nothing came. The night before I was due to leave my husband said, ‘it’s not too late to cancel you know Al’. I couldn’t can-cel, as I just couldn’t bring myself to let people down. We had a whole load of people booked on for healing and read-ing sessions plus we were going to hold an angel awareness day. How could I let them down? I was starting to give my power away!

I pushed these nagging feelings away and met Jayne at the airport ready for

take off. We enjoyed the journey... and the champagne (the drink of the angels we joked). After arriving in the early hours Brian (not his real name) collected us from the airport and took us to our accommodation. Brian was the partner of the lady who I shall call Tracey who was the organiser. When we met I felt a huge energy shift and I know he felt it too. The energy had changed between us; it felt a lower energy which made both Jayne and I feel uncomfortable. Again I gave my power away by ignor-ing it and pushing it away.

The next day was a rest day where we could acclimatise ourselves to the heat and get over the jet lag ready to start work the following day. Brian and Tracey had given us a mobile whereby we could contact them if we needed anything or so we thought! The mobile was constantly ringing; one or other would keep asking questions, advice, ‘what do you think of this’, moaning about other ex-pats etc. I started to feel like an agony aunt on-tap. My uneasi-ness began to raise its head once more. I didn’t want to upset either of them so again I pushed it way as I did my power. I actually began to feel physically weak.

‘What’s going on?’ I would ask myself. I continued to ignore the answer. Af-ter a fitful night sleep where I dreamt about being attacked, Jayne and I set off for work at the salon where we were based.

What I didn’t expect and really threw

me off guard was that when we arrived Tracey was there to greet us. We went to the room from where we did won-derful work on our last visit and we felt it welcome us. Then ‘BANG!’ the en-ergy that initially welcomed us crashed to the floor when Tracey delivered a list of tasks she wished us to do: give us her and Brian’s business cards so they could get clients for their angel read-ings; hand out flyers on their first angel day (to take place a week after ours); sell Tracey’s hand made jewellery; sell her mum’s angel paintings etc. The list was endless! I stood with my jaw dropped in total bewilderment. What was the purpose of this trip I asked myself ?

The answer came straight away… to bring more love and light to Dubai. To help the souls there who needed spir-itual nourishment. Why were we being asked to push services and products we knew nothing about? I can’t recom-mend people if I don’t know how they work. All these niggles started to build up causing me doubt and even fear. I questioned why Jayne and I were there and started to feel cross. ‘Why was this happening to us?’, I questioned. I just want to get on with the work I love. Just leave me alone to get on with it. Now I was beginning to see how it re-ally felt to give my power away.

I had reverted back to an old pattern of fear, of not being good enough and doubt started to build. After a shaky start the love and support of Jayne bu-oyed my faith and I started to flow once more as the clients started to arrive and I went into ‘the zone’ as I call it. I am truly at my happiest when I channel whether it be through readings, healing or teaching. I soon returned to my bliss state and forgot about the demands.

In fact I didn’t sell anything. I was in the flow and didn’t even think about sell-ing this painting or giving that flyer. I wasn’t here to hard sell I was here to help awaken souls to love and light and that was what Jayne and I did.

The story continued and we went home again knowing it was a success but also feeling very saddened by the actions of Tracey and Brian. There are more sto-ries I could share but I think you get the gist of what happened.

The whole experience affected me for weeks. I just couldn’t seem to get over the hurt I felt from this ‘angel couple’. Surely there is no need for competition and greed. I know now that when one is in their uniqueness all these lower vibrational energies just disappear as it all flows very beautifully and naturally. So why were they pushy and competi-tive? Hey, let’s stop there. Who am I to judge?

So all in all I felt that my days in Du-bai were over. I had absolutely no plans to return to the place where wealth is everywhere but often accompanied by greed. Little was I to know that I was to return a year later.

We were told the rea-son why Jayne was ‘fast-tracked’ when we returned home. Jayne was diag-nosed with Breast cancer and was due a mastectomy in February. What a blow, and how ironic! Jayne and I started up the month-ly breast cancer healing clinics the year before. We held them from my treatment room and they were proving to be a great success particularly with the local support group ‘Breast Friends’. I was re-ally upset for Jayne. What was in store for her? Did she even have a future? All those thoughts came up and I pushed them away to summon up strength and support for my dear friend. I had already lost a friend to cancer in 1995 and really didn’t want to lose another! Jayne was and still is amazing (I’m delighted to say). She

went through surgery, chemo and ra-diotherapy with pure grit and determi-nation plus a healthy dose of humour. Shortly after her treatment had ended she went on holiday and texted me to say she was staying near a nudist beach. ‘Oh no! I’ll have to get my t*t out!’ (No-tice it was expressed in the singular and not the plural!) She exclaimed. I roared with laughter at her resolve and inner strength.

So how did I go back to Dubai? Well, I was called by the Ascension Reiki and this time I did not resist. I first got the call three years previously but I ques-tioned why I was to re-learn Reiki as I have been teaching it since 1999. Medi-tating and asking for guidance once more I was told to learn this newly evolved Reiki with Jacqueline Phillips, the lady who channelled it and also the Founder of In The Presence of An-gels. So I learnt the Reiki and it settled within me. My journey went further as I bought a Living Soul Centre licence and have since opened my centre in So-lihull.

I was guided to take this beautiful heal-ing tool to Dubai. This time I was in my power and nothing and no-one was going to take that from me. Someone nearly did, but I recognised the signs and spoke my truth. With that sorted I set off to Dubai on my own feeling very empowered. I wonder what the theme

of this trip was going to be I asked. The answer was soon to come. It was about women giving their power away.

I really wanted to enjoy the flight so I made sure I got to the airport on time so I could get a window seat. I would have loved to have been able to fly busi-

ness class, but it was not to be this time so I was in economy. I knew the flight would be full; it always was but I did secretly ask my angels to give me a free seat next to me so I could spread out on the 7-hour flight.

Guess what? The aircraft was full bar one place. Yep, you got it, next to me. I giggled to myself as I stretched out and perused the menu. This was going to be fun!

After a great flight I arrived at Du-bai airport feeling very tired and just wanted to get to my hotel room, I was staying at a friend’s villa the following day but as I arrived in the early hours I booked an hotel where I could just rest for a few hours, shower and get a taxi to the villa where I was going to stay for the duration of my stay. I would also be teaching from there and doing my readings. I got through customs. Easy! Got to the taxi. Easy! No being pulled into cabs by eager drivers. Easy! Then I arrived at my hotel. Not easy! Oh my, what a shock. It was based in the most horrible part of Dubai; dirty, ugly and awful heavy, low energy. My taxi driver didn’t want to take me to the hotel and pretended his English was not fluent. Something was wrong. At this point as I asserted myself to this male driver I regained my power. ‘You will take me to my hotel or I will not pay you.’ I bravely stated. And that’s what he did.

Not happily I must ad-mit, but he did drag my case along the pavement with me trailing behind. I was aware that the en-ergy around me was quite threatening.

There were lots of the imported Indian work-ers (employed them to build the huge buildings sprouting up everywhere; offering a very low wage, £50 per week). Many of them appeared to be drunk or high. I asked for protection, well I didn’t ask, I insisted. My energy

field expanded and I grew tall. Quite an achievement for a 5ft 3 shorty!

As I arrived at the hotel I was greeted by two gentlemen who kept asking if I worked in Dubai. ‘No!’ I STATED ‘I’m just staying for a few hours then going to my friend’s.’

They acted a bit odd, but I didn’t want to go into their oddity, I needed my sleep.

After being shown my room the young man said, ‘here we keep key on outside door!’ ‘What?’, I asked. He repeated: ‘here we keep key on outside door!’ What did he mean?

This went on for several minutes, or at least that was how it felt. ‘No,’ I ex-claimed, ‘here my key goes on inside door!’ With that I pushed him out, sat on the bed and asked what on Earth (or even in Dubai) is go-ing on?

I decided to freshen up before I retired to bed. It was now 2am and I was due to start teaching at 10am so sleep was on my mind. I went into the bathroom and swilled my face. As I grabbed for the hand towel I noticed that there were no hand or bath tow-els; only face cloths (or flannels as we call them at home). I joked to myself that they were barely big enough to cover my bits! (Apolo-gies for the crudeness but that’s me).

It then started to dawn on me. I was in a working lady’s hotel, a brothel! Why is this happening I questioned? I didn’t need to wait for the answer it came quickly even in my tired state. The an-swer was channelled to me “WOM-EN ARE GIVING THEIR POWER AWAY”

Now I understood; I gave my power away on my last trip to Dubai. Now I was put in a situation where women give their power away to men. I didn’t judge for that was not for me, I simply understood and knew and accepted that was the role of this trip; the theme.

After a light and fitful rest (sleep it was not!) I awakened to the sound of the lo-cal mosque calling for prayers. I quickly showered and air dryed my body; even I accepted that the face cloths would not dry my size 14 body!

I ran out of the hotel, well, limbered out as fast as I could and realised getting a taxi may be difficult. I am so blessed... a taxi pulled up with a lady passenger inside and told me I wouldn’t be able to get a taxi there. His passenger had wait-ed over an hour for this taxi. Bless the driver he saw an angel in distress and

rescued me. Straight to my friends villa. What a difference, as the electric gates opened I was privy to a wonderful site of a beautiful villa and grounds with its own pool! See the picture below.

I had two cups of coffee (yes I know I was teaching Reiki where you normally de-tox, but I needed to stay alert for my teaching). My fellow angels (stu-dents) roared with laughter at my tale and couldn’t quite believe where I had stayed just a few hours prior.

What a treat was in store. We had a won-derful few days with me teaching Reiki Masters to these lovely awakened souls. There were four of them and they each represented a sector of In The Pres-ence of Angels Living Soul centres: Sue represented the business sector, a pro-fessional life/business coach who had a regular radio slot; Najat, a governor represented the holistic children & fam-ily sector; Jo represented the therapeu-tic health and beauty sector and Stella the host who was all four in different ways including of course the education sector as they were all learning Reiki to Master-Teacher level.

We all laughed, cried, shared our stories and discovered our uniqueness. Stella’s cook created wonderful food for us to share. Her maid tidied up after us. I had a fast-track lesson in learning how to receive. I did not wash a plate or tidy up. At first I felt uncomfortable in not being able to help, but Stella was a dear angel and kept repeating that I was her guest and it was an honour to have me in her home with her beautiful three children.

I first met Stella on my first visit to Dubai. She came to the angel day at the end of the trip and I noticed she cried through most of it, a true sign of

someone releasing from their old ways into the new.

I worked hard without any time off until my last day when I went with the newly attuned masters to a 90-minute yoga session with an Indian yogi. Wow! I got into position I didn’t know existed all with the help of the wonderful yogi who simply but confidently pushed me into positions. I then realised that due to his confidence in me my mind ceased to affect my movement and my body flowed. Considering I worked hard all

week with little sleep (I was high with the Reiki) and felt incred-ible when we came out of the yoga centre. We then shopped, had lunch and I ended my stay with some pampering beauty treatments.

As I returned to Stella’s home we ate a lovely meal then sat outside in the warm evening and shared a bottle of wine. Stella proceeded to tell me how the angel day had changed her life and the journey she had been on since that day, a separation and

subsequent divorce. Her belief in an-gels had given her strength to leave an unhappy marriage (women giving pow-er away). This theme also continued to show itself in the readings I did. Lots of beautiful women in situations where they had become disempowered.

As I allowed myself to listen to Stella I was told very loudly ‘Alison this is your gift, own it, do not hide away from it. It will help many, many people’.

I then realised that I was no longer go-ing to hide my gift. I am now in my gift, my uniqueness and I, with the help of my fellow angels at head office of In The Presence of Angels, am heading up the Global Living Soul Network and sharing my gift with the world.

“Through circumstances, good and bad, I arrived at the Living Soul Centre in Solihull on a cold winter’s day in Jan-uary to be attuned to Ascension Reiki. I arrived abruptly, without understand-ing why I was there, what to expect and where it would take me. So what did I learn?

“The word ‘acknowledge’ came up again and again during these three unique, unforgettable days. We learnt a great dea lot of ‘knowledge’ was passed down to us. But how to explain this? We were not learning an exact science for an exam. It was the knowledge of love and understanding, of love and light. The definition of acknowledge is to agree to the truth, to admit it is true and express appreciation that it is true. We truly did this.

“Five people joined together to be at-tuned to Ascension Reiki. Had we passed each other on the street, we may have acknowledged each other, glanced up or walked past each other. But in the Living Soul Centre we came together as one. We ‘saw’ into each others’ souls. We loved each other unconditionally, with-out even knowing our middle names. It was a unique experience, to feel so greatly for your fellow student without

knowing their journey until now. How-ever we all saw the gifts each had. We had a respect for our own uniqueness, experiences, inner most thoughts and feelings.

“Our great teacher, Alison Ward, opened the course with an acknowledgement of our blocks. Call them fears, obstruc-tions, we needed to deal with these, to show them respect, but show them for what they are, our own restrictions. We as individuals can change these and open up to let the flow of energy through. My own block? It was some-thing I didn’t think I had in me. I was even quite annoyed to think that I had such a block. I wasn’t dealing with it and it was stopping the flow of energy and stopping me from accelerating through my journey. I spent an uncomfortable night mulling this over. But once I had acknowledged this, it was no longer a problem. I had imprisoned myself in this feeling and now I had opened up and let it go.

“To call the whole experience beautiful, tranquil, serene, would not do it justice. It was unique to each and every one of us. And this is only the beginning. Ascension Reiki is not something you learn and think about every now and then. It’s something deep in us, to call upon in every situation in life. It is in our soul. Reiki is food for the soul.

“This is a time of oneness. Everybody will be with people who bring them

joy and vice versa. It is about love and oneness. What does not serve will fall away. Everyone will be in their unique-ness. It is imperative that everyone is doing what they love. Love is the way in all things. If you love what you do, you love you. If you love you, you love what you do.

“Twin flames will merge. IF YOU ARE CURRENTLY NOT WITH ONE THEN YOU WILL BE. If you are with a twin flame then you will become closer. Love will be reciprocated and there will be no struggle, no fights, no defence just a deep knowing, respect and love.

“People will be moving, leaving, and coming, going towards and away. There is a shift of energy. Like will attract like. If you are residing in the higher energy you will not be able to tolerate the lower energy for long. You will move. If you are of lower energy and cannot even see there is another way, you will stay there. You are one, so eventually all will be at the same point. Until then, there will be many partings and changes.

My name is Maxine Swann. I’m a reg-istered Homeopath, Indian Head Mas-sage & Angelic Reiki practitioner. In December I completed the Living Soul Therapy Diploma course with Jacque-line Phillips and Angela Goffe and what an experience that was! I’m still swinging from the chandelier! All I can say is, be prepared to have your socks blown off and your life changed in the most positive way possible!

At the end of our first session, Jacqui encouraged us all to “be a master”. She tolds us to ‘master energy’, which sounds terribly difficult and technical, like something requiring a degree in quantum physics perhaps, but it isn’t.

By the end of that first session I realised that it is, in fact, the simplest thing in the world, because everything is energy and everything you do is an ‘interplay’ of energy. You ‘manipulate’ energy every second of your life without be-ing concious of it, in your relationships with people, places and things. So just imagine how much more powerful it is when you do it conciously, in a state of unconditional love and for the highest possible healing.

Jacqui also said to ‘know that you can do it (master energy), it’s easy!’ Once you allow yourself to grasp this idea and relax with it, you’re half way to un-derstanding the essence of Living Soul Therapy. At the end of day one I went away inspired and motivated to ‘play’

with energy. I started raising the energy in rooms at home, simply through in-tention. I found that I could ‘shift’ the energy around people and diffuse nega-tivity by asking the permission of their higher selves and making a connection with them in love and compassion. All this you will be taught or rather, reminded of. You will also be shown how, because everything is energy, eve-rything has the potential to change, grow and heal. You will remember that intention is everything - we create, heal, teach and guide through the power of intention.

During the course you are introduced to the ‘tools’ of Living Soul Therapy that help you to ‘read’ your client’s en-ergy, locate blockages and non-serving energy and release them, so that the client can begin to live at their highest potential. Angela showed me how these tools inter-relate and weave together to produce a wonderful ‘tapestry’ of the client’s energy field

The second session took us further into the meaning of Living Soul Therapy. The tools help you to gain access to the client’s aura and release those things that are holding them back, but this is only the beginning of a journey of deeper self-awareness for the client. As a ho-meopath, I have found that the great-est healing takes place when the client ‘takes responsiblity’ for themselves and their condition. It’s not about ‘blame’, but about self-awareness. It is the place where the client can see for themselves the self-limiting actions or mindsets that prevent healing from taking place and the soul from truly expressing it-self.

therapist to guide your client to this place of clarity. Even better, every sin-gle Living Soul session offers you, the therapist, clarity about your own life and purpose. After every reading you are encouraged to ask yourself - ‘what does this reading say about me?’ It’s the perfect win-win situation! As my son would say, ‘it don’t get no better than that!’ You will also be guided to find your ‘uniqueness’ - that gift, skill or service that you have to offer and which no one else can do in the way that you do it. This for me was yet another blessing of the course. Everything starts with the self, the inner being - ‘as within, so without’. Your uniqueness, whatever it might be, helps others to find theirs, setting up a beautiful domino effect.

My lasting impression of the course is the joy, energy and enthusiasm of the teachers Steph, Alison and Angela and the facilitator Jacqui - what a woman! What an absolute inspiration! Jacqui walks her talk. I remember her saying: “I am a fantastic energy master!” with no trace of ego, with total commitment and confidence and she encourages you to be the same. Her words re-connect-ed me to my true self and awakened the dormant energy master within me. I know that you will enjoy the course and I offer you the same guidance that Jacqui gave us:

My Experience of Living soul Therapyby Maxine swann

“This morning on the drive into work, a friend and I were following an INFINITY make of car. It’s LED tail lights formed the shape of the INFINITY symbol; really cool. And the registration number, in its letter and numbers repeated this number 741. It naturally occurred to me that we should pay at-tention to this, so when I got back home and checked Doreen Virtue’s Angel ‘Numbers” book to see what was being said here. Here’s what that little ‘Book of Numbers’ says about that number 741: “The Angels are with you and your positive energy allows them to help you in MIRACULOUS ways” Cool eh? Maybe I’ve said this before, but angels don’t have to be restricted to the classical fluffy-winged harp-strumming type. Angels are constructs from ancient times to describe the un-seen forces that are around us all the time. Just as some theologies have ‘Gods’ of this, that and the other; the term ‘Angels’ has been used to describe a certain recognition, often reverance to the amazing splendour of the crea-tive forces of our universe. It is this ‘infinite wisdom’ of these forces that causes them to take the form that countless humans have reported interactions with from the beginning of time.

Furthermore, interestingly enough, our modern language of science reveals a curious connection. An-gels are known as God’s Messengers, right? Well, God is light, it states that in The Bible and other ancient texts. Therefore Angels are messengers of light. Light - which is what all phenomana is made up of, is more scientifically referred to as photons, which are measured in Angstroms (named after the Swedish scientist Anders Angstrom who developed the apparatus to measure photons). This light, (photons) is measurable because of the ANGLES at which they arrive here on Earth from their origi-nal source, to us, from the centre of the galaxy in which our Earth resides. Therefore: ANGELS are messengers of Light (God) PHOTONS (Light) are ANGLES of light. So, you see, we have this simple, elegant marriage of what we call religion and science. What we have here also actually demonstrates that the ancients understood, what modern scientists (which has long been retarded by religion) can now confirm. Furthermore, now that scientists are accepting what the ancients knew - that DNA is a transmitter/ receiver of photonic radiation - these ANGELS (photons-ANGLES of light) are interacting with us all the time. As photons carry no charge either negative or positive, it is OUR ATTITUDE, that gives them charge, with which they then ‘create our reality’ from what is popularly called the “quantum field.” What the ancients called Akasha, what others call the Akashic record.

Therefore, if we are POSITIVE we create our reality in a POSITIVE way - if we are NEGATIVE then obviously the photons we are constantly using to create our reality will be NEGATIVE. Nice scientific confirmation of how our thoughts truly are responsible for our reality! So, the message we received from “infinity” this morning, via that INFINITY car, can be verified as true and worthy of note. And when acted upon, because you accept it, and realise that there are great un-seen forces at work with us, we allow this positive light, energy to affect us at the DNA molecular level - changing our reality completely to something totally new and beyond the grasp of the ego. Cool eh?
