specificationsBearings: Input and movement arms rotate with either non-friction roller bearings with a Basic Radial Load Rating of 2420 pounds, contained in a custom cast and machined housing or a self-lubricating bronze bushing in a machined steel housing to provide smooth movement and precise alignment.

Weight Transport: 1/4" diameter aircraft cable with a 7 x 19 construction and black nylon coating. The cable is rated at a breaking strength of 4200 lbs.

Pulleys: Pulleys are 4 1/2" diameter fiberglass-impregnated nylon with a precision fit cable groove and 6203 double sealed non-friction roller bearings.

Weight Plates: All Legend selectorized equipment features solid steel weight stack plates with a black finish. Self aligning low friction sleeve bearing surround the guide rods on every weight stack plate.

Spring Suspension: Heavy duty die cast springs are used under the weight stack to reduce shock and vibration stresses.

Guide Rods: Guide rods are solid steel and hard chrome plated to ensure quiet operation and low friction movement.

Lanyard Pins: All Legend selectorized equipment features weight stack pins that are lanyard with a coiled self-storing cord to prevent pin removal or loss.

Fasteners: All bolts meet ANSI B18.3 specifications.

Frame Materials: All equipment is CAD drawn and machined to a minimum tolerance of +/- .030”. Construction is primarily of Square Tubing 3" x 11g, Rectangular Tubing 4" x 2" x 11g and Rectangular Tubing 3" x 2" x 11g and a combination of other heavy structural tubular steel sizes with an ASTM rating of A500 grade B (minimum mechanical properties of 58,000 PSI tensile strength and 46,000 PSI yield strength).

Construction: Features all-welded construction by inert-gas MIG welding to conform with and in accordance with the following codes and/or standards: 3:1 AWS, A3.0 Welding Terms and Definitions 3.2 AWS D1.1-81 Structural Welding Code-Steel 3.2 AWS D9.1 Specifications

Frame Finish: Each piece of equipment is prepared both mechanically and chemically for powder-coating. This process includes a high-temperature, high-pressure iron phosphate wash to ensure optimum adhesion of the electrostatically applied TGIC polyester powder. This is an engineered powder that is scuff resistant and long wearing. The coating is then baked at 400 degrees fahrenheit and carefully monitored to ensure complete curing.

Technical summaries are determined using 3.0 - 5.0 mil powder film over iron-phosphated, pretreated steel using and conforming with the following test methods: ASTM B5965-96, C ASTM D 3451-93, 13UL DTOV2 organic coatings

Padding and Upholstery: The padding material is 2" thick virgin foam meeting ASTM 1692 and MVSS302 standards for flammability. Foam density is 12 lbs. per cubic foot. Upholstery is 32 oz. Sulfide-stain resistant "Naugahyde" formulated to meet small scale flammability test requirements contained in Federal Standard 191A (CCC-A-680 a). All pads are top double-stitched. Foam is glued to a 3/4" thick support board, then trimmed to fit exactly.

Component Fabricators, Inc. (DBA Legend Fitness) warrants to the original purchaser that Legend Fitness/Contours Express equipment will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for the following periods and in the following respects:

12-YEAR WARRANTY Structural Welds and Frames

FIVE-YEAR WARRANTY Bronze Bushings, Sealed Rotating Bearings and Pulley Wheels

ONE-YEAR WARRANTY Cables, Weight Plates, Guide Rods, and all other components not mentioned elsewhere in this warranty.

90-DAY WARRANTY Upholstery and Grips

All warranty periods begin to run from the date of delivery to the original purchaser. The obligation of Legend Fitness under this warranty is limited to repairing or replacing warranted defective parts, as Legend Fitness may elect, at the Legend Fitness plant in Maynardville, Tennessee, without charge to purchaser for either parts or labor. Purchaser is responsible for all transportation and insurance costs on returned or replaced equipment to and from the Legend Fitness plant in Maynardville, Tennessee.

This limited warranty does not cover and no warranty is given with respect to:

1. Component parts not manufactured by Legend Fitness. 2. Products that are altered without the express, written consent of Legend Fitness. 3. Products purchased other than directly from Legend Fitness or through an authorized dealer.

ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANT- ABILITY, IS LIMITED TO ONE YEAR DURATION FROM THE DATE OF DELIVERY TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER. THE REMEDY OF REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT IS THE EXCLUSIVE AND SOLE REMEDY OF THE PURCHASER. LEGEND SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONTINGENT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGE OR LOSS OF OTHER PROPERTY OR EQUIPMENT AND LOST PROFITS OR REVENUE.

No action for breach of this written limited warranty or an implied warranty shall be commenced more than one year after the accrual of the cause of action. This written limited warranty is the complete, final and exclusive agreement of the parties with respect to the quality or performance of the goods and any and all warranties and representations. No modifications of this limited warranty or waiver of its terms shall be binding on either party unless approved in writing by an authorized corporate officer of Legend Fitness.
