In Unison September 2018 The monthly newsletter of Unity in the Olympics Courage to Heal By Reverend Donna Little Every word that you think or that you say, whether you intend it as a prayer or a joke, is heard by the ONE Presence in the Universe and is considered as a request for what you want more of. Does that make you think about the words you choose to use, perhaps just out of habit, without thinking about the impact of what you are asking of the Universe? I certainly hope so! I don’t want us to be asking for things we know we do not want! When I was recently sick with bronchitis, I heard myself say, “I can’t stop coughing.” Lo and behold, it became true for me. My coughing became so intense, I could not catch my breath. THAT was not what I wanted at all! So, I had to change my thoughts and my words in order to recover. I thought, “What I want is to BREATHE…easily, deeply, clearly.” I made that thought my belief and my Affirmation, “I breathe easily, deeply and clearly.” As my breathing did become easier, I appreciated each breath – patting my chest in grateful remembrance of my Wholeness, my true Health and my Per- fect energy level. Sometimes, my desire to be healed is held captive by the fear that I might not be healed; that I may Never stop coughing. In that moment of distress, I must make a courageous decision. “Yes, I want to be Well; I am willing to Think It, Know It and Live It!Jesus asked many who came to Him for healing. “Do you want to be healed; do you want to be well; whole?” This is a deep question. Healing results are life changing. Am I willing to go through the heal- ing process; medication; perhaps hospital; am I willing to Love and care for my body? Am I ready for the responsibility that comes with being Well; to share generously of my good life; to love and support others in their healing journeys? It takes a courageous decision to accept Wellness and Health as my Natural State of Being. And, it takes a courageous decision to express my Wholeness and Oneness with the One Power, changing my thinking, my feeling and my Knowing with the certainty that I am strong, healthy and capable. As we enter this month of Celebrating Unity World Day of Prayer, let us focus on the 2018 theme – Courage to Heal. Let us Claim our Wholeness and Divine Health and be willing to Express Good Health in Love and Joy. Courage to Heal By Reverend Donna Little Every word that you think or that you say, whether you intend it as a prayer or a joke, is heard by the ONE Presence in the Universe and is considered as a request for what you want more of.

I thought, “What I want is to BREATHE…easily, deeply, clearly.” I made that thought my belief and my Affirmation, “I breathe easily, deeply and clearly.” As my breathing did become easier, I appreciated each breath – patting my chest in grateful remembrance of my Wholeness, my true Health and my Per-fect energy level. Sometimes, my desire to be healed is held captive by the fear that I might not be healed; that I may Never stop coughing. In that moment of distress, I must make a courageous decision. “Yes, I want to be Well; I am willing to Think It, Know It and Live It!” Jesus asked many who came to Him for healing. “Do you want to be healed; do you want to be well; whole?” This is a deep question. Healing results are life changing. Am I willing to go through the heal-ing process; medication; perhaps hospital; am I willing to Love and care for my body? Am I ready for the responsibility that comes with being Well; to share generously of my good life; to love and support others in their healing journeys? 38/38 Prosperity Vision 38 people average attendance on Sundays

with an average weekly giving per person of $38. You can be an integral part of the Prosperity Vision for Unity in the Olympics

both by giving and by holding in your mind and heart the vision of 38 people at

the Sunday service giving an average of $38 each. This will generate approximate-

ly $75,000 a year for the church and enable us to attract and increase compensa-

tion for a new minister, have more live music on Sundays, and perform much

needed updates and repairs to our church home.

Thank you for being part of this vision!!

One More Step

A hill is not too hard

to climb taken one

step at a time.

One step is not too

much to take;

one try is not too

much to make.

One step, one try, one

song, one smile will

shortly stretch into a

mile.

And everything worth

while was done by

small steps taken one

by one.

To reach the goal you

started for, take one

step more, take one

step more!
