     WHAT IS

    •Incinerator : a furnace to burn waste.

    •A thermal oxidizer: a process unit for air pollution control in manychemical plants that decomposes hazardous gases/liquid at a high

    temperature and releases them into the atmosphere.• In the Incinerator the chemical/Biological waste is burnt at itsdestruction temperatures. The outlet streams are monitored for thesafety of the Environment before releasing to atmosphere.

     Phenolics waste water in TK-93902 is ed to Phenolics wastewater incinerator and !"rnt# $"el %as is "sed as a "el or the Incinerator# Anisole is also !"rnt in case o Plant "&set conditions#

     The Burner Management ystem !BM" is a safety control systemthat provides for the orderly start up# operation# and shutdown of theincinerator burner. The BM monitors critical interloc$s during burnerfiring and ensures a safe shutdown if a critical interloc$ fault should

    occur. The system is designed for local operation start up. BM controlis e%ecuted within a &'( logic)solver.
