We are primarily a software company, creating elegant, field-proven solutions, addressing business processes, legal compliance, enterprise risk and audit tracking.

We realise our software depends on proper deployment. That’s why our mobile field solutions use customized hand-held devices to monitor field trans-actions of fertilizer, crops or even fruits. Our trained field teams have hands-on expertise in customised biometric devices as well as GPRS / Bluetooth / GPS com-munication protocols when writing to high-density back end databases.

Our development labs are in Delhi and Mumbai.

LP-ATTENDAttendance Management System This is a biometrically enhanced attend-ance management system that derives from the work that we have done for NREGA. The hand-portable biometric device operates on customisable firm-ware. It is location-aware via GPS satel-lite positioning. It allows real-time Wifi or GPRS linking to the company’s HR data-base.

Igloo Dairy, Fresh and Pure

Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment ActMG-NREGA is the largest employment demand scheme in the world, promising to pay every one of India’s rural poor – perhaps 350 million people, a sum of a hundred rupees for a day’s labour. In Devgaon, a small village in Madhya Pradesh, a young mother, after working several days on a village well, accosted us: “...hum log tõ koi nahin, tõ tankha kaise milegi?” — “we are nobodies, so how will we get our salary?” Sita, a tribal villager, had come up against the system, and she expected little. Our biometric team travelled from village to village, adding people to job cards using photographs and a fingerprint scanner.

Sita’s loss of hope was the catalyst in our NREGA project. The Lateral Praxis team created a solution that would ensure Sita would get paid for any work she did. We used an always-on-line biometric device with GPS location, along with a localized web-interface. Six months later, we met Sita, and her comments are now recorded in a compelling video clip on Youtube.
