Task taken by our school for Design for change

BEST OF WASTE:- We see many things around us that if not thrown in the garbage by the village,

can be reused in many ways.

FEELWe feel that people throw many useful things like wool,

newspaper, piece of cloth, bangles etc. after using them. These things are polluting our environment in so many ways like

problem of sewerage blockage etc. We feel that we can make creative and useful things by reusing these wastage things.

IMAGINEWe imagine that many useful and beneficial things can be prepared by using wool, cloths, newspapers etc. we show books related to best of waste to the students so that they can

make their parents aware that how can they use these waste things for their use. Students are shown many things made by the waste material in school campus also.

DOFirst of all, the students of our school showed things made from the waste things to the parents in P.T.M. and books related best of waste were also shown by students to parents. Then students of our school made a home to home visit with their teachers to demonstrate the parents that we can use different wastage things like wool to make pillow covers, Cushions, hand made fans, newspapers as table covers, clothes as hangers, Threads for embroidery on shawls etc.

SHAREThe parents made different useful things with the help of students, they made very creative things with the use of wastage things. Parents expressed that the task was

very enjoyable as well as useful by making such useful things. They also felt that they can also reduce pollution in their locality.
