I am here with the first edition of Indian Comic Fandom magazine. Indian Comic

Industry with thousands of fans, professionals is dynamic and a fan gets many

updates from different comic publications, creatives on a daily basis.

This volume covers news and past events related to Fiction Comics, Fenil Comics,

Raj Comics, Vimanika Comics, Holy Cow Entertainment. Fan-fiction on Raj Comics

is included as other publications are new and their characters are in developing

stage with negligible fan-fiction on their characters or series.

Fiction Comics (2013)

Fiction Comics is promoting multiple characters and series (to be launched in

2013) with catchy promotional artworks and previews. Most publicized among all

the characters with few completed stories is Pagli.

Fenil Comics

Fenil Comics Announced a short movie Naadaan on their Character Jasoos

Balram. They are also working with VFX and Animation artists for effects in

movie and promotional artworks.

Fenil Comics invited stories and scripts from fans on Jasoos Balram and Naadaan

is first Jasoos Balram script submitted by Mr. Salman Khan.

Fenil Comics also announced their magazine “Recharge”. Fenil Comics

is developing its distribution network. Fenil Comics management is

also developing concepts, universe(s) and related characters of their

upcoming series like Stunt Girl, Bajrangi.

Interview with Fenil Sherdiwala (CEO-Creative Head, Fenil

Comics)

Fenil ji ne kuch questions k jawab nahi diye, jo uhhone bharosa dilaya ki

samay k saath wo sabko pata chal jaayenge.

Q. Your views about the present condition of Indian Comics Industry?

Ans. These days Indian comics industry is in poor condtion and it requires some

new and fresh projects. Worst condition of distribution comics in india will panic

industry soon.

Q. What challenges one faces as a comic publisher? How is India different

from other nations with huge craze for comics?

Ans . As publisher lots of challenges we have to face with. Biggest challenge is

production and for that selection of perfect artist for ur concept. At last moment

DISTRIBUTION is major problem in India. India is different becoz in india

parents allows their children to watch movies like DABANGG, SINGHAM but

they will not allow their child of reading comics.On the other side in USA and UK

comics is big market not for teenagers but also for elders.

Q. Out of 35 characters/series choose your top 5.

Ans. I m father of my character so all are same for me.

Q. Tell us something about your hometown & nearby areas.

Ans. I m from Surat, Gujarat and it is a business hub for textile and diamonds.

80% of saree exports of world goes from surat.

Q. How many artists, writers are working (or worked) for Fenil Comics

(approximately)?

Ans. We are team of 14 persons including writers, artists, editors and some helping

hands.

Q. Please share some of your childhood memories.

Ans. Childhood is a sweetest stage of life. In childhood I was brilliant in study.

Good in cricket also played some village matches. But in vacations we used to read

comics and science magazines in noon time. We also started a library in our group

where we collected comics, novels, magazines of our circle.

Q. Your favorite artist(s) and writer(s)?

Ans. Favorite artist in India is Dilip Chaubeyji, Colorist Zakir hussain ji and Writer

is Sanjay Gupta ji.

In foreign countries : Artist and writer one and only ALEX ROSS.

Q. Favorite comics?

Ans. In India : Nagayan Series. And out side of india JUSTICE all 12 parts.

Q. Current status of your distribution network?

Ans. Currently we have good grip in major cities of GUJARAT,

MAHARASHTRA, UTTARPRADESH, MADHYAPRADESH and PUNJAB.

Q. Favorite Sport(s)?

Ans. Cricket & our National Game Hockey.

Q. Role model(s) in your life?

Ans. My Father.

Q. Your hobbies?

Ans. Reading, Writing scripts, Hollywood movies, Body building.

Q. What was your family’s response when you told them about your idea to

start FC?

Ans. An idea of starting FENIL COMICS was in my mind since i was only 15. At

that time I developed FAULAAD and also illustrate his comics myself which was

64 pgs issue. Later I changed his story synopsis when I put it in market. My father

is my mentor. When I told him abt my project he told me start immediately. Now

no more wait. :D

Q. Your travel diary chapters (places you have been in brief or just names)?

Ans. I have visited almost 40% of india GUJARAT, RAJASTHAN, DELHI,

JAMMU KASHMIR, GOA(my favorite spot), DIU ISLAND, HIMACHAL,

KARNATAKA.

Q. You are also involved in social work. Tell us more about it?

Ans . Not at this time.

Q. Your schooling & college?

Ans. I finished my school education in JEEVANBHARTI SCHOOL (surat) and

collage education in SIR K.P. COLLAGE OF COMMERCE.

Q. Passive yet effective contributors who helped you to achieve your dream?

Ans. First of all my family, they inspired me to do better and better. My friends

like Saurabh Saxena, Vidur Gotawala, Abhishek Vishwakarma, Sanjay Guptaji(raj

comics head). All fans who indirectly helped me in all way, otherwise I was

nothing.

Q. Memories related to your love for comics?

Ans. : Most happiest moment >> When my mom bought me “AGNIPUTRA

ABHAY AND TOMANGO” Most Miserable Moment >>> When I bought :

“AGNIPUTRA ABHAY AND BLACK THUNDER”

Q. Memories related to comic communities, forums you were part of?

Ans. If I talk about comics communities, first of all I joined RCFC on ORKUT

after there were so many communities on ORKUT like RCJ, RFN, VC & of course

RC Forums. I m still a member of these communities.

Q. You witnessed decades 80s, 90s, 2000-10, what changes you observed and

things from the past you want back?

Ans. Ys I witnessed all decades written here… but I also witnessed 1970s as I have

many comics of that decades too… Changes are in presentation… These days no

publisher is fully successful to attract big reader group. Reason is hightek

cellphones, gaming, Hollywood movies. I m trying to bring that past back with my

little efforts.

Q. I noted one common thing people say about comic which is, Technological

changes made comics an outdated medium of entertainment. What are your

views on this?

Ans. Who says comic is outdates medium of entertainment? In fact, These days

many bollywood movies releases their comics. Ra-One, Agnipath, Don movie

team have created comics related to their movies. I have one project from

bollywood, I will announce later.

Q. Don’t you think that FC base should be closer to North India, as initially

it is targeting North Indian Hindi speaking belt?

Ans. FC is at it’s experimental period. At this time, we are doing only production

of our upcoming series of 2012. FC is hindi language which is our mothertongue

and it is targeting 70% of Indian terrotary. We shall release ENGLISH translated

titles also and some titles will come only in ENGLISH.

Q. I know this is a bit difficult can you please share the list of online comic

lovers who are continuously supporting you?

Ans. : So many comics fans supported fenil comics till now. Mohit Sharma ji

(Trendster), Dk boss, anubhav rakesh ji, saurabh saxena ji, mandaar ji, aman ji,

prashant arts from facebook, ashish khare ji, saket ji, naval thanawala ji, prateek

charanji, shalu gupta ji, hussain zamin ji and many others they all supported fenil

comics on social communities like facebook and orkut.

Q. Progress of FC website and forums?

Ans. Fc forum work is almost finished and we added some tools on its typing pad.

So now fans can post pics, post smilies and everything. But it is still work in

progress. Abt site we are adding more and more materials on our site. We are also

starting ONLINE STORE soon.

Fenil Comics k CEO, Studio head, Writer Fenil Sherdiwala ji se baat hui. Pesh hai

Bhali Entry : Thrill Horror Suspense Series

There were many Indians publications in India, Many published Misc comics on

fairy tales and detective stories. But It was Raj comics, who put Horror series on

the map. When the "Thrill Horror Suspense" series was launched, It was a Instant

hit. After the success of this series, Many Indian publishers tried to follow this

success and created their own Horror series. But their Horror series were always

second rate in both stories and illustrations. But our Raj comics always managed

to bring new and interesting horror concepts to the readers.

I would like to start by saying, I was originally a Nagraj fan since my early

childhood, I was crazy for Nagraj series, But that changed on a one milestone day.

I remember my first THS comic "Hytaari Gend", It was the issue which made me a

huge fan of the series. I remember turning the pages and being amused by the

spooky artwork. I remember getting up the very next morning and realizing that I

had misplaced the comic book. I tried looking around the house, in every corner,

But I could not find it. This really depressed me, But my mother, who was cleaning

the house at the time, found the comic under my bed. Oh, How I was thankful to

her! This one issue is all It really took, I had been won over by RC's Thrill Horror

Series. It became a addiction for me, A very strong connection was made between

a innocent child and the spooky ghosts of RC (hehe). Moreover, Whenever my

father visited the market, I always requested Thrill Horror comics over Nagraj, and

he never disappointed me. I will not forget to tell you, I love my father to death,

Not just for the relationship, Because he understood my desire and the Janoon for

Raj comics. He grew up with Phantom comics and he supported me for my

addiction throughout my childhood. Even when my mother became upset and

yelled at me over my craze, He was still there, After work he would be there with

every new THS and Nagraj issue in his hand. I love him for that, thank you so

much for looking out for me dear pops!

Once he picked me up from school, and we stopped at a local comics shop to

purchase a new THS issue called "Bhago maut jagi". I have been waiting for this

particular issue for a very long time (days turn to months when your comics

crazy!) and I danced in joy as I held the issue in my little hands. As we were riding

on his scooter back home, I told him that "This all looks like a dream", He was

amused by my comment and he gently said "I know how you feel". I had read

many Horror comics in other Indian publications, But honestly, none of them

touched my heart like Raj comics did. Sanjay ji always managed to deliver

something new, something different, something fresh to their fans. This was the

difference between other publications and our RC. Raj comics did it for the fans,

the profession, money never seen as their main objective. It was their genuine

connection to the comics, which helped them survive through the journey. I

remember when "Ek Katoora khoon" was released, I went to the market with my

father and his friend. As much as I love my father, he had one weakness, He could

never consider spending money for the SPCL issues. He always requested

(request, because he did not deny either!) that I purchase general comics first.

But this particular issue caught my eye, the cover was so horrific and creepy, that

I had to have it in my hands. I kept demanding it, They kept trying to change my

mind. Finally (thankfully) my father's friend stepped in and told my father "Kiyo

bacha ko naraz ker raha ho...khreed do yaar". And that's all it took, I still thank my

father's buddy for taking my side. This was the ultimate THS comics I had ever

read, Raj comics really put their heart and soul into this issue and it showed! This

is one of the personal experiences I cannot forget, and it will always sit

comfortably in the corner of my mind.

There was even a time when I was very scared after reading a very scary THS

comics called "Chumgadad". I went to sleep that same night and all I could see

was the Chumgadad (Giant bat) flying around in my dreams, trying to get me! I

woke up shaking and sweating. I did not waste a second and I rushed to my

parents bed. I felt the comfort and security, as I lay between my mom and dad. It

was amazing how Raj comics managed to scare the reader with their artwork and

story lines. This was a art, a skill....not mastered by many at that time. That was

also quite a near death experience for me (hehe). My janoon for this series even

went over my head. It made me steal (gulp), Yes, It even made me steal...can you

believe it!? What does a child like me needed, A comic book and I was willing to

do anything for it. I had lost my most beloved THS issue called "Chamgadad" and I

found out that my nebhiour (also a comics fan) had that issue. My nebhiour had a

younger brother, I was friends with this crazy kid. I made a deal with him that If

he steals me that issue, I will buy him candy. I knew it was wrong, But my demons

out witted my angels. The victory seemed to sweet to a kid like me, Even If it

meant letting my morals loose for one time. Eventually, I had my success and he

had his...poor child! But guess what? I was so clumsy as a kid, I lost that same

issue in few days. In fact, I had lost 80% of my THS issues just by damaging them

or misplacing them.

I remember when the price of comics hiked from R.6 to R.8, It created a great

confusion for me and my parents. I could not forget this one story, I was going to

my after school tuition session and my mother gave me 10 rupees to purchase a

comics on the way. I knew I will be late for my tution, But for me, Comics always

came first...everything last. I went to my local shop and purchased the issue

"Bhayanak Kutta" in THS, The issue said R.6 on it, But I ended up giving R.8 to the

shop keeper. I remember I stuffed the comic in my bag in a hurry and rushed to

my tuition, I was already 5 minutes late and I was waiting for the (well deserved)

punishment. As I arrived there, My tuition teacher gave me the beating of my

life...and I took it like a man! But you know what? To me, as a THS fan, The pain

was nothing, The beating was every bit worth it! Even then, I could not focus on

my tuition, I was constantly looking inside my Bag, trying to get a glimpse of the

comic's artwork. When I came back home, My mother demanded the change

back from me, Because The price tag said R.6 and I had paid R8 to the shop

keeper. I did not want to feel embarrassed, So I told her that I purchased candy

with rest of the money and she gave me a good spanking. As the years went by,

Collecting THS comics and losing them became a hobby, until Raj comics closed

the series down in 1995. I was heart broken, They forced me to read other

substitutes such as Anthony series and Hauu series and they just did not have the

same feel, I felt as if I had lost something important! But What could I do? I have

been looking for a answer to the question to why Raj comics stopped my dear THS

series? I have never felt to hurt in my life. I never would have known, Until I read

the green page in one of the new THS issues. This explained everything and I felt

that Raj comics had taken the right step. I am also thankful to RC for reviving this

series and bringing it back for the hardcore fans. By this, you can tell that Sanjay ji

respects its fan base and they are willing to bring back their favorite series in all

its glory.

Now lets leave the past behind and move along to the present. In 2005, sitting in

my house, reminisce on the past and the memories, I was wondering If I will ever

see these old THS issues again, Because what I had left In India, My grandparents

had given away to the poor kids. Sometimes I felt so emotional, that i wished I

could go back in time and turn all my wrongs to right. I wish I never lost my THS

issues, I wish I had preserved them properly. But it was all too late, there was no

point in going back to the past. But as a human, you never let go of those dear

memories, you still create alternate realities in your mind and wished they were

true. In this respect, I was on the low, So I opened up the Raj comics website, I

posted on the forums, sharing my experience with the other janooni friends,

hoping to leave the painful past behind me. I was the one who created the thread

called "What is your favorite Thrill horror comic?". Then one day I decided to

open up Ebay India and search for Raj comics and to my surprise, Raj comics had

set of 39 Thrill Horror comics up for sale. I danced in joy and It did not take long

for me to hit the "Buy it now" Button. I cannot explain the wave of happiness

which swept over me, It was as If, I had found my lost treasure. As Scientists are

amazed by their big discoveries, This was my big discovery. I was very emotional

at that time...reliving my days of innocence. Infact, The Thrill horror Suspense

series is so damn amazing, that it inspired my brother to learn Hindi in order to

read these comics. I would like to let you know, My young brother is a next

generation child and he is into Manga and other English comics, But when he saw

the THS comics, He was very amused by it. So he went on the internet and began

to study Hindi alphabet day by day. He began to read basic Hindi words within

one week of practice. I could not believe it, It was truly a amazing experience as

he read the Hindi text out loud to me. This proved that motivation and person's

will can prove to do wonders! As the years went by, I made friends with Janooni

fans like Parijat, Karan, Mady, Suraj, Bunty, Anu, Shasid, Arun ji and among others.

In my struggle to complete my THS collection, Parijat gave me a huge helping

hand by purchasing old THS comics from his local shop and sending them to me. I

mean love him for that, Any said positive remarks or words cannot do justice to

my feelings for Parijat. He was a god sent for a fan like me, and I respect him for

all he did for me! I also cannot forget to thank Karan, Shasid, Anu, Bunty, Arun ji

and Mady. They helped me collect many old Raj comics, They are all amazing

people, Much respect to all of these gem of friends!

I have many little memories to share, But If I did, I would end up writing a entire

essay on it. But I let my heart bleed in the form of these words and presented

youwith my most dear memories. I grew up with this series and it holds a special

place in my heart, It's not the memories, But also the strong substance which Raj

comics use to deliver in the past. It was not just the amazing stories and the

artwork, It was Raj comics' Janoon, which made me a huge fan of this series. No

matter what comics I purchased in Raj comics, It was worth everything to me.

There are many few "Thrill Horror Suspense" fans out there and I am one of them.

Many fans generalize on the quality of this series based on the sub-standard new

issues, But I request that they go back and read all the old gems and understand

what THS series truly was. Although Raj comics are working very hard to bring

back that flavor, I feel that they will never succeed in fully getting this series on

track. Because the beauty of this series lies in its simplicity! The artwork was

simple, yet effective, and the stories were not long, But they were also quite

deep. Nowadays, more emphasis is given to special effects and longer story plots,

with moderate success . I hope to see a bright future for this series, Until

then...good night my people. To all the Janooni fans, Heartfelt thanks for keeping

Raj comics alive and well. And for the pirates, just remember, If Raj comics are not

there day after tomorrow, and you are wondering what happened, Look in the

mirror, and you will find the answer to your question. God bless!

PS-My Write up for the "worst series" is going to be a tough one, Because I don't

have any hate in my heart for any Raj comics' series.

Buri Entry : Nagraj

Raj comics...Raj comics...Raj comics.....Same damn name stuck in his head for

the last several decades! Look at him, Eyes closed and babbling Raj comics'

name in his dreams! I had it with him thinking about Raj comics all the

time...even nearing the end....no stopping him! These Raj comics' memories

have been circling his mind non-stop! I had it....

Hey Wake up! Wake up you fool....

*Who*

*What*

*Who are you?*

"I am the spirit which lives within you....In your last moments, I have finally

decided to show myself!

Now...Na..Na...don't look at the ones who are looking back at you! Listen to me,

because this is the only chance I might have to find the answer for the question

"Why!."

*Why...What?*

"Why?? Well, WHY can't you bury Raj comics in the bottomless pits of your

mind! You are stuck on your last breath and you still can't seem to give this up

my friend....Damn It has been many years since they left....after the internet

pirates cleared them out of buisness!"

*It's a long story....Where Can I Start...It's in me man!*

"Well....all your memories are about to be wiped out of your mind, as soon as

your power supply hits zero...You will lose everything you have, everything you

lived for, everything you remember! So better start yapping now...Why do you

embrace them!"

"Well, let me start from the Top, I remember the first time when my Father

bought me a comic called "Khoni Khoj" of my super hero Nagraj, It was my first

comic, and I was maybe 5, embracing my innocent childhood, flipping the pages,

adoring the artwork. I don't even remember how long ago that was, it has been

ages.Well, I could not read at that point, It was my imagination which helped

me visualize the story plot by looking at the pictures. Many years went

by....Nagraj became a idol. I truly admired his courage, His mission to wipe out

the terrorism from the face of earth. I loved everything about him, If there was

a new issue on the market, I had to have it! Many kids tried to trade me

diamond comics, toys for Nagraj comics, But they never got lucky with the

trade! Well,You can say, That Nagraj was like a life supply for me, My Life

seemed very empty without him."

But There were so many other publications at that time, Why only Raj comics?

"Well....look at it this way! When you find new friends, Do you forget your first

best friend!? When you watch other sports, do you forget Cricket? When you

see many different religions, do you forget your own? Raj comics were like a

"best friend" and everything else for a innocent kid like me. They kept me

motivated throughout my childhood years. They gave a kid the super heroes he

will never forget...a unique life long experience. This helped me form a life time

emotional connection with Raj comics...which will most likely....break in pieces

today...."

Well, I am hearing nothing but good things, But was there a time, When Raj

comics let you down? Was there a time, When you felt some anger towards Raj

comics?

"Well, Raj comics publications is run by humans, and as humans, we all make

mistakes. Some mistakes are forgiven, But some mistakes will haunt you for rest

of your life. Some Mistakes are small, Some mistakes are big. In this respect, Raj

comics had made some mistakes throughout their career, and I must admit,

They have made many mistakes with the dear Nagraj series. There were

mistakes, which left me very upset! I will try to breakdown the cons and

negative aspects. This is going to hurt my heart, But I will speak my mind for the

truth's sake!

As I already pointed out, I left reading Nagraj in 1995 and returned to Raj comics

in 2004. I did not get to experience the whole "Mahanagar" plot change in

Nagraj series. I had the mentality that Nagraj was still going against the evil

terrorists of the world. I came across a online Nagraj comics called "Nahi

Bachaga Nagraj" on the old Raj comics site and It left me in a shock! The first

thing that hit me was the artwork, To tell you the truth, I thought the Artwork

was very degrading, with bright childish look, cute bubbly looking characters. I

was not aware that the artwork was done by Mr Anupam Sinha. I read the story

and I could not believe what I just read. It was completely opposite from what I

was expecting. I was expecting my heroic Warrior, going against some powerful

foe, like the earlier issues. But here, I was seeing Nagraj fighting a dum looking

nameless Robot, trying to Save some fat kid's life (He was Sulu BTW!). This was

pathetic, It turned me off, I became very upset over what this series had

become. I was so out of my mind, that I even tried to take this comics as a joke.

But I quickly learned that this is what Nagraj series had become.

I mean, Nagraj forgetting his mission of clearing the world from terrorism and

choosing life of a reporter, Does this sound like Nagraj to you? In his first

comics, Nagraj took the word that he will fight terrorism and until then, He will

not rest! By converting Nagraj in a haste, not only Raj comics have created a

huge loophole, But it also brings down the respect and credibility of Nagraj in

general. I could have perfectly understood, If Raj comics had made this change

in slow process, including events, which would eventually change the way

Nagraj would think. But this change was made just after "Khajana" series and It

seemed too sudden, too unexceptionable for Nagraj to turn away from his

mission due to some small cause. I was not satisfied! This was the major change

which hurt my heart, But there were many mistakes which I did not like.

I ordered the complete Nagraj set from Ebay India in 2006 and I Started reading

this series from scratch. When I started reading the "Post Khajana" Nagraj

issues, something Hit me hard. Let me put it in perspective-Nagraj living in a

city, Alter ego as a naive TV reporter, wearing thick glasses. A alter ego of a hero

with no face mask. It makes me say, "hello Clark Kent, I mean...Raj!". But

seriously, Out of all major RC super heroes, Nagraj was given the weakest and

most predictable alter ego. Does this make sense to you? If Parmanu can be a

loyal police officer, Shakti a hospital nurse, Doga a body builder, Why couldn't

Raj comics think of a better and yer original alter ego for our hero Nagraj. This

was result of poor planing as I see it!

Well, Speaking of poor planing, The writer created many unexpected changes in

Nagraj's mentality after the Khajana series ended. Nagraj's loyalty changed for

no apparent reason. For example, Nagraj use to praise "Baba Gorknath" for his

guidance, Then he started to praise "Dev Kaaljayai" out of the blues. It was as If,

all the sudden, Nagraj realized that "Dev Kaljayai" is much more relevant then

his long time mentor "Baba Gorknath". Does this makes sense to you? Nagraj

dumping his old "guru" In favor of a new guru, who has a strong connection to

the "Nag jati". I would call this "Discrimination" on Nagraj's part, But I say it's

Ignorance on the writer's part. And then there was the supposed swearing by

Nagraj for not killing any living being. This would have been relevant, But the

problem is that the writer never showed Nagraj taking such vows in any issue up

to date. It would have been nice, If the writer actually made a milestone issue in

the series, Where some major event Occurs In Nagraj's life and he decides not

to kill anyone ever again, But it was not so. All this seemed like a poor attempt

at placing Nagraj above all heroes, In terms of his moral values. In realizing

these flaws, the reader can safely generalize that Mr. Anupam Sinha read very

little knowledge about Nagraj's past. Because in my perspective, If he read the

Nagraj Saga, These mistakes would have never occurred. Also, It makes some

sense that Nagraj decides to spare humans, But why did he chose to spare

monsters/creatures who try to end his life. In many countless issues, Nagraj

would rather face life threatening situations, then put that evil foe to the

ground. Ahem, I think the writer went to over the top with this thing.

Other major weakness is the intimate relationship of Nagraj. If you thought

Vinay (Parmanu) and Bhokal had the most complicated intimate relationship,

then you better think again my friend. The biggest player in Raj comics circle is

without a doubt Nagraj. First he falls in love with vispari, and he was unable to

merry her. After, Nagraj leaves vispari to live with a stranger woman called

"Bharti" and he marries her in nagayan. Then some "Nagrani" comes from the

another demansion and becomes Nagraj's baby's mother. If this did not

complicate things, Raj comic's tried to show Nagraj in a affair with saudhagi on

"I Love you" trading cards in late 1990s. Now if you think about it, that's 4 ladies

Nagraj had some type of affair with. No, we are not done here,

ahem...remember the random ladies in Nagraj's world tour series (new and old).

It's good to see Nagraj getting lucky, But the question is of credibility and

respect, and this fact hurts Nagraj in both terms. Speaking of this, The

relationship between Nagraj and Bharti never grew or advanced further. I mean,

come on, They both live together, work together, and they still act like they did

in earlier issues. The theory of "two beings staying close and falling in love"

does not seem relevant here, another major loophole in the series. Yes, Nagraj's

first love was vispari, But times have changed my friend, You are living a single

life with a woman who loves you to death!

Now going back to the Alter ego arguement I made earlier, Have you ever

considered that Nagraj is to Raj comics, what Superman is to "DC comics"? No, I

am not talking about his status, What I am taking about is Nagraj's super

powers. This is another one of his major weaknesses. Raj comics have granted

so many super powers to Nagraj, That there seems to be no real challenge left

for him to concer. If you think about it, He is the character with most super

powers in the Raj comics universe. The writer had considered no balance, when

introducing these new powers to us and it shows in later issues. Its apparent

when Nagraj clears his foes without breaking a sweat! A very lucky fellow,

considering Doga and Dhruva have 1/20 of what he has! The craze of showing

Nagraj in superior status is not a new one. Actually, Raj comics attempted to

prove this fact in the earlier stages of Nagraj series, with the release of "Nagraj

aur Jadugaar Shakura". In the comics, Mr. Sanjay Gupta (at that time "Raja")

showed Nagraj saving three major super heros named Superman, Spiderman

and Batman from some alien being called "Jadugar Shakura". Nagraj managed

to defeat Jadugar Shakura with flying colors, The foe who brought a super

power like "Superman" to his knees. Superman is nearly immortal, He is far

more powerful then Nagraj in actual fact, and yet Nagraj was shown as a far

superior being....having no equals! This is what I call "Glamorization" of Nagraj,

and It worked like a charm back in the days.

Another heart breaking aspect of post 1995 Nagraj series is the lack of original

villains. In countless issues, Nagraj has been facing his uncle "NagPhasha", who

apparently acquired "Immortality", So he cannot be killed. In spite of keeping

the series fresh and interesting, The writer must create new and interesting

villains, But this is not the case with Nagraj. In fact, Raj comics have dragged this

foe in so many series, that Fans are starting to complain about it. If this was not

enough, Raj comics also managed to drag "Guru Dev" and the infamous

"Nagina" in countless issues over the years. It would make sense If the writer

lacked imagination, But we are talking about Mr.Anupam Sinha here, the

imagination power house. He gave us such amazing plots, Why couldn't he give

us some unforgettable baddies. Personally, I can't stand "Nagina", I am very

glad that shes dead in Nagayan! I know she will be back...But at least we are

safe to know that she gets what she deserves in the not so distinct future.

Speaking of "Characters", Anyone noticed another downgrade in the recent

Nagraj issues. Yes, I am talking about the so called "Chota Nagraj", He has been

stealing the spotlight from Nagraj lately. What is this all about? Raj comic's over

looking It's main icon, and giving more priority to the newly introduced

characters in the series. I first met this character in "Chota Nagraj", which, quite

honestly, was a great comics at the time. But then the success of this comics

pushed Chota Nagraj to his popularity among readers and Raj comics decided to

work this same formula for the next several issues. There was not balance in

these comics at all. The writer portrayed "Chota Nagraj" as a superior character,

The proof can be found in "Bhanumati ka Pitara", were our kiddo Nagraj

supposdly saves Nagraj from the dark powers! This type of plot treatment works

for new readers, But for long term fans like me, I cannot swallow the fact that a

mini Nagraj is here to steal the Number one spot from my Nagraj. Thankfully,

This is hardly the case in the new Nagraj stories, I am glad Raj comics saw it my

way.

Other aspect of post Khajana comics that bothered me was the artwork. Don't

get me wrong, Mr. Anupam Sinha is a great artist, But he does not do justice to

Nagraj like Pratap Mullik ji did. Nagraj looks like he has been taking "Steroids"

and hitting the gym for 3 hours a day. His figure is too bulk for my liking, He did

not look like the Nagraj I remember. I know that many fans have no problem

with this, But I much prefer the old style Nagraj-less bulky in physical

appearance, But still a unstoppable power house. Mr. Anupam Sinha's artwork

did not advance with time, So we have been seeing same type of artwork for

the last decade in the modern Nagraj series.

Now in conclusion, don't get me wrong, Mr. Anupam Sinha's have delivered us

with some unforgettable Nagraj classics, such as the Khajana series, Mahayudh

series, and Agraj series. But at the same time, he gave us many fillers. It always

seemed that he was more committed to Super Commondo Dhruva and the

combo/ multistar comics. I am sure he did not do this on purpose, as he was

handling many series at one time. The fact is that many fans felt that it was a

superior step to pass Nagraj to Anupam sir, But This change did not satisfy a

hardcore fan like me. That is why I am so glad that Raj comics have created a

separate "World tour series" for its senior fan base. All in all, did not mean to

sound overly negative, I am glad Raj comic's had the ability to satisfy the masses

with the right decisions, and I am sure they will continue to do so. Now I am

done criticizing the modern Nagraj series, It's time to move on to my

emotions...now I will tell you what I love about it! Let me start off back in

1989.....

Wake up! Wake up! Ajay....Wake up!

Look at him, laying on the floor...uttering nonsense! Must have hurt himself

pretty bad!

What...happened? I thought I am about to die, I was talking to my inner spirit

about Raj comics!

Where is my inner spirit!?

These comics have really gotten to your head son, You were rushing to the door

to receive your prize comics from your friend mohit and the next thing I know,

you tripped and hit you head on the wall! I heard a big thud...I came rushing!

you were unconscious for little while, babbling stuff about Nagraj. What was

that about???

Nothing Mom, I was just taking a trip down the memory lane, I am glad to be

back!

Now next time, you are not going to rush to the door, let me handle it! Foolish

boy!

Nagraj has always been a confident symbol of righteousness and truth,but

sometimes the strongest walls of confidence crumble beneath the situations life

presents in front of us.Nagraj has undergone several changes in the last few

months,and these changes are not for the better.....................

Nagraj ka bartaav kuch dino se badla hua sa lagne laga hai,aur poora Mahanagar ye

badlaav dekh raha hai.Ab wo pahle ki tarah muskarata nahi.Bacche ko paas jaane

se bhi wo katrane laga hai.Kai baar apradh ke samay wo pahuch nahi pa raha,aur

khoya-khoya rahne laga hai,aur har samy uska dhyan kahi aur laga rahta hai.Bharti

aur Vedacharya bhi pareshan hain,kyonki wo ab hamesha ki tarah crimefighting ke

beech mein ghar nahi aata,balki idhar udhar bhatakta rahta hai,maano kuch khoj

raha ho.

Bharti usse baat karne ka prayatana karti hai,par wo bina kuch jawab diye nikal

jaata hai.Udhar Nagraj ko sapno mein dikhti hai ek chhote bacche ki parchayi,jo

use thoda aur intjaar karne ko kah rahi hai.Nagraj usse koi kagaj mangta hai,par wo

dene se inkar kar deti hai,aur isi mod pe sapna baar baar toot jata hai.In sab ke

beech Nagraj ki anjaan talash lagatar jari hai,aur wo baar-baar Truck Agencies

mein ja kar Truck drivers se pooch-taach karta rahta hai.Use shayad kisi Truck

driver ki talash hai!

Nagraj ka vyavhar din-par-din kathor hota ja raha hai,ab wo kam bolta hai,aur suni

aankho se shunya ko niharta rahta hai.Din-din bhar Truck Drivers ko khojta rahta

hai,parantu Nagraj ko use parchayi aur kagaj ke sapne lagatar aate rahte

hain.Aakhirkaar bahut koshisho ke baad Bharti Nagraj ko batane par majbur kar

deti hai wo ghatna jiske karan Nagraj ka ye haal hua hai...................

Kuch hafto pahle Mahanagar mein raat ke 9 baje ek 7-saal ke bacche ki

kidnaapping ka prayas hua tha jisne Nagraj ne aakar asafal kiya tha.Nagraj us

bacche ko ghar pahunchane uske ghar ki taraf chalta hai.Wo baccha Nagraj ka

bahut bada fan rahta hai aur raaste bhar Nagraj se baate karta rahta hai.Nagraj uske

ghar se jara si dur aakar ruk jata hai aur bacche ko kahta hai wo yahan se ghar

chala jaaye kyonki use kahin se jasoos sarpo ke sanket mil rahe the.Baccha jid

karta hai ki Nagraj use ghar ja kar uske Mommy-Papa se mile par Nagraj use

samjhata hai ki uska jaana jaruri hai.Tab baccha ek pen aur kagaj nikalkar Nagraj

se autograph maangta hai.Nagraj jaldi-jaldi mein use autograph deta hai aur jaane

ko mud jata hai.Udhar baccha bhi daudte hue apne ghar ki or jaane lagta hai.Tabhi

ek cheekh Nagraj ke kaano tak pahunchati hai aur wo dekhta hai ki wo baccha

sadak par khoon se lathpath pada hai aur ek truck teji se wahan se ja raha hai.Truck

ne bacche ko takkar maar di thi.Us bacche ke mata-pita aawaj sun kar bahar aate

hain aur apne chote se bacche ki laash dekhkar hatprabh rah jate hain.Nagraj wahi

thaga se khada rah jata hai,na us truck ka peecha karta hai aur na hi un badkismat

mata pita ko santwana deta hai!Shayad Nagraj apne aap ko bhi us ghatna ke liye

jimmedar maanta hai,aakhir wo us bacche ko ghar tak bhi chhor sakta tha.

Bharti ki ankho mein yeh sab sunkar aansu aa jate hai.Nagraj use apne sapno ke

baare mein bhi batata hai.To Bharti kahti hai ki usse acchi tarah ye baat wo baccha

hi samajh sakta hai.Wo kahti hai ki Nagraj baar-baar apne aap ko us ghatna ke liye

jimmedar maanta hai.Shayad apne sapne ke dwara wo apni galti ka prayshchitt kar

le.Nagraj Bharti ke kahne par neend lene lagta hai.Sapne mein phir se use wo choti

parchayi dikhai deti hai.Nagraj uske paas jaata hai aur usse kahta hai ki ye Nagraj

ki galti hai ki us bacche ki maut hui.Parchayi kuch nahi bolti hai,bas Nagraj ko ek

kagaj deti hai aur gayab ho jati hai.Nagraj kagaj kholta hai aur dekhta hai ki

usmein sirf ek shabd likha hua hai,'MAAFI'.Nagrak ki neend khulti hai,saamne

Bharti khadi rahti hai.Wo pucchati hai ki ab wo kaisa hai!Nagraj koi jawab nahi

deta hai balki bahar ki taraf nikal jata hai.Bharti sochti hai ki uski baato ka Nagraj

par koi asar nahi hua.

Nagraj ek baar phir Truck Agencies ki talash mein nikal padta hai.Bahut khojbben

ke baad use us Driver ka naam pata malum chalta hai.Nagraj uske ghar pahunchata

hai.Wo driver use dekhte hi ghabra jata hai aur paanv pakad kar usse maafi

mangne lagta hai.Wo batata hai ki us samay wo apni agency ke truck mein apni

garbhvati patni ko le ja raha tha,jise turant aspatal pahunchana jaruri tha.Ye kahkar

wo phhot-phoot kar rone lagta hai.Nagraj ko us kagaj par likhe shabd yaad aa jate

hai aur wo uski peeth par haath rakhta hai aur kahta hai ki,"Maine tumhe maaf

kiya!"

Is ghatna ke kuch ghante baad ek najdiki Police Station mein ek aadmi "Hit &

Run" ka apna gunah kabul raha tha.Use saja hui,parantu wo jara bhi vichalit nahi

tha.Shayad isliye ki wo andar hi andar jaanta tha ki wo ek paap ka prayschit kar

raha hai,shayad isliye ki Nagraj ne usw maaf kar diya ta,ya phir isliye ki uski patni

ne ek swasth shishu ko janm diya tha aur is poori ghatna ki coverage karne wale ek

ashcharyajanak roop se dayalu channel,Bharti Communications ne uske biwi-

bacche ki jimmedari li thi.

1 hafte baad,ab purana Nagraj wapas aa chuka hai.Ab wo pahle ki tarah hi bartav

kar raha hai.Poora Mahanagar apne Hero ko phir se pakar khush hai.

Udhar Bharti Vedacharya ko ye poori ghatna batati hai.Vedacharya kahte hai

ki,"To aakhirkar Nagraj ne us Truck driver ko maaf kar diya."Jawab mein Bharti

kahti hai ki,"Use to Nagraj ne bahut pahle maaf kar diya hoga,asaliyat mein usse

pahle to Nagraj ko apne aap ko maaf karna tha..................................."

Nagdweep par -ve vish wale naago ka hamla hua aur dhruv ko mili nagraj ki

shaktiyaan...kya hoga ab??

Andaman ke ek dweep par maujood ek naag kuch dhoond rahahai…ye naagraath

hai jo vishaala ka ek sevak hai.isme vishala ka hi vish hai…ise apni prajaati basane

ke liye sfatik mani ki zaroorat hai..ye mani haasil karne me roda hai nagraj ..jisse

nagraath ko khatra hai.ye vishaala ke niwaas me ek mani dhoond raha hai jo

naagshaktiyon ko cheen leti hai.

Mani milne ke baad wo garlangat ke aaradhna karke kai shaktiyaan prapt karta

hai aur wo nagraath ko mahashaktishaali banane ki baat kehta hai agar nagraj ki

bali mili.idhar nagraj bharti communication ke rajnagar branch dwara ek school ke

udghaatan me aaya hai,saath me dhruv bhi hai..nagraath pahuchta hai nagraj ko

maarne …lekin nagraj aur dhruv uska muqabla karte hain…nagraath ki shaktiyon

se na parichit hone ke karan wo haarne lagte hain..idhar dhruv nagraath ki sena se

lad raha hai..apni samast tantrik shakti ka prayog kar wo nagraj ko qaid kar leta hai

aur apni mani se uski shaktiyaan kheech leta hai.ab nagraj ek aam manav ban

chuka hai..idhar dhruv aata hai..wo muqabla to karta hai lekin naagraaath apni

shaktiyon ka prayog karne ja raha hai..tabhi uspar dhruv ke ishaare par pakshiyon

ka hamla hota hai ..is achanak hue hamle se wo sambhal nahi paata auruski shakti

mani se hote hue dhruv par aati hai.asavdhaan dhruv bach nahi paata aur behosh

ho jaata hai..idhar nagraath nagraj ko apne saath le jaata hai..dhruv par kisi ka

dhyaan nahi jaata jiska roop badal raha hai..

Ab nagraath nagdweep par hamla bolta hai..koi uske vish ka saamna nahi kar paata

aur saare wasi coma me chal jaate hai..sirf visarpi hi bachti hai aur nagraj ko

khojne nikal padti hai…kaafi khojbeen ke baad use nagraj nahi mila to wo dhruv

ke paas gayi jo behosh pada hai..kaafi der baad dhruv hosh me aata hai to visarpi

ko dekhkar hairaan hai…vispari usse gale milkar bahut roti hai aur saara maajra

batati hai..lekin dhruv apne me hue badlaav se abhi anjaan hai..Wo C.F

इॊसानों की एक फहुत फडी कभजोयी होती है...रयश्ते ..जरूयी नहीॊ की रयश्ते खून के ही हों..वो प्माय, भभता औय दोस्ती जैसे रयश्ते बी हो सकते हैं..औय कुछ अनकहे रयश्ते बी होते हैं, जैसे

ऩयभाणु औय ददल्री का..इन दोनों का रयश्ता तो शामद ऩयभाणु बी न फता ऩाम औय न कोई

ऩयभाणु को ददल्री की छत ऐसे ही नहीॊ कहा जाता है. ऩयभाणु ने कई फाय छत फनकय

ददल्री को तफाही की फारयश से फचामा है. ऩय छत को बी सभम सभम ऩय ऩरयवततन की जरुयत होती है ताकक वो आन ेवारे तूपानों, आॊधी से फचाव कय सके.

ददल्री अफ ददल्री नहीॊ यही है...योज भडतय, चोयी, येऩ, रूट के ककस्से फढते ही जा यहे हैं. गरती मसपत ऩुमरस वारों की ही नहीॊ है..आभ आदभी की बी है जो वो आॉखों के साभने हो यहे

वावऩस आ यहा था. दकुानें अबी बी खुरी हुई है..चायों तयप यौशनी हो यही है, दयू से कोई

रडका बागता हुआ आ यहा है...औय ववनम की जीऩ से टकया गमा. ववनम अचानक ख्मारों से फाहय आमा था ऩय टकयाते टकयाते उसने ब्रेक भाय ही दी थी. ववनम तुयॊत फाहय उतया, रडके को ज्मादा चोट नहीॊ रगी थी, फस थोडा सा नछर गमा था. रोगों ने बीड जभा कय दी.

“अये ! देख कय नहीॊ चरा सकते? ददखता नहीॊ है तमा?”

“ऩुमरस वारे हो तो भन भर्ज़ी कयोगे तमा? दसूयों को फोरते हो ऩरयवहन के ननमभ का ऩारन

कयो, खुद नहीॊ कयते!”

ववनम का भन तो हुआ की दोनों को एक-एक झाऩड यसीद दे. ऩय उसने अऩना ध्मान वहाॉ से

हटा कय फच्च ेको देखने भें रगा ददमा.

“तमा हुआ फेटा , ज्मादा तो नही रगी?”

“अॊकर, अॊकर भेयी दीदी को कुछ गुॊड ेऩयेशान कय यहे हैं औय भेयी भम्भी से साया साभान

छीन मरमा..सफुक,..”रडका योने रगा..उसे शामद अऩनी चोट से ज्मादा अऩनी भाॉ औय

अऩनी दीदी की क़िक्र थी...रयश्ते..

ववनम ने साभने देखा...वो गुॊड ेअबी बी वहीीँ थे..वो उठा औय उनके ऩास चरा गमा.

“अये..बाई साहफ तमों ऩयेशान कय यहे हैं इन्हें?”

“तू कौन है फे? कफाफ-भें-हड्डी..ऩुमरस वारों को भैं जेफ भें रेकय घूभता हू ..जा घय जा अऩने”

“जी..नही भेयी रम्फाई थोडी ज्मादा है...जेफ भैं नही आ ऩाऊॊ गा..शामद आऩ भेयी जेफ भें आ

सके..”

गुॊड ेको गुस्सा आ गमा..औय उसने जोय से एक थप्ऩड ववनम के भुह ऩय भाया..औय उसके

भुह से खून आने रगा. वो दसूया भुतका बी भायने वारा था ऩय ववनम ने उसका हाथ ऩकड

मरमा औय भयोड ददमा औय साथ ही फाकी २ गुॊडों को बी कसके रात भायी. इत्तेपाक की फात थी की वहीीँ नाईट ऩेट्रोक्ल्रॊग की काय बी जा यही थी मे सफ देखकय वो बी भदद के मरए

आ गए औय गुॊडों को फॊदी फना कय रे गमी.

अफ फोरने की फायी ववनम की थी...

“तो आऩ रोग..महाॉ कोई सकत स चर यहा था जो आऩ हाथ फॊधे खड ेहुए थे? मे फच्चा बाग

बाग का रोगों को फुरा यहा था!..हाॉ आऩ दोनों जया फताए आऩ ने इनकी भदद तमों नहीॊ की?”

“व..वो..अगय वो चाकू..गोरी भाय देते तो...”

“तो..तमा ...ज्मादा से ज्मादा आऩ भय ही तो जाते...”

“हैहॊ????”

“हाॉ, अबी बी देय नहीॊ हुई है, जाइमे चुल्रू बय ऩानी भें डूफ जाइमे!”

“..अये फड ेआयाभ से फोर यहे हो...हभाये घय भें हभाया ऩरयवाय है...”

ववनम को भौका मभर गमा था...उसने एक थप्ऩड दे ही ददमा उसे...

”तो मे ककसी का ऩरयवाय नही हैं तमा???”

सफ सय झुका कय खड ेहो गए..ववनम ने आगे कुछ नहीॊ कहा औय अऩनी जीऩ भें फैठ कय घय

की औय चर ददमा.

घय ऩय ववनम ने खाना खामा औय सो गमा. अगरे ददन ववनम की ड्मूटी शाभ को थी.

अगरे ददन यवववाय को:

आज भौसभ फडा अच्छा था..कई ददनों फाद आसभान भें फदर आम ेथे औय फयसात आन ेके

आसाय रग यहे थे. ववनम के पोन की घॊटी फज यही थी कापी देय से...पोन की आवार्ज से

ववनम की आॉख खुरी.

“हेरो!”

“ववनम, भैं प्रोफोट फोर यहा हू ..जल्दी आओ तुम्हाये मरए एक खुश खफयी है...”

ववनम तुयॊत उठा, तैमाय हुआ औय ऩहुॉच गमा फ्मूजन चैम्फय भें.

“तमा हुआ प्रोफोट? ऐसे सुफह सुफह...”

“साभने देखो ववनम स्क्रीन ऩय...”

ववनम ने साभने देखा ... उसके भाभा जी मानन प्रोप. के. के. थे..उनका एक ववसुअर भेसेज

आमा था.

„ववनम फेटा..भैं तुभसे कुछ कहना चाहता हू...जफसे भैं इस अऩयाध की दनुनमा भें आमा , शुरु भें तो सफ कुछ अच्छा रगने रगा ऩैय फाद भें कभी भहसूस होने रगी..भैं बूर गमा था की घय ऩय भेया एक बाॊजा बी है जो भेयी याह देख यहा है,...,फेटा , वऩछरे हादसे से (परमात्मा सीरीज) से भेयी आॉखें खुर गमी हैं..भैं तुम्हाये ऩास अफ वावऩस आ जाना चाहता हू...भुझ े

ऩता है तुभ भुझ ेभेयी गरनतमों के मरए भाप कय दोगे! ऩय तुभ मे बी जानते हो की फुया फनने भें तो एक ऩर कापी है ऩय अच्छा फनना ककसी तऩस्मा से कभ नहीॊ...औय तुभने भेये

बी हो सकता है..ऩय भैं कोमशश करूॉ गा क्जतनी जल्दी आ सकू..भेया इन्तेर्जाय कयना!..औय

हाॉ भैंने तुम्हाये मरए एक सयप्राइर्ज बी बेजा है देखना भत बूरना...‟

“ववनम ...आओ अफ तुम्हाये नए गगफ्ट को देखते हैंतमा बेजा है ..प्रोप. ने!”

प्रोफोट ने एक फटन दफामा औय ननचे से जभीन थोडी सी खखसकी औय उसभे से एक रॊफा सा फतसा ऊऩय आमा. प्रोफोट ने उसे खोरा.

“अये वाह! भाभाजी ने भेये मरए एक नमी ड्रसे बेजी है.....”

“हाॉ, औय मे कापी एडवाॊस बी है...चरो अफ इन्हें ऩहनो..कपय तुम्हें इसके फायें भें फताता हू.”

ववनम ने तुयॊत ही ऩूयी ड्रसे ऩहन री.

“अये प्रोफोट, भैं तो इसको देख कय सोच यहा था की मे ड्रसे भेटर की है जो इसभें इतनी शाइन है औय दयू से देखने भें स्टीर मा ऐसे ही भेटर की सोच यहा था ऩय मे तो कऩड ेजैसी है.”

“हा ववनम, मे ड्रसे असर भें हाई कक्रस्टर मसमरकॉन पाइफय से फनी है, जो तुम्हे ऩुयानी एस्फेस्टोस वारी ड्रसे की खूबफमों के साथ औय बी नमी खूफी देती है..,..तुम्हायी ड्रसे के साथ

हभेशा एक प्रॉब्रभ आती है औय वो ऩॉवय का खत्भ हो जाना..तमूॊकक ऩयभाणु शक्तत तुम्हे

रगाताय नहीॊ मभर ऩाती थी..ऩय अफ ऐसा नहीॊ होगा. इस ड्रसे भें कई छोटे छोटे मसमरकॉन

वपेसत प्राॊट ककमे गए हैं जो ददन भें सोरय उजात का उऩमोग कयके तुम्हे शक्तत देंगी..औय

के मरए..ववनम..मे ड्रसे स्वचामरत रूऩ से ही तुम्हाये ऊऩय से हट जाएगी.”

उसके फाद ववनम ड्रसे रेकय चरा गमा...औय शाभ तक भाभा जी के फायें भें ही सोचता यहा. ऩय कही औय कुछ औय ही चर यहा था.

“तमा हुआ ..ऐसे भुह रटकाए तमों आ यहे हो? मभरा?”

“नही, अल्पा, ऩूयी रैफ छान भायी ऩय कहीॊ नहीॊ मभरा”

“तुभ दोनों ककसी काभ के नहीॊ हो! उस प्रोप. को बी बी अबी अऩयाध छोडने की सनक

रगनी थी? औय १-२ सार फाद जाता तो हभ महाॉ के फादशाह फन जाते.”

“ऩय अल्पा माय, वो जा तो यहा है..औय हभ उसे योक बी नही सकते...कहीॊ उसने सायी फातें ऩुमरस को फता दी तो??”

“नहीॊ गाभा , ऩहरी फात वो ऐसा नहीॊ कयेगा औय कयेगा बी तो वो जानता है की ऩुमरस

हभाया कुछ नहीॊ बफगाड सकती औय न ही अफ ऩयभाणु..उसकी अफ हय शक्तत का तोड है

हभाये ऩास हा हा ...फस एक फाय वो वेव फार हभाये हाथ आ जामे..ऩय ऩता नहीॊ उसने फुड्ढे ने

वो फार कहाॉ छुऩाई है?”

का गरत हाथों भें जाने का डय रग यहा था..ऩय अफ भैंने वो ऐसी जगह छुऩा ददमा है, की वो तमा उनका फाऩ बी नही ढूॊड ऩाएगा!”

सोभवाय का ददन.

ववनम ने अऩनी नई ऩयभाणु ड्रसे जीऩ भें यखी औय ऩुमरस स्टेशन चर ददमा. स्टेशन ऩहुॉचते ही इॊस्ऩेतटय धनुष औय फाण ने ववनम को जीऩ भें से उतयने से ऩहरे ही योक देते हैं.

“अयेये...तमा कय यहे हो?”

“साहफ जी! गडफड हो गमी है...कनाट प्रेस एरयमा भें एक ये-भैन नाभ का अजीफ सी चीर्ज

आ गमी है...औय वहाॉ तफाही भचा यहा है.”

ववनम ने तुयॊत जीऩ भोडी औय उसी ददशा भें घूभ गमा. ये-भैन ने कनाट प्रेस के याह चरते रोगों को अऩनी ये भें फॊद कय ददमा था..ववनम उतया..उसने फन्दकू ननकारी ऩय फाकी ऩुमरस

वारे बी गोरी ही चरा यहे थे औय उस ऩय कुछ खास असय नही हो यहा था..ववनम को ऩता था..ऩयभाणु ही फनना ऩडगेा.

“ऩयभाणु....!!??...ऩयभाणु....अये प्रोफोट ने तो कहा था की भेये ऩयभाणु फोरते ही ड्रसे अऩने

आऩ भुझ ऩय कवय हो जाएगी.? कपय अफ तमा हुआ?”

ववनम ने ड्रसे को ननकरा..

“ओह ..शीट...भैन जल्दफाजी भें भैं ऩुयानी ऩयभाणु ड्रसे ऩहन आमा..हम्भ..चरो ओल्ड इस

गोल्ड इसीको ऩहन रेता हू.” ववनम ऩयभाणु फना औय ये-भैन के ठीक ऊऩय ऩहुॉच गमा. ऩयभाणु ने ऩयभाणु छल्रों वाय उसके हाथ ऩय ककमा जहाॉ से ककयणे ननकर यही थी. ककयणों का ननकरना फॊद हो गमा.

ये-भैन ने ऊऩय देखा ऩयभाणु उड यहा था..

“ऩयभाणु...हा हा ..अफ तू नही फचेगा...भैं तुझ ेही देखना चाहता था...मे देख भेयी प्रास्भा ये..”

प्रास्भा ये ऩयभाणु को रगी औय ऩयभाणु तडऩ कय यह गमा..उसने अऩनी छाती ऩय देखा, साइड से उसकी ड्रसे पट गमी थी...अगय एक औय प्रास्भा ये का वाय रगा तो वहाॊ उसके

शयीय भें एक फडा छेद ददखाई देगा!..ऩयभाणु अबी मे ही सोच यहा था की..ये-भैन ने कयेंट ये

का वाय कय ददमा..क्जससे ऩयभाणु का साया मसस्टभ बफगड गमा औय उसका प्रोफोट से भदद

रेने का भौका बी चरा गमा. ऩयभाणु ननचे गगय गमा..ये-भैन उसकी औय फढा ही था की

अचानक कुछ उडता हुआ आमा औय उसे गगया गमा..ये-भैन ने साभने देखा ऩयभाणु के साथ

प्ररमॊका खडी थी..

“तू कौन है रडकी?”

“तुभ जैसे कभीनों के मरए प्ररम का दसूया नाभ है..प्ररमॊका हू भैं..”

उसने दो-तीन फाय प्ररमॊका ऩय वाय कया ऩय वो फच गमी...इधय ऩयभाणु को होश आ यहा था..

“अये मे स्क्रीन महाॉ कहा से आई..?” ऩयभाणु ने देखा वहीीँ प्ररमॊका बी थी..

“जरूय मे ही रामी होगी...”

ये-भैन ने दफुाया वाय कया प्ररमॊका रेककन इस फाय ऩयभाणु ने वो स्क्रीन बफच भें पैं क दी..उस

स्क्रीन ने ये-भें द्वाया पैं की गमी ये को ऩरट कय उसी ऩय वाय ददमा औय वो फेहोश हो गमा. ऩयभाणु कपय से फेहोश हो गमा. प्ररमॊका ने ऩयभाणु को उठामा औय अऩने साथ रे गमी.

“उ़ि, मे प्ररमॊका अगय बफच भें नहीॊ आती तो आज ऩयभाणु खतभ था!”

“हा अल्पा, अफ हभें कपय से कोई नमा प्रान फनाना ऩडगेा!” फीटा फोरा.

इधय भीडडमा ऩय खफयें ़ैिर गमी थी. „ऩयभाणु को फचामा प्ररमॊका ने...‟

शीना ने बी मे खफय जफ टीवी ऩय देखख तो उसए जरन होने रगी..उसे अच्छा नहीॊ रगा प्ररमॊका का ऩयभाणु के साथ होना.

फ्मूजन चैम्फय.

“अये ऩयभाणु, मे तमा हो गमा तुम्हे? तुम्हायी नई ड्रसे कहाॉ है?”

“वो..आह..भैंने गरती से ऩुयानी ड्रसे यख री थी...”

“ओह ऩयभाणु तुभ बी न! अगय प्रोफोट भुझे वो स्क्रीन रेकय न बेजता तो तुभ गए थे सभझो!”

तीन तयप ऩयेशानी फढ़ चुकी थी.

एक-ऩयभाणु को अफ ज्मादा ध्मान देना ऩडगेा दशुभनों के खखराप

दो- अल्पा, फीटा गाभा जरूय अफ कोई न्म खतयनाक प्रान फनाएॊगे

तीन-प्रोप. की गचॊता इस घटना से औय फढ़ गमी थी.

“ऩयभाणु ऩय अफ तुम्हें गचॊता कयने की कोई जरुयत नहीॊ है, अफ भैं बी तुम्हाये साथ आ गमी हू..औय अऩयागधमों से रडने भें अफ तुम्हायी भदद करुॉगी.”

ऩयभाणु घय की ओय चर ददमा...ऩय घय जाने से ऩहरे वो शीना के घय गमा. शीना वहाॊ नायार्ज फैठी थी..

“अये तमा हुआ? ऐसे कैसे फैठी हो?”

“आ गए तुभ उस रडकी के साथ भौज भना के ...पुसतत मभर गमी तुम्हे?”

“कौन..कौनसी रडकी की फात कय यही हो तुभ...?”

“वो ही ..जो तुम्हें उठा कय रे गमी थी चुडैर...”

“उ़ि!! शीना वो मसपत भेयी दोस्त है उसने कई फाय भेयी जान फचामी है..”

दोनों भें फहस शुरू हो गमी औय गुस्से भें आकय ऩयभाणु चरा गमा.

कहानी महाॉ से थोडी तेज हो जाती है..बफच की चीर्जें छोड दी गमी हैं.

अल्पा, फीटा औय गाभा ने ददल्री ऩय हभरा फोर ददमा ...ऩयभाणु बफच भें आ गमा...

“भम्भी वो आसभान ने नमा सुऩय हीयो कौन है?”

“फेटा, वो ऩयभाणु ही है ऩय उसने अऩने कऩड ेफदर मरए हैं..”

अल्पा ”अये, मे कौन है?”

ऩयभाणु “ध्मान से देखो ..भैं ऩयभाणु ही हू...जफ तुभ योज नमी शक्ततमों का इस्तेभार कयते हो तफाही भचन ेके मरए तो भैं तमों नहीॊ?”

उसी सभम गाभा फोरा “अल्पा, भुझ ेमकीॊ नही हो यहा है..हभ क्जस वेव फार को इधय उधय

ढूॊड यहे थे वो तो ऩयभाणु के अॊदय है...”

मे फात सुनते ही..तीनो एक जार फनाते हैं...अल्पा अऩनी ऩॉवय फीटा के साथ जोड कय

ऩयभाणु ऩय हभरा कयता है. औय मे ऩॉवय ऩयभाणु के अॊदय डारी वेव फार से येअतट कय

जाती है..चायों तयप यौशनी ़ैिर जाती है..औय फस तफाही भचाने वारी ही होती है की प्रोप.

वहाॊ आ जाते हैं औय ऩयभाणु की भदद कयते हैं ऩय इस भें उनको फहुत फुयी चोट रगती है

औय वो भयणासन हो जाते हैं. वो प्रोफोट को फुराते हैं..प्रोफोट गाभा औय फीटा की हारात फुयी कय देता है..ऩय वावे फार की ककयणे उसको खत्भ कय देती है.उनकी हारत देखकय ऩयभाणु

को गुस्सा आ जाता है औय वो तीनो को भाय देता है...इसभें उसकी भदद शीना औय प्ररमॊका बी कयती है.

प्रोप. को हॉक्स्ऩटर रे जामा जाता है जहाॉ डॉ. उन्हें फचा रेते हैं. ऩयभाणु को नमी ऩॉवसत तो मभरती ही हैं साथ ही भाभाजी वावऩस मभर जाते हैं. औय शीना का बयोसा मभर जाता है.

मे स्टोयी मसपत छोटे से आईडडमा ऩय फनामीॊ है..इसमरए ज्मादा फढामा नही गमा है.

Dhruv: insaaf ki duniya me tumhara swaagat hai Nakshatra.

Nakshatra: kaisa insaaf Dhruv? jab tum apne maa-baap ki maut ka badla lene

nikle to tumhe mila ek naye ma-baap aur ek behan ka pyar aur bahut saari izzat.

aur jab main apne baap ki maut ka badla lene nikla to mujhe mili jail??? mujhe

behkaya gaya, ye kya meri galti thi? ye duniya sabko izzat nahi deti. tumhari

kismat achchi thi. meri kharab. ye samaaj mujhe kabhi nahi apnaayega. mujhe

akela chod do.

Dhruv: tum kya sochte ho ki hamare sath jo hota hai wo grah-nakshatron ka khel

hai? hum chahe to khud apni kismat badal sakte hain.

par Nakshatra nahi sunta aur chale jaata hai aur Dhruv dekhta reh jaata hai.

Kaal gyaata: dhruv, maana ki ye samay tumhare liye bura nahi hai, par ye samay

mere liye bahut achcha hai. tum mujhe pakad hi nai sakte.

idhar dhruv bhag kar samudra ki taraf jata hai, aur ek dolphin se sitiyon ki bhaasha

me baat karne lagta hai.

Dhananjay: tumne kya socha tum hamse hamara yantra chura loge to hum waisa hi

dusra yantra nahi bana sakte? tum hame zakhmi haalat me mile, hum tumhe

swarna nagri lekar gaye aur tumhara ilaaj kiya aur badle me tum hamara ek keemti

Kaal Gyata: lekin tumhe pata kaise chala ki main Nakshatra ko kaun se kaal me

lekar gaya hun?

Dhananjay: ek aur bewkufi bhara sawaal....are ye yantra humne banaya hai, hum

ise trace bhi kar sakte hain aur pata kar sakte hain ki is yantra ka prayog kar k tum

kaun se kaal me gaye ho..aur fir aise hi dusre yantra se hum bhi is kaal me aa

gaye..bas iski ek kamzori hai...jis jagah par is yantra ka prayog kiya gaya hai, usi

Dhruv: mujhe pata tha ki tum nakshatra par hamla kar sakte ho isliye hum dono

nakshatra k ghar par najar rakhe hue the. aur kyunki tumne is yantra ka prayog

Nakshatra k ghar me kiya to hum bhi ghar k andar aa gaye aur Dhananjay ne

tumhe trace kar liya.

Kaal gyata phir se andha dhundh goliyan chalata hai par dhruv furti se uski

bandook ki naal ko upar ki taraf kar deta hai jisse goliyan chath par lag jati hain,

aur wo usse se gun cheen leta hai. phir dhruv-nakshatra ek ek punch me charon

gundo ko behosh kar dete hain.

Dhruv: ab tum bach k kahan jaoge?

Kaal gyata: tum bhul rahe ho dhruv ki ye kaal mere liye nahi balki nakshatra k liye

bura hai. tum mujhe pakad hi nahi sakte.

use bachane k liye dive marta hai aur isse pehle ki ghar ka malba dhruv-nakshatra

hai...har baar kuch na kuch aisa ho jata hai ki ise bhaagne ka mauka mil jata hai.

Dhruv: iska time kharab karne k liye mujhe bhi iski kundali banwani padegi. aur

iske liye mujhe kisi ki madad chahiye.

aur dhruv sabhi kutton aur chidiyon ko kaam par laga deta hai.

idhar rajnagar k dusre chor par kahin Nostredamas apni lab me baitha kuch prayog

Dhruv: nahi, aisi koi baat nahi hai, bas tumhari yad aa gayi. kya kar rahe ho aajkal?

kya taaron aur nakshatron se dharti k anth ki taarikh puch rahe ho, taaki duniya me

fir koi sansani faila sako?

Nostredamas: nahi dhruv, filhaal to main ek granth likh raha hun. isme duniya k

har insan ka bhavishya hai aur ye ekdum easy to use hogi. koi bhi khud apna

bhavishya padh sakta hai. isse main chahun to logo ko unka bhavishya bata k

karodon kama lun ya fir kisi badi publishing company ko apni kitab k rights

Dhruv: kyu logo ko unka bhavishya bata kar unki zindagi ka maza kharab karna

chahte ho? agar sabko apna bhavishya pata chal gaya to koi use badalne k liye

mehnat hi nahi karega aur life ka suspense khatm ho jayega. agar baat paison ki hai

Kaal gyata: ye dusri baar mera waar vifal ho gaya. ab main aisa waar karunga ki na

dhruv nakshatra ko bachane aa payega aur na hi nakshatra dhruv ko.

iske baad rajnagar me agle 2 din bahut shanti se gujre. nakshatra ka ghar tut jane ki

wajah se dhruv ne use apne ghar me kuch dino k liye rehne ko keh diya. udhar

dhruv k ishare par saare pashu-pakshi din bhar Kaal gyata ko dhundhte rahe, par

usse hona kya tha. Kaal gyata ka kaal achcha chal raha tha. agar dhruv use dhundh

bhi leta to bhi shayad use pakad nahi pata. lekin uski jarurat hi nai padi. raat me

dhruv hamesha ki tarah apni gasht par nikla ki achanak usne apne samne Kaal

gyata ko khada paaya. kaal gyaata ne dhruv k samne ek aayam dwar khola aur

dhruv se kaha, "le dhruv, is dwar k paar ja aur apni mrityu se mil."

Dhruv: main bhala is dwar me kyun jaunga? main baar baar tumhare jaal me fasne

wala nahi.

Kaal Gyata: agar tu nahi gaya to tera mrityu kaal tere ma-baap ka mrityu kaal ban

jayega, vishwas na ho to khud us dwar k paar ja k dekh le.

ye sun kar dhruv darr jata hai aur turant dwar k paar chala jata hai. par dwar k paar

sirf ek khatarnak aur khooni hatyara khada dikhta hai.

hi naam liye ja rahe ho.

Nakshatra: "paagal to ab tum hoge." aur ye kehte hue wo apne chehre se mask

hatata hai aur kaal gyaata dekhta hai ki uske samne 2 dhruv khade hain.

Kaal gyaata: ye kya? do-do dhruv?

Dhruv: "do dhruv nahi, bolo DHRUV-NAKSHATRA." aur ye kehte hue wo bhi

apna mask hatata hai aur kaal dekhta hai ki wo to asal me dhruv ka mask pehne
