Indoor Conference Concluded This past weekend LPHS Lady Track And Field team ended the indoor season at North Central College. This was the final opportunity for the ladies to PR and break records for the Indoor Season. Overall team improvement surpassed last year's results with Varsity improving 3 spots from second to last to 5th place this year. JV improved from last place to 2nd this year! The coaching staff is proud of these ladies efforts and look forward to a highly anticipated outdoor season! SPRINTERS Eight ladies were able to beat the clock on Thursday setting new personal records (PR). Kelly Zehender, Mani Lock and Gigi Guinto all experienced PRs in the 200m dash. Sylwia Iwanicka, Gigi Guinto and Allie Mack set new personal records in the 400m dash. In the 55m hurdles Nicole Hansen and Andie Granskog produced PRs. Finally Anne Mou set a personal record in the 55m dash. JUMPERS Two ladies stood out in the jumping center of the Indoor Arena. Andie Granskog set a personal record in the Long jump and Anne Mou set a personal record in the triple jump. DISTANCE…RUNNERS Kaela Beugnet experienced an Indoor PR for the 800m. She also ran a PR in the 400m dash. Newcomer Shannon Murphy had a PR in the 800m dash. In addition Crystal Lopez had a PR in the 800m dash. Finally Grace Larson had a PR in the Mile dropping 10 seconds. ThrowERS Jada Monroe took the spot light at conference with a PR in the shot put.

Andie Granskog experienced a double PR in both the Long Jump and 55m hurdles. She also broke the JV all-time conference record in the LJ. This lower classman proved to be a crucial contributor to our success at the Indoor Conference Meet. As a result the coaching staff awards Andie with the shield for the week!
