Real Time PSH

V810 SII includes a 64-bit main controller with 128 GB of memory. This new hardware and system architecture changes to optimize it reduce test times signif icantly as compared with V810 SI.

Scan path generation has been updated to reduce unnecessary re-scans, and avoid scanning sections of the panel that are not tested. This feature results in an additional test time reduction that varies with recipe.

The Predictive Slice Heights (PSH) no longer requires a rescan of the entire panel, and so, test time increase is much reduced as compared to V810 SI.

Voiding Support for large Thermal Pads

Phase shif t prof ilometry (PSP2) provides an alternative method for slice height setup. This method enables customers with 100% PTH, extremely warped panels, and other very challenging assembly conf igurations to achieve the correct slice height.

Improvements to the voiding algorithm to suppor t void detection for odd-shaped pads have been included in Series 2.

Suppor t for 3-layer PoP inspection is also added to V810 Series II. Users can add “User Def ined Slices” and modify focus regions in order to achieve 3-slice inspection on up to 3-layers of PoP packages.

V810 SII utilizes point spread function compensation to maximize the clarity on slice images. Crystal Technology is applied to 2.5D images in order to make them more clear and crisp for the repair operator to review.
