Situated in Cluj-Napoca, in the heart of Transylvania, USAMV is a prestigious institution, founded 150 years ago, but

with a modern strategy that aims to extend and promote international cooperation. Our institution is trying to

constantly improve the education process, in teaching, research and outreach, fully complying with European Union

standards..

The educational system has been aligned to the Bologna standards, and the ECTS credit system was introduced in

1998. We provide excellent conditions for study and practical training, professional staff, modern research centers

and practical units, interactive courses at a high scientific level, using English or French degree programs. You can

find various directions for study in the multiple fields offered by our five faculties: Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of

Horticulture, Faculty of Animal Sciences and Biotechnology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Faculty of and

Food Science and Technologies.

You have the possibility to be accommodated in our university dormitories, located 10 minutes away walking fromthe university. The rooms have separate bathroom, bed clothing, internet connection, shared kitchen. The priceis 100 euro/person/month (2 person/room).The students are requested to check-in in the dormitories not earlier than one week before the beginning of theacademic year/semester.

USAMV Campus is the largest campus in Cluj-Napoca. It has impressive facilities such as: a 5000 sq. meters library,a cafeteria, where you can relax between courses/lectures, a students restaurant (Restaurant Agronomia), a modernpub (Agronomia Pub), sport facilities (tennis, football, volleyball and basketball fields and a fitness room), an aquarium, a botanical museum, an agrobotanical garden and a beautiful orchard.
