News from our DBC mission families

The Hallams: WEC, Sydney The family are enjoying their new apartment, and now have a guest room! Jess is helping organise a Prayer Gathering taking place at the end of Oct. Ben is busy with WEC Centre management & maintenance, & is looking forward to the arrival of a volunteer to help finish kitchen renovations.

The Magupas: ONA Network, Tanzania Give thanks to our Lord for Frank's safe trip to Tanzania. Pray for wisdom as Franks feels he should terminate Erica's employment on medical grounds. Erica is the nurse in charge who over the past few months has been struggling with severe pain due to spine injury following a fall. Please pray for Erica's health. The last lot of the 900 cataract packs have arrived, we urgently need about AU$ 2k to clear customs because we can't get tax exempt this time or if we do it will take too long, storage fee will end up more than the tax exemption. Please join us in prayers for funds availability. To support ONA Network financially, please use the special envelopes in the Walkway

Chris & Amy The process of extending their student visas is nearly complete. C&A are also going ahead in their language skills. They are getting serious about exploring long-term placements. J & E are back at school after mid-year holidays—J has 5 half days & E 3 half days per week. They are loving it!
