6ourse registration allows you to select the courses in which you want to enroll.7ro#ided you %eet certain conditions speci!ied !or a concrete course 3its enroll%entpre,re-uisites4 and unless the course is !ull8 your registration will 'e con!ir%ed and

you will 'e enrolled in it. I! you !ail to %eet the conditions8 you will not 'e enrolled.

go to the registration application8 and click on /3Aisplay4 !urther in!or%ation/. :he

colu%n titled as /7osition/ shows your current position. It is also the !ollowing rules

that are applied !or putting the student in a certain position on the waiting list;

1. :he students who ha#e already enrolled in the course occupy the position.

2. :he students enrolled in the !ield the course is directly associated with ha#e a

higher enroll%ent priority than those not enrolled in the !ield.

What deter%ines the student/s !inal position a!ter the application o! these rules is the

ti%e sta%p assigned to the student the %o%ent he0she registers !or the course. I! %orestudents ha#e the sa%e ti%e sta%p8 the student is put into a certain position according

to an internal identi!ication record. In such a situation8 the ti%e sta%p is !ollowed 'y8!or instance8 1)0&8 which says the student/s ti%e sta%p is the 1)th o! the & ones

issued within the sa%e second.

:he a!ore%entioned rules apply to the students enrolled in the ter%8 not the ones who

interrupted their studies.

In the /!urther in!or%ation/ section you can also !ind out whether you are gi#en any

pre!erence in the enroll%ent process 3see *referene48 i.e. whether the course is

directly associated with your !ield o! study. 9ou can also see the 4um&erso! the

students enrolled and o! those who are gi#en pre!erence as well as o! those who arenot.

o :he association o! the course with a !ield o! study listed in the 6ourse

6atalogue changes8 i.e. the nu%'er o! students who are gi#en enroll%ent

pre!erence changes.

=egistration wa#e represents a period during which students o! a certain category areallowed to 'egin to register !or courses. :here are usually !i#e registration wa#es8 i.e.

!i#e di!!erent starts o! registration period intended !or !i#e di!!erent groups o!students8 e#ery ter%. :he !irst registration wa#e is intended !or the students with the

lowest nu%'er o! credits to gain to reach the re-uired total8 the second one !or the

students who ha#e gained hal! the re-uired total8 etc. :he students !alling into the

!irst wa#e are allowed to 'egin their registration on the #ery !irst day o! theregistration period 3at 1*;48 those !alling into the second one %ay do so two

weekdays, all days o! the week e2cept Saturdays8 Sundays8 and pu'lic holidays ,later 3always at 1*;4. ach o! the other wa#es always co%%ences two weekdays

1he first registration !ave%It is only doctoral students and those who need to gain !ewer than )1 credits to reach

the re-uired total that are allowed to start registering !or courses at a gi#en !aculty onthe !irst day o! registration period.

1he seond registration !ave%

:he students who need to gain !ewer than 11 credits to reach the re-uired total are

allowed to start registering !or courses two weekdays a!ter the start o! registrationperiod.

1he third registration !ave%:he students who need to gain !ewer than 1+1 credits to reach the re-uired total are

allowed to start registering !or courses !our weekdays a!ter the start o! registration

period.

1he fourth registration !ave%:he students who need to gain !ewer than $1 credits to reach the re-uired total are

allowed to start registering !or courses si2 weekdays a!ter the start o! registrationperiod.
