1 OBJETIVOSFamiliarizar o aluno com os termos que aparecerão na Internet, facilitar a tradução de frases: mensagens de erro ou

mensagens para a utilização do computador. Leitura de manuais e descrição de produtos.

O que significa a palavra background?

O que é deduzir?

Para o melhor entendimento de um texto em inglês, é necessário seguir três passos importantes.

1º - Contextualizar = descobrir qual é o assunto do texto, de forma geral;

2º - Usar o meu background = associar todo o que eu já conheço sobre esse assunto, seja ter vivenciado, lido, ouvido falar, assistido na TV, internet, músicas, etc;

3º - Usar a dedução = tirar conclusões sobre os significados das palavras ou expressões, usando todas as “pistas”possíveis, sejam elas dadas pelo próprio texto ou pelo meu background.
