The Bibliographic Database

• In the year 2006, a total of 122,412 records were added to the INIS Bibliographic Database. This represents an increase of 100 % over year 1999 (CAI started)

• It is the best annual result ever achieved by INIS during its entire history

• In 2007 (January – September) 93,214 records were added

• Frequency of updates was changed from a quarterly to a monthly basis.

• The total number of subscriptions is 237 free and 74 paid.

• A new project of redesigning INIS Database on CD/DVD-ROM was initiated and will start in 2008.

Partnerships

• The Agency continued its co-operative arrangement with the OECD/NEA Data Bank.

• The practical Agreement between IAEA and ICSTI (International Centre of Scientific and Technical Information) was signed in 2006.

• Information exchange, access to organizational information resources, organizing joint events
