    About Indian Institute of Learning & Advanced Development

    The Indian Institute of Learning & Advanced Development intends to be an agent of change intransforming human potential to gainfully employable human capital with a high investment index for

    the service industry sectors.

    The Indian Institute of Learning & Advanced Development an endeavor of Primordial Systems P. Ltd. has

    entered into an academic alliance with Mewar University (an autonomous body promulgated by the

    Government of Rajasthan through Act No. 4 of 2009, passed by Rajasthan Assembly; Approved by the

    UGC u/s 2(f) of the UGC Act 1956, with the right to confer Degree u/s 22(1) of the UGC Act) to jointly

    enhance standards of mutual learning and to fulfill the ever-increasing demand of skilled andexperienced professionals by Corporate India. The thrust of our Programs is to prepare the students for

    Provide support services, which take into consideration the requirements of all students.

    Provide a study environment free from unlawful discrimination, bullying, or harassment.

    Provide a safe environment for study, research, and other institute related activities and to observe

    all relevant legislation.

    Ensure the availability of core units and other course requirements to enable program completion

    within allowable timeframes.

    learning outcomes, content, assessment and timetables.

    Purpose of the Policy Documents

    Scope of the Policy Documents

    The policy applies to:

    All students of the INLEAD fraternity. Under certain circumstances it may also apply to a

    previously enrolled student.

    All activities held at INLEAD premises and all external activities related to study, research and

    student development, and engagement initiatives.

    Conduct in online examinations and online academic work, and to examinations and academic

    work in remote locations.

    Students representing the Institute in any event or activity.

    Updating This Policy Document

    From time to time changes to the Student policy and manual may be necessary. Primordial Systems P.

    Ltd., through the appointed Vice President - INLEAD, reserves the right to interpret, add, modify, amend

    or withdraw any or all rules from time to time as deemed fit, with or without prior notice and such

    interpretations, additions, modifications or amendments shall be final and binding upon all students.

    Any student who has any suggestions regarding amendments, improvements or update of this policy

    document, may communicate the same in writing to the Office of Student Affairs for review.

    Changes to this policy document need to be authorized by the President of Indian Institute of Learning &

    Advanced Development.

    1. Academic Standards

    At INLEAD, we applaud and abet creativity, nurture the spirit of innovation, deliver quality programs,

    1.2.3 Ph.D.Two Years of Research Study & Thesis Submission under P.G.R.I. Scheme

    1.2.3.1 Eligibility

    Admission to the Ph.D. program at INLEAD under the PGRI framework of Mewar University shall begranted basis the fulfillment of the below mentioned selection criteria:

    i. Bachelors Degree or equivalent in any discipline, (10+2+3) years of education, with a confidentpersonality & good communication skills.

    1.2.3.2 Award of Degree

    Scholars enrolling for the Ph.D. program at INLEAD under the PGRI scheme of Mewar University will beawarded a Dual Degree i.e. MBA with sectoral specialization (through CTM) and Ph.D. in the chosen fieldof research.

    exit option to earn sector-specialized PGDM after the first year, MBA after the second year and Ph.D.

    The P.G.R.I. scheme of Mewar University provides a highly efficient credit transfer mechanism foraspirants with relevant work experience and or prior postgraduate qualifications from a recognizeduniversity. The candidate must demonstrate professional acumen and fulfill the necessary academic prerequisites so as to be eligible for the applied program.

    Candidates selected under the Credit Transfer Mechanism of the P.G.R.I. scheme of Mewar Universityshall undergo a bridged capsule program encompassing all papers from Year 1 of the applied MBAprogram, followed by a credit equivalence examination conducted for successful conclusion of thenecessary credit transfers.

    * Actual program duration for admissions under the credit transfer scheme of Mewar University mayvary due to university credits granted towards prior education as well as towards relevant professionalwork experience; by way of a credit-transfer mechanism including a bridge capsule course coveringtopics from Year 1 of the relevant MBA program as well as a credit equivalence examination.

    Enrolled students may exit the Program at pre -defined junctures to pursue a rewarding career in their

    chosen area of sector specialization.

    Scenario 1:

    A Graduate student enrolls into the Program and exits at the end of the first -year after earning a

    P.G.D.M. with sector specialization.

    Scenario 2:

    A Graduate student enrolls into the Program and exits at the end of the second -year after earning a Full -

    Time M.B.A. with sector specialization.

    Scenario 3:

    A Graduate student enrolls into the Program and exits at the end of the fourth -year after earning a Ph.D.

    with sector specialization.

    The stated program structure, syllabus and delivery framework are subject to change as per Industry

    trends & academic associations of INLEAD.

    1.4 Academic Performance Indicators (API)

    The Academic progression of a student will be largely computed on the below mentioned areas but will

    not be limited to:

    1.4.1 Internal Assessment: Assignments, Class Tests, Tutorials, Paper Presentations, Projects & otherAcademic related activities

    1.4.2 Mid Term Examination

    1.4.3 Term End Examination

    1.4.4 Internship Performance Evaluation by the Institute & Respective Corporate entity.

    1.4.5 A minimum of 75% attendance in class

    1.4.6 Fulfillment of expected attendance during Internship

    1.4.7 Class Behavior & Decorum

    1.4.8 Students code of conduct during his/her academic life

    1.4.9 Successful accomplishment of required credit points

    1.5 Evaluation Methodology

    Students are evaluated on numeric scores during the course of their academic tenure and computing

    the same as CGPA in their final assessment sheet indicates the percentage of marks scored.

    Students are scored on the entire API criteria mentioned in the Student Policy Handbook with specific

    percentage defined for each category.

    Students must mandatorily submit all academic documents prior to their term end examination. In

    event of a student having a result awaited status for any of his/her graduation papers must then submit

    a student declaration form citing the date of submission for the pending documents. The admission for

    students falling in this category shall stand provisional until the required documents are duly submitted.

    These students will be allowed to appear for Term End Examination only upon submission of the

    required academic documents and delay in submission within the course of the program duration may

    result in the student appearing for the examination in the subsequent quarter.

    Students shall reappear for a supplementary examination in event of not fulfilling the CGPA passing

    criteria which should culminate to at least 40% marks scored in all the subjects. Students required to

    clear their supplementary examination shall only be entitled to participate in the supplementary

    examinations scheduled for the following quarter of their term end assessment failing which they will

    not be permitted any further re-assessment facilities and subsequently not be awarded the Degree/

    Diploma they applied for.

    Students shall only be awarded their respective program certificates after the conclusion of their

    scholastic year & upon successful completion of all the stated academic criteria.

    1.6 Professional Development & Engagement

    At INLEAD we encourage the pedagogical, personal, and professional development of a student as

    means to achieve overall growth in ones personality.

    Honorary participation may be expected from students in presenting their academic/research work,

    writing for the college, volunteering to serve on committees/ projects, working groups to grow

    professionally, engage themselves in a broader professional network and understand the nuances of

    their respective realms of skill based education.

    1.7 Model Release

    The student being of legal age shall authorize INLEAD, by signing a model release declaration form giving

    his/ her consent for publishing photographic portraits which may include the students picture in whole

    or in part, or composite, or distorted in character form, in conjunction with their own or any other

    picture, name or reproductions thereof in color or otherwise made through any media at its offices or

    elsewhere, for art, advertising, business or trade or any other lawful purpose whatsoever.

    1.8 Lectures/Faculty

    1.8.1 INLEAD is not responsible for the views/ opinions/ ideas of any faculty /guest lecturer/ speaker/

    third party over and above the course curriculum. INLEAD does not endorse in anyway opinion/

    statement/ comment of such third parties with context to non related opinions. INLEAD shall

    neither be responsible nor liable for any consequential damages arising on account of the

    applicant relying on views/ ideas/ opinions / statements of the above.

    1.8.2 Owing to the high reliance on expert faculty, certain lectures may be cancelled/ delayed/ re-

    scheduled. INLEAD ensures that it will make good such cancellations/ delays/ re-schedules by

    calling upon speakers of equal repute and experience to cover the topic on the same date, or ifnot possible, on any other date as declared by INLEAD.

    1.8.3 INLEAD reserves the right to arrange for extra lectures on other days of the week if in INLEADs

    opinion it serves in the best interest of the students.

    1.8.4 Members of the Faculty i n accordance with the Management Steering Committees approval

    will review and modify the pedagogy of programs as and when required to suit Industry

    standards.

    1.8.5 INLEAD also provides a unique mentorship program to all its students where students can be

    mentored under the guidance of professional & academic mentors.

    1.8.6 The mentorship program offers an opportunity for students to seek career or academic related

    counseling on a one to one basis with their respective mentors, apart from other related

    activities & coordination.

    1.9 Award of Diploma / Degree & Additional Certifications

    Students of INLEAD are awarded with the following certifications upon the successful completion of

    their academic tenure at INLEAD.

    1.9.1 Internship Experience Certificates

    1.9.2 LEAD Certification (An exclusive employability skills certification provided to students of INLEAD

    known as Leadership Education & Abilities Development Program)

    At INLEAD we lay great emphasis on values of honesty, integrity, and responsibility. Students, Faculty &

    Staff are all expected to maintain academic integrity in their work and take collective responsibility for

    preventing violations of intellectual ownership. The institution is committed to helping students learn

    academic dishonesty begins with the respective Faculty Member and may proceed to include the

    2.1 Key Facets

    Academic Integrity can be broadly defined, but is not limited to, as performing academic work without

    Cheating, Fabrication on, or Plagiarism:

    2.1.1 Cheating

    Cheating is any action that violates Institutes norms or instructor's guidelines for the preparation and

    submission of any academic activity or documentation. This includes but is not limited: -

    2.1.1.1 Using or attempting to use unauthorized materials, information or study aids in any

    academic activity.

    2.1.1.2 Submitting as ones work term papers, homework, and examinations that are not ones

    own work or for which a student received unauthorized help.

    2.1.1.3 Copying the work of another or allowing another to copy ones own work without

    acknowledgement.

    2.1.1.4 Use or possession of unauthorized materials during the examination or quiz.

    2.1.1.5 Unauthorized assistance to another student; or acceptance of such assistance.

    2.1.2 Fabrication, Falsification or Sabotage of Research Data

    Fabrication, falsification, or sabotage of research data is any action that represents, willfully distorts, or

    alters the process and results of scholarly investigation. This includes but is not limited to:-

    2.1.2.1 Falsifying or inventing any information or citation in an academic activity.

    2.1.2.2 Making up or fabricating data as part of a fieldwork or other scholarly investigation.

    2.1.2.3 Knowingly distorting, altering, or falsifying the data gained by such an investigation

    stealing or using without the consent of the instructor data acquired by another

    student.

    2.1.2.4 Representing the research conclusions of another as one's own; and undermining or

    sabotaging the research investigations of another person.

    2.1.3 Plagiarism

    Plagiarism is a one of the key forms of academic dishonesty involving the presentation of the work of

    another as one's own. Plagiarism includes but is not limited to the following:

    2.1.3.1 The direct copying of any source, such as written and verbal material, computer files,audio disks, video programs or musical scores, whether published or unpublished, in

    whole or part, without proper acknowledgement that it is someone else's

    2.1.3.2 Submitting as one's own work a report, examination paper, computer file, report, or

    other assignment that has been prepared by someone else. This includes research

    papers purchased from any other person or agency. The paraphrasing of another's work

    or ideas without proper acknowledgement

    2.1.3.3 External information borrowed and directly quoted must be indicated by use ofquotation marks, and any changes, omissions, or addition to the direct quotation must

    be shown in bracket, and the source documented. All cited external information that

    has been paraphrased and summarized must also be documented

    2.1.4 Collaboration

    2.1.4.1 Students at INLEAD are encouraged to work together on group projects, study, and

    other activities. However work submitted to fulfill an assignment not specifically

    identified as a group activity must be substantially the work of the author/student

    collaboration beyond this constitutes as academic misconduct

    2.1.4.2 Destruction or misuse of the institute's academic resources includes but is not limited

    to:

    2.1.4.2.1 Unauthorized access to or use of institute resources including

    equipment and materials

    2.1.4.2.2 Stealing, destroying or deliberately damaging library materials

    2.1.4.2.3 Preventing, in an unauthorized manner, others' access to institute

    equipment, materials or resources

    2.1.4.2.4 Any commercial activity undertaken by the student in exchange of

    Institutes study material or property

    2.1.4.2.6 Given the importance of computers to the academic functioning of the

    institute, computer usage is of particular concern under this general

    2.1.5 Alteration or Falsification of Academic Records

    Alteration or falsification of academic records includes any action that tampers with official institute

    records or documents. This includes but is not limited to:

    2.1.5.1 Any alteration through any means whatsoever of an academic transcript, a grade or

    grade change card; unauthorized use of Institute documents including letterhead; and

    misrepresentation of one's academic accomplishments, awards or credentials

    2.1.6 Academic Misconduct

    Academic misconduct is any action that deliberately undermines the free exchange of ideas in the

    learning environment, threatens the impartial evaluation of the students by the instructor or advisor, or

    violates standards for ethical or professional behavior established by a course or program. This includes

    but is not limited to:-

    2.1.6.1 Attempts to bribe an instructor or advisor for academic advantage; persistent hostile

    treatment of, or any act or threat of violence against, an instructor, advisor or other

    students; and/or

    2.1.6.2 Actions or behavior that violate standards for ethical or professional behavior

    established by a course or program in an off-campus setting and could damage the

    Institute's relationship with community partners and affiliated institutions

    2.1.6.3 Not behave in any way which impairs the reasonable freedom of other persons to

    pursue their studies, work or research or to participate in the life of the Institute

    2.1.7 Complicity

    Complicity is any intentional attempt to facilitate any of the violations described above. This includes but

    3.1.1 P.G.D.M: Bachelors degree or equivalent in any discipline, (10 + 2 + 3) years of education,

    3.1.3 MBA (Credit Transfer Mechanism): Minimum 1 Year of relevant work experience +

    3.8 Program Fee Guidelines

    3.8.1 Selected candidates will be required to commence their registration process by submitting

    Admission Processing Charges in favor of INLEAD.

    3.8.2 The fee payment schedule shall be applicable as communicated to the student in the offer &admission letter from INLEAD.

    3.8.3 All fees including admission-processing charges once paid will not be refundable for any

    reason whatsoever. The security deposit shall be refunded to candidates successfully

    completing their respective program at INLEAD. Students can seek refund of the security

    deposit up till 2 years from the date of Convocation for their respective batch, failing which

    the security deposit shall stand forfeited.

    3.8.4 Willful withdrawal of enrolment by a student admitted in any program at INLEAD or astudent terminated from the institute owing to any reason whatsoever, shall result in the

    forfeiture of all fees including Security Deposit & Admission Processing Charges paid by the

    respective student or his/her representatives.

    3.8.5 The student/ parent/ guardian authorizes INLEAD to deposit cheques on due dates without

    recourse to them. Hence, no activity such as bank account closure & or stop payment of the

    cheque should be undertaken by the student or related point of contacts. If the issuing bank

    for any reason does not honor the cheque, INLEAD shall initiate such steps including legalaction to recover the same.

    3.8.6 In the event of non receipt of fees on due date, INLEAD reserves the right to initiate such

    steps including refraining the students from attending lectures, participating in events/

    workshops, appearing for assessments/ exams etc. at its sole discretion. The student/

    parent/ guardian waive their right to initiate any steps against INLEAD arising out of steps

    initiated for the same.

    3.8.7 For readmission to the Program (at the discretion of the Management) a readmission fee ofINR 25,000 must be deposited by the student to initiate the re-admission procedure.

    3.8.8 No cheque payments shall be accepted for the submission of Academic Tuition Fee.

    3.9 Applicant Details

    3.9.1 Admissions granted on incorrect information will be construed null and void. In all matters

    regarding admission to the program, the decision of the Institute will be final and binding on

    the applicant. No correspondence from the applicant with respect to his/her non-selection

    will be entertained.

    3.9.2 The candidate must provide current and updated contact details to the Institute at the time

    of admission. Alternate telephone numbers, email addresses should be provided for the

    record of the Institute. Any change in your address/ telephone number should be intimated

    to the Institute immediately. INLEAD is not responsible for Postal/ Courier delays, loss in

    transit, or wrong address.

    3.10 Cancellation of Admission

    INLEAD reserves its right to cancel the admission of successful applicants under any of the following

    circumstances:

    3.10.1 If the student fails to clear his/her fees payable as per the defined timelines.

    3.10.2 If the students cheques are dishonored.

    3.10.3 If the student fails to furnish the proof of the stipulated minimum qualifications/ eligibility

    criteria within the defined time frame or the same is found not to be genuine.

    3.10.4 If the student fails to meet the minimum attendance criteria.

    3.10.5 If the student brings to disrepute the name of INLEAD, or if INLEAD deems that educational

    standards/class decorum/ discipline are not being maintained by the applicant.

    3.10.6 If the student has committed a breach of any of the terms of this Policy Manual or any rule

    framed subsequent to these terms, and has failed to rectify such breach despite INLEAD

    calling upon him/her to do so.

    3.10.7 It is understood that the students admission stands provisional until his/her submission of

    awaited results mark sheet/ certificate/ degree and or submission of complete set of

    documents required as stated in the admission fact sheet/ student policy handbook.

    4. Training and Placement

    INLEAD firmly believes that it can better achieve its mission with the active involvement of the wider

    community for additional perspective and exchange of ideas and laying foundation for potential

    recruitment. It acknowledges the value of internships and placements in its work and seeks to involveplacements in order to provide experiential learning.

    This activity can refer to professional placements, industry interface or interaction, industry based work

    experience and other professional fieldwork experi ences (hereinafter referred to as internships or

    placements' within this document). This policy document is concerned with arrangements made for

    such placement learning that constitutes a planned and intended part of our academic program.

    4.1 General Objectives of the Training & Placement (T&P) Program

    In line with the Institutes agenda to meet the industrys demand for professionally competent and well -

    rounded personnel, the T&P program aims to:

    4.1.1 Give the student exposure to the actual industrial and managerial aspects of their chosen

    industry

    4.1.2 Enable the student to gain experience, relate and apply the theories he/ she learns in the

    Institute to industrial situations and problems

    4.1.3 Give the students an insight of the various operations, processes, techniques and controls

    presently used in industry

    4.1.4 Develop and instill a positive attitude, self-confidence and self-motivation required of a

    responsible professional in handling tasks

    4.1.5 Impress on the student the importance of human relations in the working place or

    environment

    The Training & Placement assistance provided at INLEAD is broadly classified under two categories:-

    Category A: Domestic Internship & Placements and

    Category B: International Internships & Placements

    Category A: Domestic Internship/Placement- is for students undergoing Post Graduate Programs with

    INLEAD & opting for Domestic Internship and or Placements

    Category B: International Internship/Placement- is for students undergoing Post Graduate Programs

    with INLEAD opting for International Internship/Placements

    4.2 Training & Placement Participation Tenets (Applicable for both Category A & B candidates):

    Students seeking to participate in the T&P assistance offered by INLEAD, must adhere to the below

    mentioned guidelines & procedures:

    4.2.1 INTERNSHIP I:

    4.2.1.1. Interview Confirmation:

    4.2.1.1.1 Duly fill the Interview Confirmation Form for participating in the interviews scheduled

    by INLEAD with its industry partners. The same must be submitted at least 3 days prior

    to the scheduled interview unless the interview communication has been sent later than

    the stipulated duration to the student.

    4.2.1.2 Internship Opt Out:

    4.2.1.2.1 Duly fill the Internship Opt Out Request Form in event of the student opting out of the

    internship I & self-arranging the same. The stated form must be submitted at least 15

    days prior to the commencement of the prescribed internship as per the academic

    calendar of INLEAD.

    4.2.2 PRE-PLACEMENT:

    4.2.2.1 Duly fill & submit the Pre-Placement Acceptance Form as per the communicated timeline

    in event of a Pre Placement Offer being released to a student so as to confirm their

    joining with the respective Employer and subsequently opt out of further T&P assistance

    from INLEAD.

    4.2.3 INTERNSHIP II/ FINAL PLACEMENTS:

    4.2.3.1 T&P Assistance:

    4.2.3.1.1 Duly fill & submit the T&P Assistance Form as per the defined timelines communicated

    by representatives of INLEAD so as to confirm their participation in either Internship II or

    Final Placement procedures before the Term End Examination. The students opting for

    Internship II shall undergo 3 months of Internship followed by final placement assistance

    in the next placement cycle in accordance to the T&P guidelines cited in INLEADs

    Student Policies & Guidelines Manual and as per the prescribed timeline of the INLEAD

    Recruiter Division.

    4.2.3.1.2 Students opting for Internship II can seek employment opportunities (up to 3 interview

    chances) through the institute upon successful completion of the Internship II and

    submission of Internship II report, internship II-completion certificate, & relateddocuments. This privilege for placement assistance will be valid for 3 months -post the

    successful completion of Internship II & its requisite documentation formalities. Any

    student failing to report to the institute basis the above-mentioned timelines shall be

    barred from the given placement privileges.

    4.2.3.1.3 Students opting for Final Placement shall be entitled to 3 interview opportunities in

    accordance wit h the T&P guidelines cited in INLEADs Student Policies & Guidelines

    Manual & in event of a student failing to get selected or accept any of the offered job

    opportunities through INLEAD & its channel partner shall be required to self-arrange

    both Internship II & subsequent employment on their own and duly complete the

    documentation formalities associated with the same.

    4.2.3.1.4 Successfully clear his/her mid-term and term end examinations (In event of a student

    not qualifying through the term end examinations, he/she shall be required to self-

    arrange Internship II for themselves.) The referred students shall be required to

    successfully clear their supplementary examinations held in the subsequent academic

    quarter and upon successful completion of the same, the student shall be entitled to 3

    interview chances through INLEAD by submission of relevant internship documents.

    4.2.3.2 Interview Participation:

    4.2.3.2.1 Duly fill & submit the Interview Participation Form as per the defined timelines

    communicated by representatives of INLEAD, in order to cite their preferred list of

    companies with whom they wish to participate for job interview & seek employment.

    This form would entail the students with a choice of selecting 5 of their preferred

    companies from the list of companies available in the form, with whom their resume`s

    would be shared and subsequent interview line ups shall be facilitated. However, in

    event of a student not being shortlisted for interviews from their preferred employer,

    INLEAD Recruiter shall a rrange for alternate interviews as per the students employability

    assessment report in accordance with the T&P guidelines cited in the INLEAD Student

    Policy & Guidelines Manual.

    4.2.3.3 Interview Confirmation:

    4.2.3.3.1 Duly fill the Interview Confirmation Form for participating in the interviews scheduled by

    INLEAD with its industry partners. The same must be submitted at least 3 days prior to

    the scheduled interview unless the interview communication has been sent later thanthe stipulated duration to the student.

    4.2.4 INTERNATIONAL INTERNSHIP/ PLACEMENT

    4.2.4.1 Duly fill & submit the International Internship/Placement Application as per the defined

    timelines communicated by representatives of INLEAD so as to confirm their participation

    in the International Internship/Placement Facilitation.

    4.2.5 OPT OUT:

    4.2.5.1 Internship II:

    4.2.5.1.1 Duly fill the Internship Opt Out Request Form in event of the student opting out of the

    internship II & self-arranging the same. The stated form must be submitted at least 15

    days prior to the commencement of the prescribed internship as per the academic

    calendar of INLEAD. (This document is for Domestic Internships only & shall not apply in

    case of International Internships as; once the international internship application has

    been received there will be financial, legal & statutory ramifications while opting out for

    the same. Hence, terms & conditions as cited under Section 4.3.2 of Category B- Training

    & Placements will be applicable in this case)

    4.2.5.2 Final Placements:

    4.2.5.2.1 Duly fill the Placement Opt Out Request Form in event of the student opting out of the

    placement assistance offered by INLEAD & self-arranging the same. The stated form must

    be submitted at least 15 days prior to the commencement of the prescribed placement

    interview scheduled as per the placement interview schedule of INLEAD. (This document

    is for Domestic Placements only & shall not apply in case of International Placements as;

    once the international internship/ placement application has been received there will be

    financial, legal & statutory ramifications while opting out for the same. Hence, terms &

    conditions as cited under Section 4.3.2 of Category B- Training & Placements will be

    applicable in this case)

    All the afore-mentioned applications submitted by the students will require approval of INLEADs

    designated authorized representatives & the INLEAD Recruiter Division and shall be considered in

    conjunction with the No Dues Clearance Status & other records of the applicant student.

    4.2.6 International Internship/ Employment Acceptance:

    4.2.6 Duly fill the International Internship/ Employment Acceptance Form as a declaration towards

    concurrence for the international work assignment facilitated through INLEAD/ and or its

    channel partners prior to embarking for the international deployment.

    4.2.7 Domestic Pre-Placement/ Internship II/ Employment Acceptance:

    4.2.7 Duly fill the Domestic Pre-Placement/ Internship II/ Employment Acceptance Form as a

    declaration towards concurrence for the domestic work assignment facilitated through

    INLEAD/ and or its channel partners prior to embarking for the domestic work

    deployment.

    4.3 Training & Placement Standard Guidelines (Applicable for both Category A & B candidates)

    4.3.1 Eligibility

    Students partaking in the T&P assistance provided by INLEAD & its Channel Partners shall be required to

    mandatorily qualify & complete the below mentioned parameters so as to be eligible for the offered

    Training & Placement assistance. To this end, each student shall be required to:

    4.3.1.1. Active & Punctual participation in the resume` writing session conducted by

    the INLEAD Recruiter representatives.

    4.3.1.2. Timely submission of updated resume` as & when required.

    4.3.1.3. Successfully complete the preceding academic sessions and industry internship

    as applicable.

    4.3.1.4. Submit the duly approved form applicable for participating in the respective

    T&P assistance activity. (The form must be approved by both the Program HoD

    & INLEAD Recruiter authorized signatory for further facilitation)-Ref. Section

    4.2 Training &Placement Participation Tenets

    4.3.1.5. Submit the duly approved No Dues Clearance Form to the Student Affairs

    division.

    4.3.1.6. Comply with the Student Code of Conduct as cited in the INLEAD Student

    Policies & Guidelines Manual.

    4.3.1.7. Submit all the preceding industry internship relevant documents & reports as

    prescribed by INLEAD & its designated personnel (s).

    4.3.1.8. Successfully complete the academic performance parameters as per the API

    cited in this policy manual.

    4.3.1.9. Comply with the INLEAD Recruiter advisories pertaining to the interview

    participation, selection & joining formalities.

    4.3.1.10. Any candidate failing to qualify his/her supplementary examinations shall not

    be entitled for further T&P Assistance from the institute.

    Any student failing to adhere to the above-mentioned guidelines shall ipso-facto be deemed as not

    eligible for participating in the Training & Placement assistance provided by INLEAD.

    4.3.2. T&P Interview Facilitation

    Students participating in the interviews facilitated by INLEAD or its Channel Partners must adhere to the

    following directives to ensure successful interview facilitation:

    4.3.2.1. Regularly check & keep themselves updated on the communicated interview

    schedules. The interview related communication shall be sent on the contact

    information and or mailing id as available in INLEAD records. Failure on the

    students part to update any change in their correspon dence address, mailing

    id or contact information may result in loss of accounted interview opportunity

    for the respective student and the stated loss or call for disciplinary action in

    this regard shall be owing to the sole responsibility of the negligent student.

    4.3.2.2. Immediately respond to the interview communications sent by the designated

    personnel from INLEAD or its Channel Partner as per the defined turned

    around time for the stated response. Failure to respond to the referred

    communication shall necessitate disciplinary action as deemed necessary by

    INLEAD.

    4.3.2.3. Maintain a professional conduct while interacting with INLEADs industry

    partners.

    4.3.2.4. Comply with the INLEAD uniform & grooming guidelines in campus & alsowhen representing INLEAD out of campus.

    4.3.2.5. Represent their institute (INLEAD) in a respectable and dignified manner while

    having any correspondence with external entities on behalf of INLEAD or as a

    part of the INLEAD student community.

    4.3.2.6. Be punctual for the scheduled interview as per the communicated interview

    schedule timelines. Failure in adherence to the same shall result in requisite

    action to be undertaken against the aberrant student.

    4.3.2.7. Compete for the available internships & placements and get selected solely on

    their individual performance in the selection process and/ or merit as specified

    by the company. INLEAD only ensures holding of the T&P interviews by various

    companies and cannot influence the selection process in any manner.

    4.3.2.8. Carry multiple copies of their respective resume` as per the template provided

    by INLEAD prior to the interviews facilitated by INLEAD or its channel partners.

    4.3.2.9. Escalate any matter of concern pertaining to the scheduled interview ONLY

    with INLEAD & the INLEAD Recruiter division. Under no circumstances, must

    the student react / respond negatively or escalate any matter of concern with

    the Industry Partner without the prior consent of INLEAD representatives in

    writing. INLEAD shall deal with the matter escalated by the respective student

    as deemed fit & necessary and advice the student accordingly.

    4.3.2.10. Upon receiving a confirmed employment offer from the foremost organization

    a student has appeared for, his/ her name shall be withdrawn from the

    interview registration schedule in accordance with the placement calendar and

    the student will not be eligible to sit for any more interviews irrespective of the

    categories of jobs.

    4.3.2.11. Students, who have accepted the pre-placement offer from an organization

    during the course of Internship I or in the subsequent quarter owing to their

    affirmative performance in Internship I with the said organization, shall not be

    appearing for any further interviews conducted in the Campus Placement Drive

    for Internship II or Final Placements.

    4.3.2.12. Internship II shall be treated as final placements in event of a student accepting

    the employment offer letter by the relevant organization either prior to

    internship II commencement, during the course of internship or at the end of

    the internship.

    4.3.2.13. Students receiving only Internship offer during Internship II with no

    employment offer will be eligible to participate in the next placement cycle

    through INLEAD in accordance with the governing guidelines of INLEADs

    Student Policies upon successful completion of the Internship II & due

    submission of required documents in this regard to the Institute.

    4.3.2.14. Students opting Internship II may avail Final Placement assistance up till the

    next quarter from the date of completion of Internship II as per the academic

    calendar. Placement assistance for student failing to submit his/her documents

    for Internship II within the designated time frame and or not seeking

    placement assistance within the subsequent quarter shall be withdrawn.

    Eligible students shall be granted a minimum of 3 & a maximum of 5 interview opportunities for both

    Internships & Final Placements as applicable. However, the stated opportunities may be decreased orincreased as per INLEADs discretion basis a students academic and disciplinary records.

    4.3.3. Liabilities:

    Given to the external party dependencies for Training & Placement facilitation, INLEAD or its

    representatives shall not be liable for:

    4.3.3.1 Students willful withdrawal from Internship (s)/ Placement provided by

    INLEAD.

    4.3.3.2 Loss of a training or placement opportunity for a student owing to the

    students denial to participate in a scheduled interview for which confirmation

    has been received from the stude nts end. This situation shall necessitate

    immediate withdrawal of the students name from further T&P assistance and

    subsequent disciplinary action against the offending student.

    4.3.3.3 Loss of a training or placement opportunity for a student owing to the

    students denial to accept the extended internship or employment offer. This

    shall also lead to the student being barred from further T&P assistance from

    INLEAD.

    4.3.3.4 Termination of a students candidature from the offered internship or

    placement owing to the unacceptable performance or conduct of the

    respective student.

    4.3.3.5 Any third party commitments made to the students by the Corporates where

    the student may be undergoing internship or placements.

    4.3.3.6 If a third party partner promises to pay monies/ dues to the student for workcarried out/ expenses met for work carried out and defaults of the same. The

    student will have to deal with the third party company directly for the same,

    however INLEAD will try to facilitate and ensure that the entire matter is

    handled suitably.

    4.3.3.7 If a third party company agrees to delegate work to the student of a certain

    nature and then delegates alternative work. The student will have to deal withthe third party company directly for the same.

    4.3.3.8 Any occurrence of an incident at a third partys site where the student may be

    deployed.

    4.3.3.9 INLEADs association with other agencies/ partners shall not be taken to

    constitute a partnership or joint venture or contract of employment between

    the parties and nothing contained in this Agreement shall authorize either

    party to incur any liabilities on behalf of the other.

    4.3.3.10 In event of a student willfully withdrawing/absconding, denying to participate

    or declining to accept an extended internship or placement opportunity

    provided by INLEAD, the respective student shall be liable to self arrange the

    stated internship as per INLEADs standards as well as pursue their

    employment by themselves and complete the applicable Internship project

    report submission along with the internship completion certificate so as to

    comply with the mandatory academic performance parameters for award of

    Degree or Diploma. Such circumstances may also necessitate disciplinary

    action against the student as deemed necessary.

    4.3.4. Employment LOI:

    4.3.4.1 Students at INLEAD may enjoy the privileges of being offered an

    Employment- Letter of Intent from our industry partners upon registering for

    any of our programs. This LOI shall offer the student with an opportunity to

    participate in the final round of interview directly with the respective

    industry partner/s.

    4.3.4.2 It must be clearly understood that the Employment LOI released to a student

    upon registering for any of the programs at INLEAD shall only be valid if the

    student successfully completes his/her academic tenure at INLEAD and duly

    completes all other academic & related obligations as per the INLEAD

    student policy & guidelines.

    4.3.4.3 The LOI for Employment shall only be considered valid by our Industry

    Partners if routed via INLEAD; else the document shall stand negated &

    nullified.

    4.3.5. T&P Compliance Directives:

    Students of INLEAD are required to adhere to the following directives over and above the advisories

    and clauses cited in this policy manual. The students must comply with:

    4.3.5.1 T&P related document submission timelines as prescribed by INLEAD & its

    representatives.

    4.3.5.2 Successful completion of internship/ employment offer acceptance & joining

    formalities as per the prescribed timelines.

    4.3.5.3 Employers code of conduct, dress code & office policy during Internship/

    Placement

    4.3.5.4 Advisories issued by INLEAD Recruiter on behalf of INLEAD or its channelpartners and vice-versa.

    4.3.5.5 Occupational health & safety guidelines, as specified by the host employer

    and wear protective and safety equipment as necessary in the course of their

    duties during Internship (s) or Employment. (It is also advised that the

    student keeps all relevant medical certificates and accounts for any insurance

    claims that may be made eventually in this regard.)

    4.4 Disclosures

    Students are sent for the international internship/ placement with our industry partners basis mutual

    trust and respect and it is imperative that the student must disclose all information related to himself/

    herself prior to his/ her participation in the interview procedures for the same. This shall include, but

    not be limited to:

    Disclosure on-

    4.4.1 Educational background and the documentary evidence supporting the same.

    4.4.2 Medical history and the documentary evidence supporting either the students fitness or

    illness as applicable.

    4.4.3 Criminal record, acts of felony, conviction, litigation or any court cases that the student is

    or has been involved in.

    4.4.4 Prior professional / personal engagements, commitments that may hinder the students

    presence during the interview procedures or the actual internship / placement itself.

    Any student found guilty of non- disclosure or submission of unauthentic information shall be

    immediately terminated from the institution and necessary disciplinary actions may initiate against the

    felonious student.

    Only the Covenants of the Courts in Gurgaon shall have jurisdiction over any or all matters/ dispute that

    may arise out of this Agreement.

    4.5 Force Majeure

    INLEAD & its representatives shall not be liable for failure to perform the offered Internship/Placement

    Assistance related obligations if such failure is as a result of Acts of God (including fire, flood,

    earthquake, storm, hurricane or other natural disaster), war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities

    (regardless of whether war is declared), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped

    power or confiscation
