Located in the city of Cotia at São Paulo metropolitan

center, Blau Farmacêutica has three “state of the

art” production sites with fourteen production

The R&D department of Blau Farmacêutica is divided in two expertise

sectors: biological products and synthetic drugs. They develop new

products, formulations, processes and analytical methodologies. They

use the latest generation of equipments, which are only found at

universities and advanced research laboratories. It has a professional

team that includes Post-Doc, Doctors, Masters and others.

The analytical methodologies used for quality control follow both

Brazilian and international monographies in their latest releases

and utilizes the company’s own developed validated methods.

Its equipments are qualified and its processes validated using

modern tools to ensure the quality of the process with safety and

traceability information.

The company currently has three subsidiaries in LATAM

countries, including Brazil, Uruguay and Colombia and it is

other countries around the world, where the company already

Blau Farmacêutica has a clinical and nonclinical research

department, to conduct post-marketing surveillance (PMS/

Phase IV) studies, prospective studies (Phase I, II and III) and

bioequivalences to prove the quality, effectiveness and safety

of its drug products, always following good clinical practices

and the applicable regulations. This department utilizes tools

that assure the confidentiality and security of the information.

Blau Farmacêutica’s quality assurance goes beyond its own

limits, auditing and qualifying suppliers and customers in order

to ensure the quality and the traceability of its medicines in the

entire productive chain, to the extent of the medicine being

administered to the patients.

Blau has a department of information and technology (IT) that

uses the most modern tools to be connected with its customers

and employees, obtaining quick answers and control of the

information;Blau also has a department for customer services with

a trained team to attend patients and healthcare professionals.

Its Pharmacovigilance system is always monitoring the adverse

reactions in order to find any unknown risks and propose, if

necessary, measures for managing and minimizing risks.

Blau farmacêutica besides engaging to develop and produce medicines, is

strongly engaged to social commitment to help many charitable institutions

to carry out social work.

Besides that, the company sponsors many different cultural and sports

projects, working both with and without government support. Thus, it
