VICWATER 2013 ANNUAL CONFERENCEThursday 12 – Friday 13 September, 2013
The Langham Melbourne – One Southgate Avenue, Southbank
“Innovation, Co-operation and Sustainability”
‘Reframing the Future, Unlocking our Potential’
Our SpOnSOrS:
WELCOME
This Conference attracts delegates from the most senior levels of the nineteen Victorian water corporations. Together with leaders from Victorian Government departments, regulators and other state and national key water industry stakeholders.
“Reframing the Future, Unlocking our Potential” is the theme for this year’s Conference. The ways in which water corporations provide products and services is coming under increasing pressure as social, political, economic and technological systems become more dynamic and influence customers’ expectations.
Distinguished presenters will explore how water corporations can reframe the future by planning, adapt-ing and innovating to meet these challenges and mechanisms to unlock our potential in the ever changing business environment that they operate in.
The Victorian water industry has a proven track record of working together to ensure strong customer, community and environmental outcomes are delivered. The opportunity now exists for the industry to take a fresh look at how it can continue to provide relevant services into the future.
VicWater believes that the 2013 VicWater Conference program will inspire and challenge you to consider the future possibilities for your organisation, as well as, ways that your organisations resources can be used to realise these opportunities.
The conference dinner, welcome drinks and session breaks throughout each day will provide delegates with the opportunity to network with colleagues and industry representatives. Allowing sufficient space for establishing new contacts, strengthening existing networks and exchanging of ideas which are all critical components of the Conference’s ongoing success.
We look forward to welcoming you to what we believe will be an outstanding Conference.
On behalf of the Victorian Water Industry Association and its Board of Management it is our pleasure to invite you to the 2013 VicWater Annual Conference.
