ETIA was created in 1989 by Olivier Lepez and

Philippe Sajet, chemist and Doctor in chemical

engineering. ETIA specializes in innovation,

engineering, equipment and processes.

ETIA offers expert design, engineering,

development and delivery of high added-value

equipment and products mainly in the fields of food

industry, energy, environment and agrochemicals.

Thermal treatment

Safesteril is the department of ETIA specifically

dedicated to thermal treatment of food products

from 0°C up to 300°C.

ETIA has developed and proposes a wide range

of equipment and processes for drying, cooling,

steam sterilization, pasteurization, extraction,

toasting, cooking of all kind of bulk product

(spices, herbal teas, cereals, dehydrated

vegetables, dry fruits, seeds an nuts….).

Moreover Safesteril has a strong R&D department

with pilots and demo plants and is involved in

many European and US programs for food safety.

Ozone disinfection treatment

Ozosteril is the branch of ETIA dedicated to the

destruction of all insects, micro-organisms and

virus’ by non-radiative and non-thermal treatment.

ETIA has developed a strong partnership with

Lasalle Beauvais and Ozonia and proposes

a complete range of continous processes for

disinsectization, pasteurization, sterilization and

mycotoxin treatment of all kinds of dried and wet

food products.

ETIA has a fully equipped pilot plant for trials,

R&D and specific applications of OZOSTERIL

technologies.

strong development over the past ten years. Today,

ETIA is continuing its growth strategy by expanding

its international infl uence in research, innovation

and delivery sustainable solutions for industry.

ETIA is also involved in many research programs

working in close collaboration with academic

and industrial partners in order to develop new

technologies and new products in the fi elds

of sustainable development and industrial

Torrefaction - pyrolysis - gasifi cation

Biogreen is a platform for thermochemical conversion

of all residue from biomass and polymers.

Since 2003, ETIA has developed and patented a

new concept for valorization of all kind of waste

by torrefaction, pyrolysis or gasifi cation.

BIOGREEN is the most reliable solution to

transform into biochar, oil and gas, all biomass

residu and sewage sludge. Most of the non-

organic waste, such as used tires and plastic,

can also be transformed by BIOGREEN into fuel.

We have pilot plants in both France and the USA

for trials and development of new applications.

Agrochemicals

Noxima is an affi liated company dedicated to

the development and custom manufacturing of

agrochemicals.

With its own laboratories and chemists, NOXIMA

provides customized solutions for professional

and consumer markets for pest control, water

retention, natural soil amendments and fertilizers.

NOXIMA offers exclusive synthesis services to

deliver commercial quantities of agrochemicals.

These custom manufacturing services are

provided with cost-effective, robust and

environmentally friendly solutions.
