Institute of Leadership and Management

What people say... “Employee Volunteering has enabled us to engage more employees in volunteering by delivering fantastically organised,

well run volunteering days, that meet the needs of our communities and also develop great teams”.

Helen Ellis, Head of Corporate Responsibility and Community Relations, Prudential UK & Europe

“Employee Volunteering CiC were invaluable to Honda, the community and the employees who have participated in our

project. Delivering a cost effective professional programme run by a team of efficient and friendly people. The benefits to

us as a company far outweigh the project costs and we are working with them again this year”.

Jo Coaker, Press Fleet & Events Manager, Honda (UK) - Corporate Affairs

“We were very impressed with the service provided by Employee Volunteering. We found them professional, yet friendly,

and their approach enabled us to establish a solid relationship with the company whose staff made such a difference to

our project”.

Ian Anderson, Operations Director, PACT

“Partnering with Employee Volunteering for our team volunteering day took the hassle out of organising and running the

day which left us able to focus on completing the project, having fun and giving something back to the community”.

Michelle Dugdale, Communications Manager, Europe, CA Technologies.

Why use EV? The cost-time-benefit equationWhen organisations hear about the type of programmes we run, they acknowledge

the good idea but sometimes try to organise comparable activities themselves

for budget reasons. There may even be a feeling that volunteering equates to

charity and should therefore be free. One guaranteed outcome is that high internal

costs (both time and money) mount up surprisingly quickly. Another is that the

quality does not meet the team’s expectations and can deter some from future

volunteering engagement. EV guarantees to help you build a sustainable, scalable

employee volunteering culture.
