Compassionate leadership does not mean lack of discipline or lack of decision making. It only means you value people, and that is the quality of a true leader.

When I began my career, the world was top down. If you are a young man in your organization, you will always have big bosses who have more knowledge about business than you. They will teach you how to set up distributors, how to set up production floor, and so on. This was then.

A leader should learn to live in three worlds. These worlds are intersecting circles. The first world is the inner world. It has all the anxieties, fears, hopes, predictions that every human being is bound to have.
