·If the module is installed in a Mazda 3 Push-to-Start (PTS) 2010 (type 1) or a Mazda 6 Push-to-Start (PTS) 2009-2010 (type 3) with an Automatic Transmission, please see page 10 for the module programming.
·If the module is installed in a Mazda 3 Push-to-Start (PTS) 2010 (type 2) or a Mazda 6 Push-to-Start (PTS) 2009-2010 (type 4) with a Manual Transmission, please see page 11 for the module programming.
·If the module is installed in a Mazda vehicle without Push-to-Start (PTS) (type 5) or a Mazda Tribute 2007-2009 & Mazda B Series (type 6), please see page 12 for the module programming.

Module reset will be done automatically upon programming.
Refer to the LED Diagnostics section on page 14 for more information and for troubleshooting purposes.
Insert a diode to secure the wire in the empty pin as shown.

Solder the wire to secure it on the metal pin.
This part can be removed because only the metal pin is needed to secure the contact in the empty pin.

During the programming sequence:
- All OEM remotes must be located at least 10 feet away from the vehicle.- The hood, doors and trunk/hatch must be closed.- The vehicle battery must be charged to its maximum capacity.- Ensure that the manual transmission input wire (10-pin harness, white/black) is connected to ground.- The OEM Scan Tool is required for the programming sequence below.
