Installing FactsERP on your computer Installing FactsERP on your computers is quick, easy and follows a 4-step guided process

Step 1. Collect the sign-in details from Facts team

Before installing, FactsERP collect the following credential details from Facts Implementation

engineer.

• Your support portal login name and password

• FTP credential details for your company

1. FTP host name

2. FTP user name

3. FTP password

Step 2. Login to your support desk

Facts Computer Software House cares its customers after implementations also. We have a dedicated

support team for your assistance. The Point of Contact users of the client company are provided with

user ids and passwords to track their supports and downloads. The user id is the corporate email id of the user and password is a resettable password with a default

password “123”

Go to www.facts.ae and open Support portal

Support Login button is in top right part of the website in red color

Step 3. Download FactsERP After successful login, Open the menu and select Download Center menu from the list

Click on the Download Centre to open the download page.

Click “DOWNLOAD” button to download the latest version of FactsERP in your system.

Step 4. Install One click Setup

After downloading the installation file,

Follow the few steps to quickly install FactsERP in your system.

Double click on the installation file to open the Pre-Requisite window

This window will show you the pre-requisite files needed for working FactsERP.

By clicking “Install” button, the setup will try to install,

• .Net Framework 4

• Crystal Report Run Time version

• Facts Presentation Framework.

If you are sure that .Net Framework 4 is already installed in your computer, then you can skip

installing .Net Framework. The rest two installations are mandatory.

Install .Net Framework Pre-requisite

By clicking “Install” button, it will open a popup asking whether you need to install Dot Net

Framework or not. Click Yes to install and click No, if you are aware that your machine already has

Dot Net Framework 4 installed.

Install Crystal Report Run Time Pre-requisite

After Dot Net Framework installation, system will immediately ask for Crystal Report Runtime

installation automatically. Click Yes to install the files.

Install Facts Presentation Framework Pre-requisite

Immediately after Crystal Installation, setup will ask to install FactsPresentationFramework. Click Yes

to install FactsPresentationFramework. This is a mandatory installation

Install FactsERP

After the pre-requisite installation, setup will open the FactsERP setup page. Click “Next” to continue.

Accept the EULA

Select the “I accept the terms in the license agreement” and click “Next” button

Enter User name and Organization name (optional) and click “Next”

Select Destination Folder

Select a folder where you want to install FactsERP application. Change the folder by clicking “Change”

button. Note that every user using the computer have the access to the selected folder. After

selecting the folder, click “Next” to continue

Finalize Installation process

Select “Install” to install FactsERP if you are Ok with the settings else click “Back”

Complete Installation

After FactsERP installation, setup will open a page like below. Click “Finish” to finish the setup

Prompt for Online Updates

On clicking “Finish” button, setup will open the screen to set Online Updates path, which you

collected already from Facts Implementation Engineer.

Enter FTP path and credentials

Check on the checkbox “Yes, I have logged in as Administrator” to enter the FTP path and

credentials.

In the Source location\folder, type “ ftp://factsuae.com/FactsERP/Updates

Enter username and password of the FTP folder and click Verify Folder to verify Folder. Click “Save

Location” to save the ftp credentials.

Install Updates

Check “Yes, I have updated necessary security permissions” and click “Install Updates” to install the

latest updates of FactsERP.

Your FactsERP is now ready to use. A short cut of FactsERP, Any Desk and Quick Support created in

your desktop.

FactsERP Program Files

In the Program Files in Start menu, you can now see a section named “Facts Computer Software

House” and the following applications.

Any Desk

For support incidents Facts Implementation Engineers often asks for Any Desk Id. Click on Any Desk

application link and tell them the Any Desk address.

Download latest version of FactsERP

Click on the link to Install the necessary latest updates of FactsERP.

Facts Quick Support

For support incidents Facts Implementation Engineers often asks for Facts Quick Support Id and

password. Click on Facts Quick Support link and tell them Your ID and Password.

Setup SQL Connectivity (for IT Admin only)

This option s for IT administrators only. If there is a change in SQL Server connectivity, IT team can

configure the SQL connectivity details from this link.

Select “Connection String” radio from Data Access type” and enter

• Sql Server Name

• User Id

• Password

• Database name

Then click Verify to verify connection and click “Save Settings” to save the connection string

Activate FactsERP

Once after completing the installation, FactsERP will prompt to activate your application.

Check on “I have an Activation Key and want to activate product” and click “Next”

A Productid is generated automatically. Copy the Product ID and send it to FACTS IMPLEMENTATION

ENGINEER through email.

Once the Implementation Engineer provides you Activation Key, put in Activation Key field and click

Activate to activate your application.
