IMPORTANT: For best tape adhesion: do not apply adhesive on an extremely hot windshield, tape will cure too fast.Install in shaded area if possible. Also be sure windshield is clean before applying adhesive. Wipe dry after cleaning.

STEP 1. Sit in the front seat on the passenger sideand attach two mounting brackets to the buttons onthe back side of The Shade™ (opposite side ofhandle, see above drawing)PASO 1. STEP 6. Gently slide The Shade™ off the brackets andpress firmly on the flat parts of the brackets for 30 sec-onds. (You can view from outside while applying pres-sure to be sure you obtain maximum contact of adhe-sive to glass.) PASO 6. STEP 5a. With the brackets still on The Shade™,remove the backing paper from the adhesive pads onthe brackets. 5b. Press The Shade™ towards the wind-shield so the brackets will stick to the glass. STEP 4. Clean the windshield area where the brack-ets mount with soap and water. Open the packet ofadhesive promoter and wipe a small amount onto theinside of the windshield where the brackets willattach.PASO 4. STEP 2. With the brackets in place, put The Shade™next to the pillar post on the passenger side. Centerbetween the top and bottom of the windshield. Be surethe handle is positioned so you can grab it with your righthand from the driver’s side. (If not, The Shade™ needsto be flipped 180o)PASO 2. STEP 3. Mark the correct positions of the mounting brack-ets making sure they are both lying flat on the windshield(mark with masking tape, erasable marker, or wax cray-on).PASO 3. STEP 8. Attach one bracket to the button on the han-dle of The Shade™ and extend all the way across thewindow next to the driver’s side windshield post. PullThe Shade™ out around the mirror if necessary. PASO 8. STEP 10. Attach driver’s side latch bracket (as inSteps 4-6). Make sure surface is clean. Allowadhesive to cure for 24 hrs. before using TheShade™.PASO 10. STEP 9. (as in step 3 ) Mark latch bracket positionwith masking tape or crayon as in Step 3. Be sure toleave some room at the top of the windshield to liftThe Shade™ off of the bracket when retracting.Retract Shade™ into its casing.PASO 9. SHADE™ OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 1) Grasp the handle on The Shade™ and extend it towards the driver’s side

latch. (Pull Shade around mirror if necessary.) 2) Lower The Shade™ onto the latch on the driver’s side. 3) To unlatch The Shade™, grasp handle, raise slightly and retract.4) When retracting The Shade™, you can snap the casings together if desired.
