SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS - READ CAREFULLY!When installing and using this electrical equipment, there are basic safety precautions that should always be followed:

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!Do not operate pump and heating system whilst the CleverSpa® is empty.

This can damage the system and void your warranty.

• Thosewithhistoryofheartdisease,low/highbloodpressure,circulatorysystemproblemsordiabetesshouldconsultadoctorbeforeusingCleverSpa®.PeopleusingmedicationshouldconsulttheirdoctorbeforeusingtheCleverSpa®.Somemedicationsmaycausedrowsiness,whilstothermedicationmayaffectheartrate,bloodpressureandcirculationduringuse.

• WaterinaCleverSpa®shouldneverexceed42°C (107°F).Operatingtemperaturesbetween38-40OC (100-104°F)areconsideredsafeforahealthyadult.Lowertemperaturesarerecommendedforyoungerchildren,andwhenuseexceeds10continuousminutes.

• Amaxtemperatureof42OCcanbeprogrammedforthewater-Oncecoverisremoved,watertemperaturewillautomaticallydropasheatisreleasedthroughevaporation.Theadditional2OCcompensatesforheatlossthatmayoccur.Onceyouarereadytouse,reducemaximumtemperaturetorecommended38-40OC(100-104°F)andensurethattemperaturereadingisnogreaterthan40OC.

• ImmediatelygetoutofyourCleverSpa®ifyoufeeluncomfortableorsleepy.

• DonotturnCleverSpa®onwhenitisempty.Thiscouldcauseirreparabledamagetopumpsystemwhichwouldnullifyanywarrantyperiod.

• Toavoiddamagingyourpump&heatingsystemduringcolderweather,yourCleverSpa®isfittedwith365 FreezeGuardTechnology.Setthetemperatureto5OC,andthiswillpreventanywaterinthesystemfromfreezing.

• Alwaysaddchemicalstojugofwatertoavoidstrongfumesorviolentreactionsthatmayresultinahazardouschemicalspray.

• Toavoidaccidentalresettingofthermalcut-out,thisappliancemustnotbesuppliedthroughanexternalswitchingdevice,suchasatimer,orconnectedtoacircuitthatisregularlyswitchedonandoffbytheutility.

• WARNING:Adequatedrainagehastobeprovidedtodealwithoverflowofwater.

BEFORE YOU SET UP BLACK LABEL CLEVERSPA®

If your WiFi signal is poor all over your garden, please contact your internet provider for further assistance.

Before setting up your CleverSpa® with CleverLink - find a strong WiFi signal

DISTANCE FROM HOUSE

1. You must have solid support foundation where you install your CleverSpa®. When setting up, ensure there are no sharp objects that could damage the CleverSpa® and the location is level so the CleverSpa® sits properly.

2. During filling, emptying or when in use, water may spill out. You should install it near to a drainage point that is able to accept the total volume of water.

3. Do not leave the surface of the CleverSpa® exposed to direct sunlight for long periods of time as this may affect the strength of the welds.

Before setting up outdoors1. Floor must be able to withstand

weight of the CleverSpa® + occupants.

2. Floor should be a non-slip, level surface.

3. Suitable drainage is essential when installing your CleverSpa® indoors.

Carefully consider the placement of your hot tub before installation.

SETTING THE TEMPERATURE

Press‘SET TEMP/LOCK’andthenumbersondisplayscreenwillstarttoflash.Increase/decreasetemperaturebypressing‘TEMP UP’ or‘TEMP DOWN’.

Choosedesiredtemperature,press‘SET TEMP/LOCK’againtoconfirm.Temperaturescanbesetbetweentherangeof5°C to 42°C.

(See safety instructions for recommended operating temperatures).

INFLATE/AIR JETS

Press‘INFLATE/AIR JETS’tostartairjets-aredlightwillappear.Pressagainandairjetswillstopworking-redlightwillgoout.

Airjetsstopautomaticallyafter20minutes.Toreset,waitfor10minutesandpress‘INFLATE/AIR JETS.Airjetscanbestopped/startedanytimeduringtheir20minutecycle.

Air Jets will stop after 20 minutes to avoid internal pump over-heating.

Tomakesurefiltrationsystemisoff,press‘FILTER’.‘FC’ondisplayscreenwilldisappearaswellaswarningtone.Watertemperaturewillbedisplayed,allfunctionswillreturntonormal.‘FC’andwarningtoneremindusertoreplacefilter.

Press‘HEATER’,redlightwillappear.Press‘HEATER’againandheatingsystemwillstop,redlightwillgoout.

Whenheatersystemison,filtersystemwillswitchonautomaticallytocirculatewater.Whentemperaturehasreached1°C abovepre-settemperature,heatingsystemwillstopworking,butlightwillremainon.Filterpumpwillcontinuetooperateevenwhenheaterisnotfunctioning.

Whenwaterfalls1°Cbelowpre-settemperature,heatingsystemwillautomaticallyheatwaterbackto1°C above selectedtemperature.Onceachieved,heaterwillstoptoallowtemperaturetosettleatpre-setvalue.

WATER AND LEGIONNAIRES DISEASE?

Legionnaires’diseasecanbecontractedbyinhalingsmalldropletsofwater(calledaerosols),whicharesuspendedintheairandcontainthebacteria.CertainconditionsincreasetheriskofLegionellaif:

• Watertemperatureinallorsomepartsofthesystemisbetween20-45°C,whichissuitablefor growthofthebacteria.• Itispossibleforbreathablewaterdropletstobecreatedandwaterisstoredand/orre-circulated.• Therearedepositsthatcansupportbacterialgrowthprovidingasourceofnutrientsforthe organisme.g.rust,sludge,scale,organicmatterandbiofilms(fromthebody).

HOW TO EMPTY YOUR CLEVERSPA®

1. SwitchoffCleverSpa®atelectricalmains.

2.Unscrewcapfromdrainageoutlet(T), locatednearpumpsystemoftheCleverSpa®.Ensuredrainageplug(K)isinsertedtopreventunexpecteddraining.

3. Removedrainageplug(K) fromoutletwithinfloorofCleverSpa®, sowatercanflowout.

4.Oncedraineduseaspongetoabsorbexcesswater.SwitchCleverSpa®on,allowingyoutooperateairjetfunctionforupto20minutes(onefullcycle)todrainwateranddryoutpipeline.Ifnotcompletelydryafterfirstcycle–repeat.

5.Whendraininghasfinished,replacedrainageplug(K)anddrainageoutletcap(T).

6.Disconnectthepump&heatingsystemanddrythoroughly.

STORING YOUR CLEVERSPA®

CompletelydrainwaterfromtheCleverSpa®,pumpandheatingsystem.CleverSpa®shouldbeplacedinbagprovidedandstoredinadryplace,raisedofffloorandawayfromextremetemperatures.

Please note:CorrectstorageisvitaltoextendthelifeofyourCleverSpa®.

HOW TO DEFLATE YOUR CLEVERSPA®

1. Remove filtercartridgeandfiltersock.

2. Locateinflationvalve.

3. Removevalvecap(W)bytwisting90°anti-clockwise.

4. Pressinflationvalve(P)down,twisting90°clockwisetolockinplace,releasingair.

5. Foldawaycarefullyremovingasmuchairaspossiblethroughopenvalve.

6. Whenfullydeflated,turninflationvalve(P) 90°anti-clockwisetoclose–buttonwillpopup.

7. Replacevalvecap(W)andturn90°clockwisetolock.

WARNING!Hot tub is under high pressure.

The air will release quickly, with force.
